  1. I'm sure it's TLC editing, but the comment Robyn said in the clip from next week - I shouldn't be with him that much - made me slightly hopeful that the karma gods are out of covid lockdown and itching to get to work.
  2. Their lifestyle is a joke. And now we have proof. And we have Kody Brown to thank. Kody Brown's plyg is not evil like the Warren Jeffs plyg. But unless you are a climber like Robyn, who the heck wants to live like this? If this show is "real" and not scripted, it sure is an unhealthy and weird interpretation of a "Principle" that has been exposed to the public. If this show is "scripted" Kody Brown has co-opted his beloved "Principle" for the almighty dollar.
  3. This show confirms my wish for Kody & Robyn to be quarantined together for life and J/C/M on without them. Robyn and Kody need to shut up more. Robyn on the couch: "I wonder how other polygamist families are dealing with this?? Really idiot, just plyg families?? Go back to St George!
  4. If I was Meri and have so much invested on participating in this Kody show, I would stay for the dough . . . with a caveat. If the show needs Meri, I would make that clown Kody act like he doesn't loathe me on camera and pick on somebody else. This scripted high school play is what it is. If we can spot the gaslighting, editing, and mixed messages, they obviously have some control over what is filmed. Of all the 4 "wives", she's in the best spot. While Robyn is both the legal winner of that prize Kody Brown and currently resides in the Brown Mansion, it is Meri who has the most freedom, income potential and investment in her future. Kody himself said he wants to disassociate legally from future joint real estate deals. Kody should be kissing her ass less hostile. She appears beat up emotionally so she probably can't do it, but if she said no more or I walk, they may stop filming his disrespect. Nobody wants to watch this anymore. We get it Kody, she bruised your oh so fragile ego. His continued verbal mantra about the "family" is hollow as we watch it evaporate, while he continues to lose his grip along with his goldilocks.
  5. Shannon does not appear emotionally healthy to me, so I am choosing to believe this was a passive/aggressive scud missile to the happy parents in the first place. If not, why run to Page Six when the Walmart filming mother failed to acknowledge the gift . . . or ever. Shannon could have had the girls get a baby gift for the new Beador and stay out of it. These 3 deserve each other.
  6. How thirsty are these two women? https://pagesix.com/2021/03/26/david-beadors-wife-finally-opens-shannons-baby-gift/ David Beador’s wife, Lesley Cook, mysteriously found his ex-wife Shannon Beador’s baby gift hours after Page Six reported she had rejected the present.
  7. After watching all these dumb shows, Avery for the win in this category. Each outfit was beautiful. Wonder if she chose them herself or had help. She seemed completely comfortable both wearing the clothing and embracing his culture. Avery's attitude and Omar's path to dentistry put them both in a unique category amongst their peers on this show.
  8. Now that I’m bored and doing a deep dive, what’s Robyn’s back story? Sisters, brothers, parents. I found a weird IMBD page that has to be a punk, first husband Jessop's family is plyg royalty and his mother is Christine's Aunt, but not interested in plyg lifestyle and according to her Purity Speech, had a shotgun wedding. She states she grew up in the lifestyle but unlike the other wives, what do we know about her mother's story and her rise to the top. Anyone with four last names, 2 husbands, 5 kids, lands on this shitshow and an IMBD page without living in Los Angeles at 42 has to have some good stories.
