  1. Another great episode. It was an interesting topic and I enjoyed the back story with Henry and his first wife. I wish they would have commented on what happened to her. I'm assuming that the woman (I think she was a nurse) who was shot ended up dying.
  2. I'm so happy the show is back. I've never seen the Little Mermaid or 101 Dalmations, so I really don't have any past opinions of Ursulla or Cruella. However, I watched Maleficent last weekend, so Angelina Jolie's version of Maleficent is fresh in my mind. OUaT's version of Malefient seemed a bit weak compared to the movie version (maybe it was the tone of the actress's voice) and I really don't remember her from her original appearance on the show, so I'm hoping that my opinion will change after an episode or two. The ending with Snow/Charming and Cruella has peaked my interest. I really hope they reveal the back story soon instead of dragging it out until one of the last episodes of the season.
  3. I didn't care much for this episode. I like Amelia, but thought the seminar speeches were a bit much. I'm surprised that this was the first time that Derek's name was brought up during this whole brain tumor story. The final scenes with Arizona and Dr. Herman were very good and I like the mentor/friend relationship that was shown today. I really don't pay attention to spoilers, but having Geena Davis narrate tonight makes me think that this surgery isn't going to go very well.
  4. I really love this show. Although I'm not a fan of the dominatrix lady, I enjoyed the episode. I really liked the flashbacks with Henry and Abigail, and like the others, I really want to know what happened to her.
  5. I thought it was a good episode; it was an interesting topic not including the ripped from the headlines drama. I liked the interactions between Barba and Olivia, and I liked the comments made to Olivia by Barba's mom. I liked that they're starting to use all of the characters in each episode again, although Fin and Amanda weren't shown as much as Amaro and Carisi. I liked Carisi's interaction with the author and his daughter. Based on his interactions with the daughter, especially the first interaction when she mentioned she was in law school and he was asking her more questions, I wouldn't be disappointed if she appeared in another episode.
  6. Our entire family is looking forward to this movie. I hope that it is similar to other Peanuts cartoons and doesn't seem like every other animated movie.
  7. If they have a girl and don't name her Mary, I'd love to see a variation of Mary, such as Marissa, Maria, or Mariah. Although Makenzie is somewhat of a trendy name, I'm glad that they have chosen nice, normal names for their boys instead of jumping on the trendy baby name bandwagon (I'm sure that if one of the younger girls had been a boy, we probably would have seen a Jayden in their lineup LOL).
  8. This was one of the better episodes of the last few seasons. I'm hoping we will get to see Donal Logue again. The other officers, especially Amaro and Fin, had a bit too much fun arresting Carisi.
  9. Love those two together. They sounded like an old married couple. Did not expect that ending, but considering it's SVU, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
  10. I like the Honey Maid wholesome commercials, but there is just something about the one with the divorced parents that irritates me. I don't know if I've been watching too much TLC, but something about the two moms in the commercial gives off a Sister Wives vibe. Maybe it's the slight resemblance between the two women.
  11. Wasn't sure where to post this. There were threads for Halloween and the winter holidays, but nothing for Peanuts as a whole. The Charlie Brown Valentine specials aired tonight on ABC. Even though we have them on dvd, I always have to watch them when they air on tv. I can't help but wonder how people would react to these specials if they were airing for the first time today. Between the Valentine's and Halloween specials, I can't believe how rude those kids are to Charlie Brown. I know it's just a cartoon, but Lucy and the other girls ticked me off when the valentines were handed out, and then to give him a used valentine the following day because they felt guilty. Everyone treated him so horribly compared to how he treated them; he was nothing but nice to everyone.
  12. I didn't love this one, but I didn't hate it. I liked the three cops hanging out together at the convention. Before the case became so gruesome, I thought that the second victim was the one behind the attacks. She made so many comments about her game launching that I thought that she set everything up so that her game launch would get more publicity.
  13. I'm not a fan of Gogurt, but I love the commercial where the father packs the son's lunch and gives him two Gogurts. It cracks me up every time I see it.
