S05.E17: Tell All Part 2
Scout Finch replied to greekmom's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days
Yep. A couple of seasons ago when it all had to be done remotely, raw footage from the taping--10 hours of it--was accidentally leaked by a cast member and it was quite enlightening (and also gave me a headache)! I also now give Shaun some slack because it's like trying to herd a horde of feral cats. A lot of her "let's move on" is due to all the shit that went down during that segment that we didn't see. The insults thrown back and forth between cast members was way worse than the occasional ones that we see. BabyGirl Lisa was a total nightmare, completely out of control, and fighting with everyone. She even used the n-word while talking to/or in reference of Usman. If I recall correctly, she also told Shaun to shut up at one point. Okay, here's a recap of the footage: -
Facial hair is a turnoff for me, and his definitely is!

It would be awesome on Decision Day if Katina tells Olajuwon that she's saying no because he kept failing her tests by continuing to be a patronizing asshole.

S05.E17: Tell All Part 2

Sitting at my table for one who thought Kimberly looked great, more so than the other women who were there in person. Memphis blew it with that prom dress! I really liked her outfit--even the apparently unpopular leather leggings--and she had a much more flattering hairstyle. No change to her personality, unfortunately, but I always found her a smidge less annoying out of all the couples on her season. -
All Episodes Talk: TRMS 2022 Season
Scout Finch replied to tessaray's topic in The Rachel Maddow Show
Tonight's episode is yet another example of what I like about Rachel and how it sets her apart: a history lesson that provides a deeper context to a current event. It was fascinating to hear about Finland's Winter War and then seeing their brilliant, extensive fortifications in case of another Russian attack. -

What the hell was up with Santiba's hair when she was talking with her mother? The way she had it parted you could see a bald spot on top of her head. The weird updo on either side that looked like wings?...ears?...only added to the hot mess.

He appears to have all of these! -
I always wonder who these people are that can afford to buy cars as gifts. Also, can they adopt me?

~Hugs~ I've been in that exact situation a few times in my 58 years. My other suicidal ideation is about taking a bunch of pills; however, it almost always ends with the thought of someone finding me in time, which means that I don't really want to die but just want to get help. This isn't going to sound like something to laugh about but I always thought that when my mother died I'd either kill myself or have a mental breakdown that I most likely would never recover from. So, in 2019, as she was dying I decided that I would kill myself when she was gone. But not right away...first, I had to handle her house and belongings. Then, I would also need to do the same with my apartment so I wouldn't leave a ton of stuff for my friends to have to take care of. Oh, and I'd also need to find a home for my two cats. Okay, so I wouldn't do it right now but I was definitely going to...just postponing it for several months until after I had taken care of all of these responsibilities. Even as I was swearing to myself that I was definitely going to do it in the future the dark humor side of me was also aware of the absurdity! In all likelihood, by then I would have realized, hey, I survived and would no longer be in that state of mind (although I have dealt with depression most of my life). While I still miss her every single day, I think it's hilarious now that I was just too damn responsible! Which was a good thing.

S05.E16: Unfinished Business/Tell All Part 1
Scout Finch replied to greekmom's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days
My very first proposal! From a stranger on the Internet. Bonus points if you're outside the U.S. because then we might be able to get on the show. I demand a prenup that states that I get full custody of my two cats. Two others got proposals after mine. Way to steal my thunder! There's a rumor that he's going to be on The Single Life. ....and perhaps on Love After Lockup. -

90DF Live Chat 3: I Gave Up Everything To Be Here
Scout Finch replied to Frozendiva's topic in 90 Day Fiancé
I'm 58 so am really pushing it, especially since I recently had to have a stent put in my heart! The band is (unfortunately-monikered) The Brian Jonestown Massacre. I have a ticket for a comedy show for the liberal rednecks (Corey Forrester, Trae Crowder) on the 16th but am leaning towards BJM in Tacoma...because, priorities! I have an extra Portland ticket I can hopefully trade. Hoping even more to find someone to share gas with me, given that it will cost nearly double the ticket! My first show since pandemic was supposed to be the New Candys (Italian psych band) a few weeks ago but it was about a week after angioplasty and I was sick. Bah. Getting old sucks! OT: I always forget when the live chat starts. Is it at 6:00 PST? I've only made it to one but the Tell-All 2 is just too tempting to miss! -

She can demand he keep his web cam on at work. Or lions with one gazelle. As a 58-year-old who has never even been engaged yet never felt entitled, I've got one thing to say to them: SHUT IT. -

My first outing is in a couple of weeks, three nights in a row. Same band--one show in my city and two in cities a few hours away (one being Seattle, as it turns out, Floatingbison) in an adjoining state. -

I really hope it's because he truly know he needs help and is doing it solely for himself, instead of just using it as a scheme to get Kim back by preying on her empathy. "See, I finally got help and am putting in the work just like you kept asking me to do to save our family." -
🤮 ETA: After actually hearing her say that and not just having read the above, I would like to amend my initial one hurling reaction to... 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Portlander for 30 years and I've never heard of any such thing.

Caitlyn Jenner: Call Me Caitlyn
Scout Finch replied to Lisin's topic in Keeping Up With The Kardashians
Perhaps I'm just pessimistic but I think she's a diversity hire. "Hackneyed grievances about transgender athletes or which bathrooms they use...who, us?? If we're supposed to be so prejudiced about those people* why would she want to be a member of the Republican party?" *'Those people': Anyone who's different that we can't cope with. -
I've been "defending" Chris because out of the copious amount of comments I've read it appears that about 95% of us had no idea she had alopecia until then and maybe he didn't either. However, you make an excellent point that did not occur to me. Even if he was in the same group with the 95% of us who did not know about that particular health issue, it doesn't matter unless we knew for certain that it wasn't due to any medical condition and was just a style choice. Perhaps I was unable to see this obvious "regardless" perspective because my logic was affected by how greatly the entire Smith family annoys me. 😏 So thank you for that. I wish I had thought of this very salient point before posting ad nauseum in comment sections using the argument of my first sentence!
