  1. I love Martin and Roger. The scene where Roger looked through the house looking for Riggs and he finds that Riggs cleaned up dinner and passed out cemented my love for them. I love the actors' chemistry too. I like that Roger is slowly coming around to Riggs. And I like that Roger's wife Trish is not the trope of a nagging angry wife, but is recognizing what Roger needs and is trying to be supportive but realistic. I also like that she is supporting Martin too. He definitely needs people to support him. I really like that Riggs isn't the wild-eyed crazy that Gibson protrayed him as. This Riggs is still reckless, but to echo Trish, "not crazy." Depressed, upset, reckless, but also dedicated, empathetic, and definitely likes working with Roger. I'm in for the season.
  2. So, was Bernie Sanders the top secret cameo that had been rumored on one of the big networks? It was funny and unexpected. But I didnt see it causing the chatter that was predicted if it was. Always love Schmidt. "I'm going to make a system."
  3. I hate this storyline for this reason alone. Alex deserves to go to jail. But something will happen that he doesn't...which I'm duessing is DeLuca lying on the stand saying he doesn't remember what happened after all. Anyone feel like Alex, who works with babies and took care of Meredith and her kids after Derrek died would have landed one punch or even punched the wall instead of DeLuca? I think this story drags Alex back years in character development. And I'm super bummed for him. Finally a storyline and it seems like one that would have better fit Evil Spawn. Love that Alex is getting a story but hate the story. I can never have nice things on Greys. First George, then Mark, then Callie and Alex. You'd think I'd learn....
  4. I spent the entire time thinking "I watched this whole pilot in the previews for the show." I'm still hooked. I want to see the aftermath, I love the idea of all these different people having to step-up in such moments of tragic circumstances. I wonder if by the end of the series, Tom and the General will have a mutual respect for each other. I feel that if the General is the "villian" its too obvious and frankly, the General is Gibbs from Pirates of the Caribbean movies and I'm struggling seeing him as a General. I'm hoping more of shades of gray than good guy versus bad guy. The, I think, Chief of Staff looked like he wasn't completely on the General's side when he talked about the Coup. The Coup, by the way, is a horrible idea. Please, show your enemies when you're already down that you're divided as well.
  5. I loved it. I liked the easy chemistry between Martin and Rodger. And I loved that Mrs. Murtaugh was being kind to Martin. I hope Fox gives this show a chance. It looks lkke a good time. I didnt mind the sucide references, but I liked that Rodger just finally asked him about it at the end. If you're going to be partners in a job that risks their lives, you better know their life outlook. And you know Rodger is now going to keep that in mind every time they're down on the count.
  6. I loves the #sherules commerical after Tatiana won. I got into Orphan Black late but respect the hell out of Tatiana for her work on it. I forgot she was playing all the clones. And thats amazing.
  7. I always loved ER's opening title cards. I don't know what it was about them, but I always watched as they flipped through ER's memorable moments. I always thought they were classic.
  8. As a former track coach, this kills me. Not that they lost the appeal, but that the baton pass was so awful to begin with. My track athletes knew the number one rule of relays is "don't screw up the baton pass." Even my throwers and jumpers, who had never run a relay, knew how serious those baton passes needed to be. Man, I don't know, my heart is broken for them but as adults how do you not see on the lanes where you can and cannot pass the batons?? At the Olympics nevertheless....
  9. I am so excited for Gwen! I don't think there's a dry eye in Wisconsin after that finish. And her interview afterwards just brought those tears back. Congrats Gwen!!!!
  10. I'm super excited for this event. I hope they cover parts of it on tv. I'm really rooting for Gwen after the diaster of the blown tire in the London Games.
  11. They just showed Aly's parents watching her compete and it caused me (of all things) to tear up. The way you can tell Mom was saying "come on Aly" over and over and how both parents knew exactly what was going to happen caused the tears to well up and spill. I don't even have kids but the pride and agony just got me.