  9. Me too. This will be the real show, which will never be filmed. Now that they've lived the high life, how could the Brown's ego ever adjust to a serious downsize. I'm a saver which is one of the reasons this show intrigues me. Nothing I have seen has given me a reason to believe they are making wise financial decisions, now or for their future. Meri is the only one that may come out of this in the black. The stories of back taxes owed, multiple bankruptcies, real/unreal business's, love affair with MLM's, lack of job related skill sets, and Kody's financial impulsivity. Using bankruptcy as their go to, really pisses me off and fuels my wish for a swift and strong karma. "the Brown family makes a little less than $400k per year; a reported net worth of $800K" https://www.distractify.com/p/how-much-do-sister-wives-earn "Kody and his first wife Meri filed joint bankruptcy in 2005. Kody and Meri was ordered to pay $187,885.74 to their creditors and attorneys. Janelle also filled in 1997, and third wife Christine did likewise in 2010." https://heavy.com/money/2019/01/sister-wives-kody-brown-net-worth/
  10. The fifth season of The Real Housewives of Melbourne has been delayed yet again. Original cast member Janet Roach told Ticker TV's Jumpstart this week that filming was scheduled to resume in July, but has now been pushed back until January, 2021. Jun 11, 2020 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-8409035/The-Real-Housewives-Melbourne-wont-resume-filming-JANUARY.html
  11. http://cynicaljinxwelcome.blogspot.com/2014/01/sister-wives-browns-in-crisis-s06ep16.html "For some reason, Kody felt it was necessary to explain why the car shopping segment with Mariah was not shown. All I can say is Thank Goodness for that!!" Kody's tweet Jan 26, 2014 "We shot car shopping experience at Lexus of Las Vegas for used Toyota. The scene was cut because so many other things happened. Kody Brown (@realkodybrown)"
  12. Episode 1 of this season. The lunch meeting. Janelle opens up the Brown can of emotional worms, gets thrown under the bus by Meri's demure silence. Immediately The Dark Queen starts lip quivering, fake crying, looks at Janelle and asks are you referring to me joining the family? Janelle jumps up from her chair, like she's working out at their fantasy Fitness Center, goes over to her saying no, no, no, while hugging and comforting her. Never let an opportunity go to waste. Well played Queen of Darkness.
  13. I watched an older episode about Kody's birthday. The wives chipped in and got him a mac laptop. His response was a disappointing, "I wanted something fun-now I have to go to work", clearly bumming out the wives. Then he was disappointed that they were disappointed. High maintenance, this guy.
  14. "And it seems Uncle Beau is very much over the drama between the tumultuous pair. He answered wholeheartedly, “I’m really hoping so, I pray to God, yes,” when asked whether he thought Mike and Natalie’s relationship was permanently over." I'm with Uncle Beau!
  15. https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/1080734/sister-wives-christine-brown-new-business-raise-money-daughter-surgery-money-issues/ "The Sun can exclusively reveal Kody Brown’s third wife, Christine, 48, filed CBrown Quest, LLC on May 15, 2020 with the Arizona Corporation Commission. The business description is “any legal purpose.” The place of business is the Flagstaff, Arizona home she shares with her husband. Christine launched the new business amid her daughter’s medical crisis. In June, Christine revealed she raised $25,000 for her daughter’s upcoming surgery by selling LuLaRoe clothing." What could "CBrown Quest" be and what does "business description is any legal purpose” mean. Interesting time to be starting a business. The link below states "She also launched a legal business called CBrown Quest, LLC." Because it said "legal business", I thought PrePaid Legal, of Jodi Arias fame, due to its MLM connection and the Brown's love affair with MLM's. "In 1983 Prepaid Legal Services adopted the MLM (or pyramid style marketing) approach that it's known for today. MidOcean Partners purchased Prepaid Legal in 2011 and in September of that year, they became Legal Shield." https://www.the-sun.com/entertainment/1221794/sister-wives-kody-brown-millions-new-arizona-life-family-financial-issues/ Found this: https://www.thehollywoodgossip.com/2020/07/meri-brown-i-dont-miss-kody-not-one-bit/ "And that's ... all we know about it. We know the name and nothing more. There is nothing mentioned in the filing about the company it in terms of its domain – entertainment, retail, etc." https://ecorp.azcc.gov/PublicBusinessSearch/PublicBusinessInfo?entityNumber=23086637
  16. Yeah but we all saw it, and his behavior was so horrific it is burned into our brains. The real question is, why are they editing?
