This is the part of the flashbacks that really interests me. What was it that made Oliver decide to go back in 2012? Well, that and seeing Anatoly again but I've built that up in my head so much that I'm 99% sure it'll end up being a complete disappointment.I've actually always operated under the assumption that Oliver loves Starling. I don't have any firm evidence to offer at this time, it's just a feeling.

I'm partial to Paul Blackthorn's chest hair carrying a scene. I spotted Susanna straight away but couldn't make out anyone else. The part where Colin himself cracks up is gold. That's a really nice voice he has.

Oh, there are absolutely people who think like that. But no, Oliver and Thea are not those kind of people. Oliver was having an honest conversation with Felicity 10 minutes earlier in episode time, and Thea has always cut through the bullshit. Roy breaking up with her? No, you're not.
-
I would really like it to be the former, which would indicate that Laurel at least has noticed something off with Thea if John unexplicably hadn't. I could understand him shutting Oliver out on the issue but that's all we got from him on the matter. No touching base with Thea or mentioning it to either Laurel or Lyla. He's already had Thea at his home while Oliver was with the League, she had an open invitatin there and she's now part of the team. All these months that they must've been spending time together and he didn't notice anything? Not like John at all.

I got what you were saying but while he has a different relationship with Dig and Roy than he does with Felicity and Thea, I think he'd be pretty crushed if it was either of them. Wasn't he when he thought Roy was dead? And Dig is his brother. On another note, what do you think the timeline is from Thea and Laurel showing up in Ivy Town and Oliver and Felicity coming back to starling? Because Thea and Laurel are in the same outfits at their house and in the lair, while Oliver and Felicity are not. Did they have an overnight stay?

I thought this was a really interesting observation:
-
I don't think I'd describe Roy as "far". He's Oliver's former protoge who sacrificed his life for him. Yeah, he's not dead, but he's not Roy Harper anymore and will never be able to be again.
-
Yeah, I remember the doctor telling Moira that he had fractures that had never healed properly - at least 12. But I can't think of when he had acquired them right now and references a quick Google search comes up with are breaks he had acquired after he came back to Starling.
-
Apparently not.

Line of defense to get some rest as he is just human? LOL. This whole "conversation" is ridiculous and über fun. I see it as her superpower, so I'm not surprised she does it differently than mere mortals do.
-
Then I think you'll enjoy watching him get back in bed.

I'd be fine with Dinah because Alex Kingston is another one of the actors I usually like who just felt off in their roles in Arrow for me. Also sitting at her table is Peter Stormare. I'm hardly surprised. I think this particular image was posted just to elicit those reactions.

I'm not sure whether this pic has cropped up here yet. I don't remember seeing it. It's from episode 7 which is currently being edited. I know the resolution isn't the best but does that look like the temporary lair they're in right now? I thought they'd be at the new and improved one by this point.

What? Where does that come from?Oh, I will be pissed if it's Malcolm. Not because he's dead but because Oliver sheds a tear over him.
-
These are the same people who wrote Felicity's observation about the tattoo like it was the first time she's noticed he had it removed so I'm betting on the latter.
-
Felicity: Uh oh, you have mopey face. Were you worried after five months of happiness that you weren't going to be able to make it anymore? Oliver: [cracks a smile]

I agree with all your points. Except that I wouldn't say the reassuring wasn't done as well as Bali. I just think those two exchanges were tonally different. Bali was the height of hilarity and will never not be funny, while the reassurance bit was just calmer. And I'm really more than fine with that being calm and steady because this is what they've been like when it comes to telling one they love each other. It's just a fact that they are secure in and they present it in such a way.

Xantar was talking about Thea. ;)

She's wearing a skirt with a slit when she gets her lunch. The pants she's wearing at the loft. Maybe she chils in pants at home while dresses and skirts are her uniform. This is exactly what I'm thinking. Also from one of the promos, it looks like it's actually Quentin who plants the idea of running for mayor in Oliver's mind when he tells him the city needs somebody to step up during the day. And I have to say I like the idea of this coming from Quentin, a person with whom Oliver has an adversarial relationship. He's used to taking cues from Felicity and Diggle who are his circle of trust but I like that he's learning how to filter input from other sources. Of course, now I'm also wondering whether Quentin does it to set him up. Like, Darhk wants Green Arrow but Quentin can't snitch on him without putting Laurel's head on the stake as well. So he serves Oliver up as another hindrance, mayor. All the while planning to unmask him as Green Arrow once Darhk kills him. Dead men can tell no tales, and the team would have no reason sacrificing themselves over a dead man. I have to say I'd be simultaneously appalled and impressed.

And now I see the picture too. Naturally. :)yeah, who knows, it could be about the show or having to do with something completely different.
-
I still can't see it.

This gif makes me laugh. Felicity Smoak, setting Oliver Queen's nether regions on fire since 2013 (?). Source This comparison is also really nice: 2x02 4x01 Source

I am laughing so hard at the image of Oliver on social media. Though he might join some cooking forums if he can't reach Laura Hoffman to exchange any new recipes. Seeing as Waller screwed him over again, there will be plenty of dark Oliver in the flashbacks. And being back vigilantiing will surely tone down the current happy as a clam state. I forgot about one part of the fight that was really great (like every other part) and it was Felicity's "Kay" to Oliver saying he was going over the past 5 months. Like, fair enough.

I thought I head injection. Which could be what John Barrowman is miming right after he says it. No idea what either injection or abjection would be connected to. You think the part about Olicity rules being said in a mocking tone? I don't think so, I really believe he enjoys the pairing.

Yeah, but I didn't see it as just SA, but Oliver as well. Like he's so amused by her and even himself (right, Oliver, you thought she suddenly developed Barry's level of being late for things? Chump.) even at that moment that he couldn't help himself.
