  1. Well, as they sometimes say: "A face only a mother could love." I couldn't even look at that thing, it was too creepy!
  2. Is it bad that I don't remember who the heck Grace is?!
  3. Okay, so the Magic 8 ball was explained but how would the stuffed animals' expressions change after leaving the store?
  4. It's so refreshing to see representations of my body. The only difference, really, is that I have a face. ;-)
  5. Heh, I wonder if there was a slight uptick in their sales today! ETA: Company Tweet: "sooo how many Cinnabons do you think that security guard ate." They also retweeted someone that posted after the episode: "Anyone else craving Cinnabon today?"
  6. Damn it! I haven't had a Cinnabon since sometime last year but now, thanks to this episode I am too weak to resist. But since it's 100+ degrees out (and very humid in the Pacific NW), I'm having some delivered. Vince needs to reimburse me!
  7. I love this movie! Ordered the DVD right after I rented it years ago. I've had friends watch it and they've all liked it.
  8. Caleb: Sabina definitely has a look and a style. Me: It's, uh, a look all right and, um, interesting... I do give her a high five though for the kombucha snark because I don't understand it either! The one time I tried it it just tasted really vinegar-y.
  9. If I recall correctly, he said that the reason John initially moved in was to help with the house expense that Patrick couldn't afford after his ex left and he was down to one income. I wonder if he also has to pay alimony?
  10. Okay, so I was too eager to see this episode right when it dropped that I paused Only Murders in the Building, right in the middle of a scene where party guests are playing a card draw mystery game where they have to figure out who got the killer card. Scene in Evil: card draw mystery game at Kristen's! (Count Floyd: Oooh, scary, boys and girls!) Somehow, this has to be a consequence of continuing to skip the intro. 👻
  11. I found the thread of the woman who babysit a very young (5 or 6) Ari, so I had the self-harm part wrong. Further down the page she also talks about how toxic the family were. It's on Reddit though and I don't think we're supposed to post the link. Is that correct? Just put "I used to babysit Ariel's!" into the search box over there.
  12. I'm sure they'll 'figure it out.'" Pretty sure it was on here or Previously TV that a babysitter or nanny of Ari's when she was growing up posted about a few times about how she witnessed how badly Ari was treated by her half-siblings and that's when she began self-harming (cutting).
  13. Because Michael Emerson did such an amazing job, to the point that when later in Linus' storyline where he becomes more and more broken that I actually felt a lot of empathy, is the reason I've been following him from show to show ever since. Particularly loved his character in Person of Interest! I don't think I would have even begun watching that show--or Evil--if it wasn't initially because of him.
  14. BWAH! I clicked on the Skip intro button and although it did, a little message appeared at the bottom: "Skip this intro and you will be haunted!"
  15. When he wasn't onscreen, they'd still refer to him all the time, "Where's Jack? Is he still sleeping? Here's his sippy cup. I wonder if his mood will be good or planet-disrupting today? Did he have a BM yesterday?"
  16. I didn't the first time but this time around am either muting or, like I'm doing now in S12, fast-forwarding through any scenes with scenery-consuming Mark Pellegrino's one-note Lucifer. Is he ever NOT sardonic? As much as I dislike Metatron, he's a lot less annoying. At the end of S12 and now I have three seasons of wishing I didn't know Jack [shit].
  17. I've watched this so many times! Cecily does an amazing job and I also crack up at Aidy Bryant nailing the screeching voice of the real-life lawyer!
  18. The most appalling, sorry-ass, inexcusable, cringe-worthy aspect of the show? That I will, of course, continue my questionable pattern of watching it.
  19. She's fine (we're friends on Facebook). She's had some health issues and her family has also kept her busy.
  20. And costing way more than Tom! I think she resemble Wayland Flower's Madame. I SO would knock Colt out with a couple of sleeping pills and completely shave his face. Can't do anything about his personality and weight right away, if ever, but just losing all that godawful facial hair would be a big improvement! I guess that might be considered assault, especially on an unconscious person who can't consent, but I'd be willing to risk it. 😈 (I was always wishing someone would hack off Gold Rush miner Todd Hoffman's beard in his sleep, too.)
  21. I wasn't really worried about the batteries running out in the Walkman as much as I was that the tape would get caught on something inside and unravel a bit. Then, they'd have to scramble to find a pencil or something that fit one of the spools to wind up the slack. 😏 (Okay, Boomer.) Reunions I was looking forward to the most: Hopper and Joyce, and especially Hopper and El.