  17. One of the many problems created by Kody's perpetual chaos is, it appears, there is no "designated time". At least according to Christine. Apparently we are supposed to believe his pop ins, when and if they happen, are enough to sustain plyg adult and child relationships. I guess that works if one is afflicted with stockholm syndrome, are checked out, leading a double life, and/or using or manipulating the pop in. Healthy people cannot live a healthy life in a state of chaos. Which is one of Kody Brown's super powers. His comment this season about not believing in polygamy anymore is very interesting. Why would he say this after publicly touting this stupid, disrespectful lifestyle for years? Could he be saying this as a result of the separate housing? That can't be, he doesn't even like 3 of them or their housing. He only has this show and that Flagstaff Palace with the queen because of polygamy. Rewatching previous seasons is like watching a different show. I wish they would live in one house, or TLC ditches Kody and the queen, and gives us the ExSisterWives of Kody Brown.
  18. Never a big fan of Tinsley, (her dramatics, lack of taking emotional care of herself, creepy pixie screaming bugged me, wedding dress shopping with no wedding) but Dorinda's targeted and escalating darkness minimized her princess immaturity to me. Her "friendship" with elite, intelligent Carole never made sense to me, as they appeared polar opposites, unless it was superficial, fake for the show, or a predator move on Carole's part. Then we were privy to the Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice Carole & Adam & Tinsley & Scott storyline, and my skepticism was put on hold. Until the reunion and Carole's cold dismissal of Tinsley. I enjoyed Carole during the early seasons. Looks like Tinsley was a safe place to land after the Bethenny landmine exploded and her friendship with Tinsley was nothing more than a means to an end.
  19. Was Robyn always the dark queen or did she grow into that role? I ask because her early years showed someone with a little spirit, smiled, wanted to be part of the "team". (I guess you could say this about all of them to an extent.) So was she always an opportunist, and her Lehi personality a cover to be unleashed when the time was right, emboldened by Kody's blind devotion. For someone that gets what she wants, she sure does not look happy or healthy. Season after season she touted how important her sister wives relationships are to her. Currently, her dour mug and dead attitude exudes Let Them Eat Cake.
  20. So what exactly is she insinuating? That this was forced? If not forced or rufi'd, I was under the impression it took two to lose one's purity. And then have two more kids with the rat that stole her purity. Guess she wants to remove herself from any responsibility on the act of losing. I'm embarrassed for myself trying to figure out these cartoon characters.
  21. Thanks for bringing this up LK. I too was gobsmacked by the number of "collectibles" hoarded by frugal Robyn. Not a space to be seen. The massive amount loaded into those not cheap cabinets represent more of a problem than a hobby. Who even looks at those things. This from the woman who never had a crib for her first three kids. Kody and Robyn are HORRIBLE with money. Pretty obvious they believe this gravy train will chug along for a spiritual eternity. Blown away with that house. Like Kody would stay in Janelle's affordable housing with kids who do not "worship" him. I think Gabe should narrate the rest of the episodes.
  22. That's what I thought watching his histrionic plan to give it to the man State of Utah. Super Victim/Vindictive Man Kody Brown wants REVENGE on Utah for all the wrongs those Mormons have inflicted on all the innocent plygs. He'll show them. They made him move is family to Las Vegas making him get stuck on the freeway for hours, in the dead of night like gypsy's, with three flat tires. He will go out of his way to get him one of those plyg tickets and then those Mormons better look out. He'll sue. And win. And it all will be filmed and added to the Kody Kronicles. And Robyn will cry.
  23. I wish I could blame 2020 for the portrayal of these two this season. (Actually, all of these couples, and one set of parents, are in need of varying degrees of psychiatry, meds, or at least a good friend who can say don't go on this show, the moneys not worth it, it won't be a good look and you will never get your reputation back.) I'd rather see the lunatics Angela, Lisa and Big Ed than ever see this split personality psycho with the grating voice and her passive aggressive lump of a fantasy boyfriend. These two have been seriously disturbing to watch. The editing sucked, they sucked, their "story" sucked. The jerk coldly, finally gives her the gd ring again, she chastises him on how he did it, they fake happily go to the bedroom and next scene we get, the psycho is back, in hysterics. No explanation from TLC. Only the torture of listening to her. And her instagram cooking show in the non trailer kitchen. I don't know what's up with these two but honestly hope this is the last we see them on the small screen, and they are stuck together for eternity with the gossip rags leaking their miserable life.
