I took her "Did you REALLY?" as an excellent piece of shade. It looks more like something JB made himself than anything a decent jeweler would put together.

S11.E11: The Men Tell All (Kaitlyn Edition)

Juan Pablo and Nick Viall, most recently. The men in this show have not been exempt from internet commentary some would term "cyber bullying." -
S11.E11: The Men Tell All (Kaitlyn Edition)

Considering some of the things they've edited out that we saw on TMTA - smelling feet, picking her nose, hiding in Shawn and Ben's room, all the Nick ridiculousness etc. I agree that she's received as good an edit as she could get. Blame the producers all you want for the alleged "slut shaming," but she gave them the footage to do so. I've said from day one I've found her behavior crass and tasteless, and nothing has changed in that regard. I judge her by the same standard I judge the men on this show, and I find it a double standard when that criticism is fine, but when it's leveled at a woman, it suddenly becomes taboo. -
I'm pretty sure everyone knows some strident people on Facebook. I don't think liberals or conservatives have a corner on that market.

Chris Soules final two were both good choices - I liked Becca and Whitney.

And he'd probably make some tasteless joke about it being a "Chinese restaurant." -
That sounds delicious! I'm a sucker for good custard and that flavor sounds very interesting.

Poll Time: How Do You Want the Season to End?
anony mouse replied to Rhondinella's topic in The Bachelorette
Yesssss. This is the ending I want! -
Hey, she may be fake, but she at least was classy with that announcement.

The only complementarian marriage I can think of in the Bible is the Proverbs 31 wife, where she's kicking butt and taking names with her vineyard and cloth making so her husband can be a busy village elder. But a lot of Christians use that passage to pressure women to stay at home and somehow try and live up to this impossible, fantasy ideal of June Cleaver motherhood.

The Lonely Js Club: Jana, Jason, James, Jackson & Johannah

I'm guessing it's Lynda Byrd Johnson Robb, as she is the daughter of Lyndon Johnson and is married to the former governor of Virginia. There could be other possibilities, but of recent president's kids, she's the only First Lady I can think of. -
Poll Time: How Do You Want the Season to End?

I voted other because I just want Chris Harrison to send them all home. This season has been so terrible. No one wins. -
That was a quick announcement. I wonder if they are trying to keep people from jumping ship on the whole franchise after this season. Don't they usually wait to announce this?

In other places around the net I've seen him nicknamed Charming Potatohead and that really seems apt. He's not the most conventionally attractive in the face, but that golden retriever personality does a lot to boost his appeal.

Josh & Anna Smuggar: A Series of Unfortunate Events
anony mouse replied to maraleia's topic in Counting On
Or in Jim Bob's mind, he thinks he knows better. I really don't think Josh had any control over them. I certainly don't think he asked them to go try and do spin interviews. Josh did it all right when the news first broke. If they had retained that PR firm and kept JB and Michelle off the interview circuit, they'd be in a better position now, and not just from a civil suit perspective. -

Yes, exactly. A client running to the media to apologize or justify is a lawyer's worst nightmare. -

I heard the longer second toe means you have a higher chance of having twins. -
Who knew? I didn't realize it had an Amish connection - although I guess I should have with the "Dutch" name. I thought Dutch was just like Egyptian (or Indian) war (you know, the game with the slapping) - a country name to denote a game variant. I didn't think the Amish played cards, though.

It's funny how we all look at pictures differently. To me, her face didn't look sweet at all - I saw a gritted teeth smile and eyes that say "I am sick of being dilated 3 cm!" To me she looks more than ready to get that baby out of there! I think a lot of times, how we interpret a picture is influenced by our own experiences, even with the photo "evidence" in front of us. Jessa does have big feet. I'd never noticed that before. -

Poor Anna! She looks super uncomfortable. -
Yeah, Igloo Australia seems to be struggling at the game. I heard her tour was canceled, too?

Looks like Dutch Blitz, which is a regular card game.

Could cosmetology school in Canada be longer? Also, do you specialize? Perhaps she was awful at cutting his hair because she went for skincare? I think she was drunk and botched his hair on purpose, which makes it worse.