  12. ^I can't agree more with this. When Dylan had his accident, I totally thought the season arc was going to be about Stiles being missing. What I cannot believe, is there has not been a peep about Dylan since his accident. Not that I was expecting pictures, but in a world practically ruled by social media, I can't believe the radio silence that's going on. I hope he's okay, I loved his comedic timing. Was anything said about him during Comic Con? I haven't watched anything yet because I haven't had the time...
  13. I can't figure out how to post it, but Norman Reedus posted a video of him glitter-bombing Andrew Lincoln's car, I'm assuming on set. It's blowing out of the air vents, so if he puts on the air, it streams out. Needless to say, Andrew Lincoln didn't look super pleased as I'm assuming Norman is geeking out so much you can't even recognize his voice.
  14. I am in love. If the movie is put together with care like that^ was, it's going to be right up there with Empire Strikes Back and The Force Awakens. Seriously, some of those shots were gorgeous! And I'm even more intrigued. I know the story is straight forward, but I can't wait to watch the journey on how they get there. I would totally be that guy laughing in the X-Wing. So cool, I'm jealous of everyone who gets to help bring any of the Star Wars movies to life.
  15. Just like the first one, I loved it. It reminded me of the tv show Leverage, especially with the whole plane bit (they did that in Leverage with the Spruce Goose). Con movies are one of my weaknesses and I was trying to figure out the con the entire time. Since the multiple mentions of the Long Con, I really thought Merritt's brother was in on it the whole time. I was pleasantly surprised he wasn't. I had just figured the twin bit was a shout-out to the movie The Prestige. I really liked Lulu. I thought she was badass, and cheeky. I liked that she chased Jack the whole film, and wouldn't let the boys shut her out. It was refreshing, almost like they wrote her part for a male and flipped her gender. My favorite character was Dylan. I loved his dedication to not only his father but to the Four Horsemen too. Even when Atlas was a tool, Dylan stuck around and then saved him. He is a good leader (and made me wonder if Atlas was completely in charge, if he would someday burn the rest of the Horsemen). And Mark Ruffalo killed the fight scene. Loved the mix of magic and fight moves. Did anyone else chuckle at the line with the other FBI agent when he said "That's the thing about being two people, one person trips up the other eventually" when he was talking to Ruffalo? It got a rise out of our audience and there were lots of laughs. My Dad even whispered "think he knows he's the Hulk?" I loved the long con, I want to rewatch the first now knowing where the story went. I hope they make a third, I know I'd watch it.
  16. What a truly awful way to go. I hope mercifully it was quick for him, and not that he was aware while he was pinned between his car and the security wall. And his poor friends who found him, a tramatic experience for everyone involved. I loved him in everything that he was in, I really thought he was going to go places.
  17. I fast-forwarded through her death, I knew it was coming as soon as the guard put his knee on her back. I couldn't believe it, and I couldn't believe that no one tried to give her CPR. I can't believe no one in that room was screaming about CPR. Poussey was one of my favorite characters, I'm crushed.
  18. I did like the voiceovers from their first episode. I thought they had killed both of them off as a big middle finger to everyone who complained about letting go the ladies. Happy Ending. Thank the stars. Or everyone on Twitter.
