I too almost deleted, but out of boredom watched and was pleasantly surprised. As previously stated by all, this is what I hoped for in this show. This season was the absolute worse. Virtue signaling, non stop millennial lectures, everything I hate in women (Madison) and men (Austen), focus on Katherine's dysfunction. What a contrast on Dani. She looked ill this season, and beautiful in the Secrets. And who knew she has an interesting backstory. And Leva. What an interesting story she could have had. Yet we were stuck with this side of her. Sorry to say, won't be able to give her a pass. She behaved and agreed to be filmed as the entitled shit stirring SJW, committed to righting the wrongs of society and immature, uneducated , dysfunctional Katherine. Nothing I've seen of Madison interests me. Enjoy Whitney, understand why he doesn't film much with this group, aged out. Glad I didn't delete.

I watched the Wendy biopic(?), not movie, this weekend. I am interested in peoples lives and how they react to life's curve balls. I found the facts of Wendy's life very interesting, and admire her early drive and spirit and ability to carve a niche for herself in such a competitive market. Also battling the weight issue with herself and her parents. Her family seem very healthy, balanced, accepting, loving. What a contrast to her lying on her couch with the leg lymph machine, emotionally emoting and dabbing her eyes. I can't get this image out of my head. Either she has totally embraced victimhood, or she has lost all of her self esteem and perspective. I was disgusted with those scenes. She could have pulled herself together (as we all have to do) and presented herself much better. Like, film when you are feeling better, not on the leg machine, not laying on the couch, for one. I possibly would have had more respect and empathy for her had this been done. Her relationship with Kevin is quite the life lesson for women. Arrogance is not strength. How he treated other people came back to bite her. Giving up all of her power and allowing Kevin to do life's dirty work, freeing her to be just "talent", rarely works out well. In theory is sounds so perfect, doesn't it. But then factor in ego and insecurity, and you get the shit show. I understand the gradual drain of being attached to a spirit sucking Kevin, while balancing a public persona and "family" fantasy. It is interesting that she lived with his disrespect as long as she did, and allowed it to get to the level of a child with the mistress before she cut the cord. Resulting in loss of health, finances, reputation, lifestyle, quality of work. After all that work building a life and career, to end up like this. Sad. I honestly hope someday, she gets good therapy.

I re watched ep 7 & 8, Shannon during the vow renewal. What a mess. If she's not pounding the alcohol, she's talking about alcohol. Talking about not bringing it to the reception, so we need to drink before we go, oh lets have another one and bring it with us while we walk to the reception hall. They get to the door, and she says can we bring it in? John says, they won't know what's in it and in they go. One scene has her ordering 3 vodka's.
