  1. Hell, I was just thinking of what a nightmare a hormonal Regina would be. If you think she cries a lot now... .
  2. Speaking of happy endings, Lana Parrilla got hers the other day -- she and her fiancé, Fred DiBlasio, got married in a small, private ceremony. Anyone besides me wondering whether Regina might sport a baby bump at some point if Lana gets pregnant in real life?
  3. And before anyone asks, yes, Samantha Harris danced, too. A week later, she and Jonathan Roberts did a Jive that was very well executed.
  4. Without wanting to start a war over semantics (this subject has been debated to death both here and elsewhere, believe me), I think that's really stretching the definition of "rape" far beyond what the word actually means and is intended to mean. It rather cheapens the proper use of the word to describe actual sexual assault, in my opinion, to apply it to people who don't even know that they're not supposed to be together, much less having sex. I mean, if you apply that logic, Leopold raped Regina every time they had sex together (and let's not pretend it didn't happen; that marriage had to have been consummated at some point!), even though she deliberately went through with the wedding knowing full well that her heart would never be in it. Similarly, David and Abigail would have been guilty of mutual rape (with Midas and George as accessories) if they had gone through with their arranged marriage in the Enchanted Forest.
  5. Don't even go there. The 70s were even worse when it came to tacky, over-the-top fashions for both sexes. As far as I'm concerned, the last decade that boasted good fashion trends for both men and women was the 60s -- and the early 60s at that!
  6. You also have to remember, though, that in the 80s, the Number 1 fashion motto was "Bigger is better!" EVERYTHING, including the hair, was deliberately and ridiculously oversized (remember those linebacker shoulder pads?) The bulky sweaters and oversized dresses, suits, and jackets were simply what was considered chic at the time. That's why I will always refer to the 80s as "The Decade that Fashion Forgot."
  7. Yuck! These cities get seven years to prepare for the Olympics. How is it that Rio is just now figuring out that its planned venue for Yachting is unusable? Sochi is actually starting to look good now compared to Rio and Pyeongchang.
  8. I would also put Radio City Music Hall on that list. I remember seeing a spectacular musical tribute to the 50 States there back in 1981, and it was mind-blowing (no Rockettes, however!). There is also a boat tour that goes all the way around Manhattan. It's a couple of hours long, but it's really informative.
  9. Title for Episode 04 x 03: "Rocky Road" Aside from the fact that it's one of my favorite ice cream flavors (second only to Peanut Butter Fudge), I'm at a loss as to its potential significance.
  10. Well, living in Arizona now, I can't say that I miss the winters or the humidity in summer, but I do miss everything else about that city. I've dreamed of going back there for a visit for over 32 years.
  11. Lucky you, getting to go to New York on business and still have a little time for fun. I lived in New York for two years in the early 80s, and I can't tell you how much I miss it!
  12. Or maybe it was because the show wasn't really taped in Miami but on an overly-air-conditioned sound stage in Hollywood, where you'd have to dress in layers just to tolerate the excessively cold studio air every day.
  13. And we have our Prince Hans: It's Tyler Jacob Moore. http://www.eonline.com/news/563949/tyler-jacob-moore-cast-as-frozen-s-prince-hans-on-once-upon-a-time
  14. I'm not surprised, but given that he's done this "I'm done with DWTS/Well, maybe just one more season" dance numerous times, I'll believe it when I don't see him in September (the same goes for you, Derek). I do have a bit of advice for him with regard to this, though: Here's a hint, Maks: If you're really serious about starting a family, you might want to cure the romantic ADD that you seem to have. You've dated many different women over the years and claimed that each one is "The One" -- so just pick one and focus!
  15. Been there, done that already. You must have missed the Season 2 Semi-finals when Tom did the Quickstep with Ashley Costa (or Ashley DelGrosso, as she was then known) as his pro partner. Tom did it partly because Master P (Ashley's celeb partner) had flaked out on her again, and also partly because he wanted to see what the stars experience. Afterwards, he said he'd never do it again -- once was enough for him!
  16. Sorry, Olaf's out. Adam and Eddie have said that repeatedly. They're deliberately leaving him out because they feel that his story belongs to the movie and he consequently has no place in the story that they want to tell.
  17. I always wondered whether the actors really enjoy going to these cons as much as they say they do. After seeing these pics, it's clear to me that they have a ball at them!
  18. Well, as Dorothy said, it was the final piece of the puzzle.
  19. But that's not what the question implies. The question "Have you ever had to give a eulogy at a funeral?" implies that the expected affirmative answer is "Yes, I once gave a eulogy at my aunt's funeral." The answer "Yes, remember that time that I was asked to give the eulogy at my aunt's funeral?" would have brought a response from Dorothy along the lines of "Sure I remember, but I also remember that you never actually had to give the eulogy there because the hurricane kept the plane from landing, so you still don't know what it's like to have to give one!"
  20. Not to worry -- Anton Du Beke usually gets those, remember?
  21. Well, everyone except Olaf. Adam and Eddie don't think he'd fit in with the story they plan to tell.
  22. I double-dog dare them to do a same-sex edition! :-P
