This. I also quite enjoyed Jillian going off on Carly. After hearing Carly make the comment about Britt (paraphrasing) "The prettiest girl in the room finally didn't get everything she wanted. How does it feel to be here with the rest of us?", I'm not sure if she's insecure or just plain jealous & mean. Not that I'm a big Britt fan or anything (I don't have any feeling about her either way), but it started to look like Carly was less interested in getting Chris & more interested in putting Britt "in her place". As she cried in the limo about why nobody wants her, I said to the tv "Because you're a bitch!"

I just got around to watching this episode. This is probably going to be quite unpopular, but Carly of all people calling Britt fake was laughable. Carly claiming she cares about Chris so much and feels so protective of him that she just has to warn him about Britt was so super phony. What I got from it was that what she most cares about is Britt for once not getting what she wants. Plus, I don't know if it was editing, but what she said about Britt was a lie. Carly said Britt told her no way could she see herself living in Arlington, then went & told Jade she loves it, it's so beautiful. When I saw the conversation with Jade, Britt said at first I was like no way would I live here but then I saw the sunset while we were driving away and it was so beautiful. Carly made it sound like all Britt did was gush to Jade, but she did tell Jade she had a negative opinion at first. I said in another post I'm not sure I buy that any of these contestants are insecure, but this episode totally changed my mind about Carly. She looks to me like she's one of those people who are so insecure that they try to make themselves look better by making others look worse. If Carly has issues with getting into relationships I have a feeling that's her biggest obstacle.

It looks like lots of people liked Tina "Fab"...ugh, I could not STAND her & never got what was so "fabulous" about her.

I know most (if not all) of us here complain about the writers insulting our intelligence. I don't disagree, but my UO is that I really don't care. I watch this (and the Bold & the Beautiful) as an escape from reality and yes, in a sense an escape from thinking, so if they want to throw stupid crap out there, fine by me.

That's a good point. Since you specifically mention Eva Longoria, I'm not really a fan, but I do like that she always gives credit to Y&R and has spoken of how grateful she is that they gave her a start in acting. You've Got Mail is one of my all time favorite movies. I have the DVD and the extras include biographies of all the actors & their past work. Meg Ryan's did NOT include ATWT...however Tom Hanks has no problem admitting to Bosom Buddies, which, IMO, is a heck of a lot more embarrassing than a soap!

I feel like the bolded part shows why it would be a deal breaker for some (but I get why it wouldn't be a deal breaker for you). I do think in most cases it has less to do with how many men Becca would have been with, but more with going into marriage having no idea if they'll be compatible, or even if she'll like sex. Not that sex is the end all and be all to a relationship (although I personally feel it's extremely important), but I think it's something both partners should be on the same page about.

That's what I was assuming at first, but I didn't feel like there was any indication of problems between Maya & Nicole. So when you say offscreen, you aren't kidding!

Funny you should mention Julianne Moore, grisgris. I found some really old youtube clips of ATWT with a super young JM, and she was absolutely dreadful then, it's really amazing how much better she got. I liked the fact that she appeared on one of the final ATWT episodes as Frannie & that she never seemed embarrassed (quite the opposite, she always seemed grateful) that she got her start on a soap. Unlike Meg Ryan, who rarely fesses up to her ATWT role.

Caroline talked about wanting to flip her switch, but she didn't actually do it yet, right? Maybe I'm just naive, but I'm holding out hope that she ends up not doing it. As others have said, the flipped switch has been done to death & is just too predictable.

I think he genuinely does think that. He did a thing on youtube with other cast members where he was fake interviewing them, and I think he thought it was the funniest thing going. Personally, I was embarrassed for him.

I'm a Philly person...I love the Phillies but can't stomach the Eagles or Flyers. Regardless, LOVED ca-caw, since I can't stomach the Cowboys either :) That being said, I would NEVER invite someone local to watch hockey with me all decked out in my Devils gear while I go on to trash talk the Flyers.

I agree with this. In the earlier seasons, for example, they were much more willing to stake a vampire (when's the last time that happened, anyway?), and usually when they didn't they had a good reason (like Katherine...but wait, if you'll kill me, you'll never know about ___). I still find the show entertaining, but I feel more like this is a show about a bunch of pretty people who happen to be vampires, rather than a bunch of vampires who happen to be pretty.

I didn't see the episode yet, but from this comment it looks like the writers forgot that Caroline, while a vampire, lost her dad.

I think the point, though, is the west coast does seem to be "all that" for most of these contestants, and that being the case, Arlington would not likely appeal to them.

I watched the Instagram thing St3ph linked to, reminds me why JMW annoys me & why I think she IS Steffy (and vice versa). Look at meeeeee work out, I'm sooo hottttt, and FUNNNNN!!!! I tried to follow her on Twitter but her ego just irked me. While I admit she does look great, she doesn't need to brag about it.

Funny you should say that. After I watched the 1st 3 episodes I thought it was terrible & depressing. But with so many people telling me how great it was, I kept watching, and am I ever glad I did. IMO by far the best show I've ever seen.

So then the theory is that he died at Denny's, and everything that happened after actually happened before? I've heard the theory that WW died in the car, and everything that happened after was a dream going on in his dying brain. For the record, I think what was portrayed is what happened & he died in the shootout at the end.
