  1. "I'm close to completing my crumb cleaning apprenticeship."
  2. Snarkily looking forward to Josh's letter. "Your Honor, please do not deprive my family of the necessity for my crumb cleaning up skill."
  3. I appreciate you recapping some of her Twitter feed because I end up clicking on a bunch of the trending topics and completely forget why I even went there in the first place. Anyone know if there's a way to hide the trending sidebar?
  4. Not the first time and it won't be the last that I've cursed, "Damn you, Vince Gilligan!" as an episode abruptly ends with a shocking cliffhanger. Although it was a bit contrived that Howard and Lalo would just happen to show up within a few minutes of each other. I would have loved to see a red balloon float into view behind Lalo's head while he's peering out of the storm drain. Where's Pennywise when you need him??
  5. Nope. I'd just wonder why someone was wearing such ugly-ass shoes.
  6. My town! I was heavily involved in the local music scene at that time.
  7. Is the guy on the right inadvertently standing on her train or is it to make sure it stays stylistically spread out?
  8. Or something that makes you stand out because no one else is doing it...like butt bongo playing.
  9. "I'm just a word processor, for Christ's sake!"
  10. I never thought there could be anyone from 90D that I'd want to punch more than Libby's brother, Charlie. Then I was introduced to the Grade A patronizing, condescending asshole-extraordinaire. Congrats, Bilal, you're now the top contestant to Win a Date With Scout Finch's Fist!
  11. I wonder if that extended to Jill's comment about how it happens in a lot of families in their environment.
  12. Evelyn looks so much better now that she no longer has that unflattering hairstyle! Although I didn't start watching 90DF until a couple of seasons after Danielle and Mohammed, I've picked up plenty about what happened and also saw them on Diaries and the Tell All. I think it's wonderful that he's become such a great and very supportive friend, one that was also able to recognize and apologize for his part in hurting her. I'm sure that's not at all the norm in the patriarchal society he comes from. It started out as her just needing closure. Given the fact that it seems like 99% of the exes from the franchise despise each other for all eternity, I find it really refreshing. So my comment to her children is, "It's a major accomplishment and she can damn well celebrate with whomever she wishes!" You'd think that by now they are well aware of how respectful and supportive he is and that she no longer appears to harbor any illusions that it will ever be anything other than platonic. Of course, it could just be producer-contrived "Oh, noes, could there be conflict at the graduation??"
  13. I always DVR everything so went straight to fast-forwarding her!
  14. Yes, that's what Vince has said as to why he knew Brian could easily handle a dramatic role.
  15. I know it's such a shallow, petty thing but that Cindy Brady-ish curl was my initial reason for disliking her! A lower, fuller, and straight ponytail would look much more professional.
  16. Very unpopular opinion, I'm certain, but I have never cared for Kim nor been interested in any of her career scenes, so my dislike is only getting stronger. I agree it was cruel of Howard to demote her after her involvement with Jimmy's advertising plot but that was several seasons ago and I find it hard to believe that she suddenly now wants to destroy him. Also not happy with Jimmy for actively being her partner in this crime but at least I've always liked him.
  17. I am only partly joking when I wish that there was some way to erase just the part of my memories of watching BB for the first time! I've watched it several times since and it's interesting to have picked up on nuances and also, characters that I despised the first time around, i.e. Hector, I've really enjoyed during subsequent viewings. However, there is nothing like taking that wild ride the very first time and I am so envious of those who are just now climbing on board and securely fastening themselves in! I'm trying to get a close friend to watch it with me just so I can somewhat live that first viewing vicariously through her.
  18. Although I've never felt strongly one way or the other about them as individuals, for some reason I've always found it really sad that she and Jimmy Kimmel broke up. Even though it happened about 20 years ago I thought they were such a funny, adorable couple and seemed perfect for each other.
  19. Because he already knows that everything is better in Turkey.
  20. Thinking about the nurse telling Jason that if Kylen wants an epidural it's "her body, her choice." Can you imagine if she had gotten pregnant a few months from now but ended up for whatever reason having to terminate it? Jason would be one in an endless line of men who know shit about how a woman's body works but would legally be able to force her to go through with it! I'm also willing to bet that oral does not go both ways in their relationship.
  21. It time-traveled to the Pearson's house to act as a pivotal plot point in the late '90s.
  22. I gave up after episode 4 but it's hilarious to read the threads. I don't have the context of the episode but it appears to be just as arcane to those who do, and I suspect the comments would mirror the play by play in my head it I were watching!
  23. This 58-year-old is joining you but... Having said that, can you send them to my house? I really dislike cooking! I wish I could forget the scene that took place at Elizabeth's and her two sisters' poolside milk bar.
  24. When my maternal grandma was in her late 70s she eventually had to place my grandpa in a care facility due to advanced Alzheimer's. They'd been married for over 60 years and were very devout Catholics. So after grandpa went into the facility--where she visited him daily even though he really didn't recognize her--she struck up a friendship with a lonely widower in her neighborhood and they'd get together to play cards. She hastened to tell us--her five adult children and a few of us grandchildren--that there was nothing going on between them! Our general response was so, what if there is? Eventually, though, they did fall in love and it was funny because Art was so sweet and quiet in stark contrast to the loud volume, salty language, and greasy mechanic career of my grandpa! It was adorable seeing my grandma like a teen in love. He eventually moved in with her and she was really concerned that the people at her church would be appalled to know that she was "living in sin." She even felt she had to explain to us that even though they were living together they weren't having sex because Art was unable to (for some reason I don't recall). TMI and we didn't care anyway. She had given her heart and entire life to my Grandpa and was still driving to the care facility every day. None of us thought there was anything wrong with her finding a new, unexpected happiness and it was so beautiful to see. After my Grandpa died about a year later, they got married at the church Grandma went to and no one there was any the wiser! My cousins and I did the tin cans on her car thing and after we went back to her house, my uncle came in and went, "DAD!" to Art. She and Art had a couple of happy years before he died, and then she passed away a few years later.
  25. "I found out my first wife was my sister" would have replaced "I caught my second wife screwing my stepdad. OK? It’s a cruel world, Walt. Grow up.”