  14. Another great episode. I loved the flashback portion with Henry and Abigail on the Orient Express. The present-time story was also good. The chemistry with the cast is great. I love all of the interactions with all of the characters, especially Henry and Abe, Henry and Jo, and Henry and Lucas.
  15. I wish that ABC would promote this like they do the other shows. I watch GMA and the other ABC Daytime talk shows and there is always so much about the Thursday shows and the comedies, but aside from the commercials, I rarely see anything about Forever. It feels like if it's not a Shondra Rimes drama or a Wednesday night comedy, ABC could care less about promoting the show. Considering that Forever is based in NYC and so many daytime shows tape in NYC, you'd think that there would be more appearances by the stars to promote the show.
  16. I have mixed feelings on this. I was a longtime AMC fan and while I'm glad that an AMC actress has found work, I was so tired of RB/Greenlee over the last few years of AMC (including the leaving and returning and then leaving and returning a second time). I'm sure she is a lovely person, but I have no desire to see her on GH. I was so glad that she was nowhere near the AMC Reboot. RB/Greenlee was shoved down our throats so much the last few years (I couldn't enjoy Greenlee/David because it was inevitable that she would end up with Ryan once again) and I could see them shoving her down our throats at GH just like they do with MS/Nina.
  17. Glad to hear that the ratings went up slightly. I really hope that this show makes it to a second season.
  18. I watched both the Kellie Martin and the previous movie. I liked both, but enjoyed the I Do, I Do, I Do movie a bit more. I didn't care about Autumn's character ending up with the other guy; I liked him in the cooking movie that he was in a few months ago. Didn't get a chance to see Cloudy With a Chance of Love yet. It's on the DVR to watch later this week (I watched the Grammys and then a not so good movie that premiered on the Up channel).
  19. I enjoyed the hospital cases in this episode. I enjoyed seeing all of the doctors working together with Meredith's case and I enjoyed the interaction that the doctors (Bailey, Meredith, Maggie, and Amelia) had in the printer room while waiting for the tumor to finish printing. I was surprised to see Meredith call Maggie at the end; when she dialed her phone, I thought it was going to be a quick scene with Derek. The scenes with Callie and Owen seemed out of place. It seemed like they were in there just for the purpose of including the two of them in the episode.
  20. Is it too much to hope for that maybe little Georgie has an ear infection or something minor that sends her to the hospital instead of a major illness?
  21. I watched The Shunning and The Confession on the Hallmark Movie Channel this evening. They were based on books by Beverly Lewis. They were good, but I would have preferred the same actress in both movies. It took a while to get used to the actress in the second movie (while she was good in the movie, it was difficult not to see her as Daphne from Switched at Birth). With two different actresses, I didn't even realize that they were part of a book series until I looked online to see if there were any other books in the series. Since they were based on a trilogy of books, I'm looking forward to if/when the third movie airs, concluding the story.
  22. I enjoyed it. I liked the Massachusetts aspect of it. Although I was aware of Samuel Adams, I had never heard of Joseph Warren prior to this miniseries. My sixth grader is currently learning about the American Revolution in his social studies class, so the timing of this was good (he didn't watch the miniseries but it jogged my memory of the time period). Having lived in the Philadelphia area as a child and living in Southeastern Virginia for the past 25+ years, I have visited the Virginia and Philadelphia sites many times. It makes me want to see some of the New England historical sites in the future.
  23. I enjoyed the series. I wasn't too familiar with the actors with the exception of the ones playing John Adams and Paul Revere. The ending seemed a bit rushed. I would have liked another night to show more of Washington and the war and an epilogue of what became of the main characters after the war.
  24. http://www.fashionnstyle.com/articles/41431/20150117/jana-duggars-terror-19-kids-and-counting-star-terrified-shell-live-life-alone-after-spending-her-days-as-a-surrogate-parent-to-siblings.htm Interesting article about Jana.
  25. Riptide by Vance Joy also has a reference to Michelle Pfeiffer.