  19. Finally saw the movie this morning. Nothing like going to a 9am on a Sunday to beat the crowds. I absolutely loved it. It was heartbreaking, suspenceful and amazing all at the same time. Echoing everyone else who wished they had spent a little more time on Steve, I wish there had been one new flashback of Steve, Bucky, Howard, and Peggy from the War. I think it would have connected Bucky to Tony a bit more too (although having two different Howards might have thrown people) and reminded people of the friendship. Not everyone marathons movies before sequels (I did, can't help myself). That said, I left the theater wanting more, wishing to see smaller beat moments. Like Steve telling Bucky about Peggy's death or even Bucky telling Steve he was sorry about Peggy(that one I was really surprised they didn't include). Or a scene where Tony is talking to Friday about still not being able to locate Banner. Or someone helping Peter Parker get home after being basically abandoned in Germany. I would have died if they had included a Foggy or Murdock scene trying to find the heroes who had been locked up in the floating prison because the wanted to represent them. I was really split down the middle between Cap and Tony, but twice Tony just killed me with his decision making, and I absolutely adore Tony. The first was bringing in a teenager who didn't even have his license yet into the fight. I know the writers/directors were asked why Murdock wasn't asked by Tony but I think that answer is obvious (There's no way Murdock is going to answer to anyone about Hell's Kitchen, he doesn't even answer to Foggy or Karen about it) but what was Tony thinking? Peter is a baby (six months into being Spiderman) and Tony had no idea how he would be treated by everyone else. I don't think Sam, for one, would have fought him the same way if he knew he was so young. I wish Steve had questioned his age later when he saw Tony. I also hated the end with Tony returning back to Avenger's Mancave without even doing anything about the other Avengers locked up. So he's okay with defying The Accords to help Steve but after everything with Bucky, he's out? I wished we'd see him making a phone call about defense lawyers or at least looking at some on a computer. You'd think since he met Clint's kids and lost his own parents, he'd try to get Clint out. I still love Tony, he wouldn't be Tony if he didn't make one questionable decision in a movie. And man, does he need someone to help him deal with his PTSD, I bet he could have bonded with Sam too. The question now is, how does everyone mend their relationships? Wanda is not going to be very happy about how she was treated. Can't imagine Clint forgiving Tony anytime soon. And how is Tony and Bucky ever going to be able to work together? I vote for Sharon and Widow joinning up together on the run. Two ass kicking women? Rock it ladies, I'd watch them in a movie together. I'm definitely on Team Hug it Out. This movie was brutal to watch with all the fighting.
  20. Part of me wonders, if they hadn't had a plan for Marvel's Most Wanted, if Hunter would have ended up with powers. I like that he didn't, but Hellfire or whatever he picked for his name sort of has a lot of Hunter's characteristics, in fact, I think that's why I dislike the character Hellfire so much, he reminds me too much of what we've lost because of this spin-off show. I wanted Bobbi and Hunter back. Shield feels understaffed without them.
  21. This is a serious bummer. I really hope someone picks it up, I wanted to see Peggy set-up Shield, and be the one giving the orders for once. Ugh. I am momumentally disappointed. Peggy is the hero we all deserve. #peggydeservesbetter
  22. What is with Hive's/Brett's accent this week?? Ugh, it was taking me right out of the show. I think a stronger actor could have carried the Ward/TraitorWard/Hive gig, but I don't think Brett is carrying Hive well. God I hope Shield takes him out next week. I cannot handle another season if Hiiiiiiiiiiiive.
  23. Not that I needed more reasons to love Cisco, but his "Expecto Patronum" pretty much did me in. It almost overshadowed Barry blowing into pieces. Did they truly have to recreate the moment that the particle accelator blew exactly? If Wally and Jesse were just changed and they weren't even in the part that Barry was, Barry blew up for no other reason other than plot. Emotionally that was rough. Yea! For Iris finally expressing her feelings. And I loved all of Barry's Fathers together in one spot. And Barry's decision to not become the Flash and then to finally step back into the Speedster's shoes felt very Barry. Of course, he'd put the whole damn city's safety and protection over his desire to become the Flash again.
  24. I wish they hadn't played so fast and loose with the flash-forward vision rules. We could have assumed Daisy was the one in Space (maybe with someone else in the Quinjet) because she was "seeing" the vision through her eyes. However, that gets thrown out the window when you realize that there's no way she could have seen Lincoln with his cut up face in the previous vision. Grrrr, I hate the lack of logic there, but I get that's the point TPTB don't want us to easily guess who's going to die. My vote is for it being Hive. Maybe they're using the word "Team" as in referring to its the last time we'll see Brett Dalton because he was one of the original Team. I'm not a fan of them continuously retooling Brett Dalton's character because they like Brett. And it really bothers me that they keep talking about the Skye-Ward ship in interviews. Neither are their former selves anymore, and it grosses me out because Hive has hijacked Daisy's head. And I'm praying they don't pull a Walking Dead and we have no idea until the Fall. I frankly hate killing off characters to cause a media frenzy about a show. Make it organic and meaningful, not a tease!
