  1. @stewedsquash ~ To maybe answer your questions: Vicki is much more aware this season and is playing the middle of the road as opposed to being part of the dominate mean girl team. She has always reminded me of NYC Ramona in a love hate her housewife character way BUT Vicki is better this year and Ramona is nastier. Vicki doesn't have the whole building for her offices. In fact I'd bet she doesn't have as much as has been shown, just a feeling.
  2. The Duggar girls know more then I did with my first boyfriend. In fact they've already seen the down and dirty boy stuff. They've changed boy diapers, cleaned boy toilets, laundered boy underwear and sheets, know Michelle's cycle and how it relates to reproduction and their parents talk about making "blessings" to the entire world. They are not fragile flowers of innocent maidenhood and they have a pretty good idea of how Legos work by the time they wed.
  3. YES! That has been buggering around my mind and I'm glad you something because its much better than what I would have said.
  4. I was somewhat fixated on watching his eyes. He either couldn't or wouldn't look at either Sonja or LuAnn when they were talking. It made me feel a bit tipsy just to watch his glassy eyed inability to focus.
  5. @Duke2801 ~ MitGoG&E is/was one of my favorite book & movie combos. I liked them both and probably because of city's backdrop with and its unique residents and environment being as strong as the main story much like NYC was considered the fifth character in Sex and the City. Carole was going for that quirky unique feel and I thought it was a great party theme.
  6. The affair was probably coming to Ramona's attention around the time of Heather's hot weekend get-away and Ramona taking off to the Hamptons. I would have loved to see Carol's book tour in London. When her book first came out I bought a really cheap but new paperback from Amazon that was shipped from England. Interestingly it had different cover art.
  7. My favorite moment was spotting Jill holding her book "Secrets of a JM." ;^P Andy on WWHL even acknowledged it by having a graphic up and circling the book. I'm sure it made Jill's night.
  8. I'm so glad you mentioned that. He said doctors and...blanked out on any other professions and said hygienists. What a goombah :^p
  9. I believe the reunion is taping the 17th so Thursday.
  10. Kelly said this in answer to a question under the latest pix on their site. I thought the sleeves were all a bit different but the fabric seemed to be a match so I also was wondering about the dresses. eta: Kelly answers lots of questions under those last pix.
  11. When Bethenny started having success with Skinny Girl recognition she created an umbrella of problem-solving products and endorsements under her name including workout DVDs, books, clothes and weight-loss supplements in addition to her Skinnygirl cocktails. Someone posted her submissions for I guess it would be patent (?) on that other (twop) site. When she sold the cocktail line it only included her existing flavors and the potential to develop other alcoholic items. The other SG products weren't part of the cocktail sale and Bethenny still has a hand in their development. It seems like the only big money maker was the cocktail sale though.
  12. wa, wa what? A prison consultant? Boy that Jill really is the "connector" she professed to be in season 1.
  13. To go after Melissa seems a good bet and at least Amber has a seemingly real connection to her but the more interesting spouse may be the husband and his connection to the Giudice's case. I'm a bit confused though on how he could mention the case or even be on a reality show with those same connections. I would think that would be a pretty good reason for job termination.
  14. JD has always seemed off to me but not at all in the JB or Smugger way. He seems to not drink the Gothard Kool-Aid unless it somehow benefits him and his interest in guns leans to the paramilitary. He's a whole different TV show happening that we're not viewing.
  15. That's how I remember it too BUT it seemed so off that I thought the story was told wrong. (or Michelle is just nuts)
  16. All this talk about Kristen and the lettuce, didn't she just open a bag? Why would she need to wash it?
  17. Ha! There just was an ad at the top of this page featuring several styles of brown, low heel, ankle t-strap depression era looking shoes. Now that's a really specific cookie or whatever the forum ads do to appear relevant.
  18. @aradia22 ~ You could just watch the First Looks and forget about watching the show. I swear after casually watching the FL that by the time the episode comes on I've forgotten I watched the FL and I'm annoyed because I think I'm watching a rerun.
  19. Vicki had pugs which were in fashion and now goldendoodles are a thing. In the past week I've heard several people say that they were looking into gdoodles so its a popular dog. In fact "papered" mixes are kind of the thing to have for the last several years. I had a basset beagle pound dog that I called a bagel and for a lark I looked it up and that mix is being done by a few breeders too. Who knew.
  20. Oh, I hadn't thought of depression era. The wedding signage and details like the aisle décor looked country chic and I'm pretty sure done by the wedding planner because they looked professionally produced. The Bridesmaids dresses did seem a bit off from that vibe. Is depression era current wedding trend? ;^p
  21. Those sleeves don't look added on but boy the slip does and that should have been the easy part so that's why I don't think the sleeves were added unless two different people worked on the dresses.
  22. Yes, offensive is right and never forget that they are working and voting to take away many of our hard earned personal rights.
  23. I agree red lipstick is hard to wear even if you find your correct shade. It usually makes your teeth look yellow if you haven't whitened them no matter the color of your skin. But have to say when getting it right, its a real winner.
