  1. I'm quoting you but really want to know why Sal doesn't have the dog he wanted with him in CA???
  2. Grandma does seem to spend time staying with Amy and her mom. She's also been spotted filming with them in Nashville. I think she travels and gets out much more then we see but because her adventures just don't add to the Duggar story and she's not a blogger we don't know about it.
  3. He hasn't been on any shows but aspires to be a standup comedian. He's not naïve and comes across as using the show to promote himself with the good guy affable persona. You don't have to have been on a show previously to want to look good and go along with a storyline. This with some help with editing because tptb are invested too gives a false but feel good storyline for these two. Then again it may be totally real but I just get the feeling the Beauty and the Beast story is being pushed because the experts know best.
  4. Oh, I like this one. It hits the Marie Antoinette note while personalizing to Heather's life. Heather really does have a bit of the "let them eat cake" vibe about her all wrapped up in a snooty marzipan bow.
  5. I've been to a few Baptist weddings that were like that because they pretty much invited the entire congregation. They usually do a friends and family meal somewhere else but still not extravagant. So not at all unusual. Hey, I love the "Dill" (if they were dill) pickles. Kind of a hoot if you think about it.
  6. During her speech or toast I started giggling because I thought for sure she was going to pull a Joey Tribbiani wedding toast. I don't remember it exactly but it was a bunch of trite said in slightly different ways but the really the same thing over and over again. Yep, Sonja and Joey have the same toasting skills.
  7. With Doug and Jamie it seems like tptb are re-creating the fairytale of beauty and the beast. Jamie isn't having a hard time playing her part and Doug is doing a pretty good job of being a good guy which maybe he is but maybe not. I can't help but feel the two of them made a pact to further face time with this story for TV time since they both come from a place of knowing how to work reality tv. They'll end up as friends because they know the score. Vaughn's another one that seems to be there for tv time and Monet doesn't see it because a part of her believes in the process. They'll end up hating each other. I'm choosing to take Courtney and Jason at face value so the season won't be a total waste. They'll continue to date for awhile but because their schedules and lives are so different they will decide to break up with some hugs and kisses and a bit of extra paperwork.
  8. Heather really liked LuAnn and challenged Carole to take a second look. Carole did and has said she now likes her. It was either on the show or blogged somewhere.
  9. Thanks @shoegal ~ The mystery (that I created in my own head) of the brown shoes is solved!
  10. @Absolom ~ I wandered over there and didn't see the wedding photos. Tons of Duggar photos and even pixs of the TTH but I couldn't find the wedding.
  11. Your probably right but that brown shoe just seemed suspect to me and seemed to be making a second appearance on a show where the ladies pride themselves on not wearing the same thing multiple times.
  12. I think Jill Zarin had her grubby mitts on this one along with bookgate. Jill and Aviva are behind the scene buddies and that colors how I view Aviva's antics.
  13. I thought she brought her spare too. That brown shoe was the same one the leg was wearing another time and it seemed odd that she would wear the same shoes 2 times. It was just wonky...
  14. I think Sonja confuses "taking a meeting" with actually being a successful business person. Sort of like Romy and Michelle asking for the business woman's lunch and thinking they were business women.
  15. #7 is the last one on YouTube and its been there for awhile. They're pretty funny and tick many of the absurd Duggar buttons.
  16. @Trooper York passing you a shortbread cookie as we continue the small talk here. You validate what I felt about the way reality shows work so thank you for sharing your interesting experiences. [small voice] One thing I've noticed here on PTV is thread drift is frowned upon and sadly I've been an offender of that several times already but at least that I understand it unlike boards on boards. [/sv]
  17. I think the reason some think she may be gone after this season is tptb sat her out for several episodes AND took her out of the opening which has never happened to any wife. She's also given interviews that probably didn't sit well with her bosses either and I get the sense she's all around difficult to work with to the point take no one wants to film with her but Jill Zarin.
  18. I'll take some English Shortbread with that tea and of course names baby, names.
  19. I'm sure the blueprints were to much money and out of their price range. Shades of Casa Sheree.
  20. I wonder what it cost her to rent that apartment. I'm assuming the image consultant, art show items, etc. she hustled up on the free but that apt didn't come cheaply so I'd bet it actually cost her to be on the show this season. Hope it was worth it.
  21. I have three moles on my cheek (think Robert Redford in style) that aren't nearly as big or as high as Doug's and was told the scars would be as noticeable as the moles.
  22. Reports on Gothard's brother, Steve who headed up the Northwoods property in Watersmeet, Michigan, go back to 1976. At that time Bill chose to ignore staff reports. There's a history of abuse reported by Recovering Grace here: http://www.recoveringgrace.org/2014/02/the-scandal-1980/ The Duggars, Bates and the rest of the followers should have been aware that there was an on-going problem under the umbrella of this organization and in particular the family that sits at its head. This gets on my nerves BIG time and always colors anything I see on TV about the Duggar or Bates families.
  23. I just saw the promo/commercial of "the leg" on Bravo and all I could think of was how similar it seemed to RHoNJ "tha book" that Danielle pulled out from under the table which interestingly she later said was put there by production. I'm going with someone planned it and I hope someone pulls back the curtain (or tablecloth) and spills the how. My neighbor has a leg that appears to attach in the same location as Aviva's but his looks like a piece of pvc pipe with a shoe tree attached. Definitely a budget leg that he seems to always being having trouble with, so suck it Aviva and I hope your next pedicure chips.
  24. Is it just me or does Vickie's right hand look like its under Shannon's butt?
