  1. @mbutterfly The Poisonwood Bible is so scary and in this case very close to reality. Esther was living in a pop up type trailer with those kids because John wanted to pursue missionary work and love offerings instead of actually working. Its sooo nuts.
  2. @PityFree First, I noticed they upgraded him from ditch digger to Consultant and second I was leaning to him not being an entertainment pro but now maybe a hopeful because of the show. I'd be disappointed if he is an actor because they could have set it up that way in the beginning like Joe Shmoe and it would have been a MUCH better show.
  3. I believe that he's another trust fund guy. He reminds me of a younger Harry Dubin, Aviva's ex and paramour to Sonja and LuAnn, etc. I think its the slightly bloated face and generally debauched look that they have in common.
  4. Great idea. I was hoping some kind poster would stalk their on-line accounts and report back.
  5. That was on a par with a beautiful wedding photo album featuring a wrap around photo on the cover of lovely bride Bethenny and some guy, I guess it was Jason because his head was cut off. Yep, she was really in love and proud of her new husband...
  6. It looks like Carole did the cheek puffing fillers that are currently all the rage and there are lots of ads running for it with a sizable list of side effects like lumps, bumps, swelling etc. The selling feature is a lifting of the cheeks and reduction of under eye hollowness. I think its pretty noticeable for those that do it.
  7. I was always sure Barry's unusual finds were seeded and probably with an item from the shop or person he went to appraise it or maybe it was his in the first place. Then when Bandi found that French bistro horse's head in a pile of junk I figured they had branched out into seeding other lockers because it would be a stretch to only have Barry finding usual things. Anyway, I watch the show in repeats when nothing else is on but I'm kinda over it.
  8. GBC a favorite for my family too. The current generation has tweaked it to be more healthy and has come up with some pretty good substitutes. Currently we're doing fresh cooked vegies but I make a side dish we call Double Onion Cassorole to replace the GBC. Take a bag or two of frozen pearl onions mix with homemade white sauce with a bit of grated cheese melted into it and top with french fried onions and bake. Satisfies the cravings for both the GBC and Mac & Cheese sides. (well almost)
  9. Amy's mom didn't marry the dad until more recently. It seemed like Amy used his last name until the Duggar name could help with her career. Deanna probably used Duggar until she married him and maybe still does.
  10. I thought FakeHarry did a pretty good job considering he was plucked from an average life and took on a pretty big task of carrying a show. I hope he was paid well beyond the "true love" bonus at the end. I thought he was better looking too but even though I might have been fooled for a moment he seemed much younger than RealHarry and that would have tipped me off. Well that and the complete absurdity of the most famous of the European royal families participating in this nonsense.
  11. Didn't they wrap up rolls of TP in colored tissue as party favors for Anna's baby shower or maybe it was the wedding shower. I thought that was oddly practical and one of the boys shockingly got instruction on how to set the colored tissue pieces on the diagonal for that extra touch of class. Yes, TP is truly taken to the next level in that family and must be respected.
  12. I loved their snack recipe of scarfing frozen blueberries out of a torn plastic bag. @NikSac the ingredients are: 4 Cups - hot tap water 1 Fels-Naptha soap bar 1 Cup - Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda* ½ Cup Borax If you search Duggar laundry soap it'll take you right to the correct page. I grew up with all those items in the laundry room and Mom added them to Tide as needed for different loads. (ok, I think I did that right and kinda neat if it works. One of the mods gave a tip of putting @ in front of a posters name and they will have notice that they appeared in a post)
  13. I was just wondering if the show was cancelled Probably not but just a thought.
  14. Kim: What do I call Kingsley? Matt: Kingsley hee...
  15. Oh yes, The Wallet vs. the OC Register. Good Times.
  16. Yes, I was pretty sure that's what you meant and I agree about most of the young kids. It seems like most of the new wives have young kids or no kids and I think that's because Bravo wants younger women.
  17. Oh, I just looked it up and he did both those horrible shows. [small voice] I rather enjoyed the Swam but the other, just no! [/sv]
  18. I did like the messed up teens on this franchise and the more accomplished ones in NYC. In both cases the older kids added interest that helped round out the wives stories.
  19. I was ok with Terry until after being curious about his work I read his on-line reviews. For what its worth there were lots of complaints about his work but even worse in my opinion was that he blew off concerns. I haven't checked since he first appeared but that combined with being "The Swan" surgeon causes me to view him with a bit a side eye.
  20. Heather may be currently getting the bitch edit but she's also getting the Bravo HBIC placement as the center orange in the RHoOC photo line ups. I was surprised it wasn't Vicki or Tamra. I think we'll see a redemption soon, well maybe...
