  1. Hey Savannah, cross country skiing is alot more fun. Miss it!
  2. you forgot in include "both undergrad and masters" (Jan 15 2021) Yet we saw chipper Mariah, plopped on Meri's Flagstaff couch, announce her plans to transfer her Loyola credits to Utah. (Mar 14, 2021) And the crowd cheered with glee. Why oh why do these people say and put shit in writing that is so easily contradictory to previous behavior and pronouncements. Dear Santa, I've been very good last year staying isolated, social distancing, wearing a friggin mask, stress eating and drinking carbs like its my last meal. All I wanted was a thread to post all the Inconsistencies of my new BFF's the Kody Brown fambly. I don't have the maturity to tell them in person, afraid they will all go passive/aggressive on me and force me to wear Lularoe out in public. Oh well, I'll continue to keep the growing list in my head and random post notes around the four walls I've been sentenced to live in. Oh hey, how Brown of me! I was only thinking of myself. You've been isolated too!! Hope to see you next year, if we ever get our life back. Your brain dead friend, itsadryheat
  3. University of Utah has a Social Justice program/degree?
  4. During the course of my trip down the Sister Wives memory lane, the effect Kody's Chaos has on the kids, specifically the older kids, has intensified. Going public with their lifestyle for the greater good, resulting in paparazzi attention, bad guys plotting to possibly send Kody to jail and splitting and sending the family to parts unknown, generating a growing Fear. S2 depicts the events leading up to, and the frenzied move to Las Vegas. Tough to watch the kids reactions. Why didn't he just move to Las Vegas and let the family stay put until this was resolved? To think this guy thought it was a good idea "for the family" to sneak 5 adults and 16 kids out of town like they are in witness protection is insane. Fast forward, and he does it again. Not because of the bad guy cops, but the bad guys holding the mortgages on their LV houses. Why was this move rushed? Couldn't see that date coming up Kody? Refinancing not an option to ya Big Guy. Worked for me in the past. No wonder these adult kids hit the ground running out of there as soon as they could. And then this delusional guy comes up with the plan to build the Brown Marriott outside of Flagstaff where "Flagstaff's housing expenses are 43% higher than the national average and the utility prices are 3% higher than the national average. Transportation expenses like bus fares and gas prices are 2% higher than the national average." Like he needs something that immense to live in when most of kids are gone, and "maybe" coming back for holidays. If the Brown tribe does come back to visit en masse, rent a Large Resort facility, like companies do for retreats. 5 adults living in a Jeff Bezos house is crazy. Not surprised he gravitated towards a life of Plyg. Lots of opportunity for creating chaos when there are so many moving parts. Re-watching his shenanigans, I understand the benefit of checking out like Janelle. We saw what happens when you try to pushback during the group Covid phone call. What a big victim baby. Hard to imagine living a life with this guy. Doesn't really fit in with this post, (hoping if I put it in writing, it will permanently leave my head) but his dancing performance at one of the wedding venues shows everything you need to know about the maturity of Kody Brown.
  5. I've been watching the older seasons. Completed S2 yesterday. As a result of going public, the powers are looking into them for bigamy and the fear over takes them. One episode, they escape to Wyoming. I had forgotten that Janelle's mother, a nurse, turned plyg with Kody's parents. So we have Janelle married to Meri's brother, ditched the brother for Meri's husband, and Janelle's mom joining Kody's parents. Interestingly weird.
  6. Gotta Save Mariah was hilarious. Meri rilly needed to breathe in a bag. Her lovely daughter has been barking orders to the masses via instagram for years. Yet Meri has to "save" her 25 year old Social Justice Warrior. How's that gonna look to General Mariah's followers - "I know I've been telling you how to live, what to do and how to think, but I'm too snowflakey to put shit in my car and drive to my mommy's house". As much as Chaos Kody get's on my nerves, he was right about this one.
  7. Again, Andrea and her Gossip Girls for my win. Ghanian Queen Andrea saying her Watts rooftop party represents her: elegance, luxurious vegan, spiritual. Immediately, Gossip Girl pink eye shadow chimes in how they are concerned about her mode of dress without the garments and she can see how LA can change people. Our Ghanian Birthday Queen flips the script on the Girls by asking when was the last time they gave a family in need groceries. Sister Pink gives the world’s current go to answer for failing to do something: COVID. In the background, doing their best impression of Statler and Waldorf, Tenneson and Nyla silently watch the grownups, while Tenneson slowly eats a cupcake. And the look on Lamar's face. Ghanian Queen asks them, "do you have fear walking to your mailbox?". She says yes. Queen (and me too) is blown away that she said yes. They argue a bit and Girl pink says "I have fear walking to my mailbox . . . because I’m out of shape and it’s a F**** mile to my mailbox" Then the apology and all is well on the roof and everyone sits own for a kumbaya celebration. The script at the end said the Gossip Girls will also be going to Ghana with Andrea. This was awesome!
  8. Christine was the first to list her LV house for sale, but was last to sell. How was she able to buy her Flagstaff house without selling the LV house first?
  9. "YESCO designs and builds custom signs, digital LED boards, gaming displays, outdoor billboards, spectacular skyline signs and interior displays."
  10. These five people are all passive aggressive and horrible communicators. She said he just pops in, they never know when he's coming, and disrupts whatever they had planned. How hard is this to fix? Make a schedule or an advanced, respectful heads up. They are all checked out on the "relationships" and are unwilling to put in the hard work to address and fix things that are keeping them apart.
  11. Watching reruns. New drinking game: Take a drink every time Kody says "I".
  12. Do you mean Alldredge? If so, is Christine related to Jeff Allredge, Sharis Alldredge, Vanessa Alldredge of Seeking Sister Wife? I read somewhere that Aspyn's husband Mitch also has some Allredge in him. Looks like the plygs have discovered a new MLM, Reality TV.
  13. Just remembered another interesting part of S1 episodes. Christine is over the top with her wispery, authoritarian, expert all things plyg voice during the group and talking head scenes. She sounds like she got the lead in a high school play for the first time. Oh wait . . . she is in a high school play!!
  14. Ha! Funny! We saw/heard J and C attempt to get a license. We also saw another realtor in Las Vegas suggesting repairs to Christine's house and also a realtor in Flagstaff. Again, who knows what's real. Seriously doubt Janelle did anything in Flagstaff as her license would have been in Nevada and I think Christine decided she didn't want to work on weekends. Gotta love these go getters!!
  15. https://religionnews.com/2017/06/20/10-reasons-mormons-dominate-multi-level-marketing-companies/ 10 reasons Mormons dominate multi-level marketing companies Utah leads the nation in multi-level marketing companies per capita, and many Mormons are heavily involved in MLM culture. Guess you can take the Plyg's out of the Mormons, but you can't take the MLM's out of the Plyg's.
  16. They all looked better in the beginning of this show. The only one that hasn't lost most of their look is Kody. But this is destroyed as he reeks of anger and frustration.
  17. I have to revise my previous comment. Thanks to Panda's suggestion, I was able to watch a few episodes of S1. What I saw was regular Janelle. The very pretty Janelle I saw on the Natalie Morales Special appears to be the creation of NBC's hair and makeup. They do great work. Anyone think they make house calls? I could use a session😊
  18. Thanks Panda!!! I'll give it a try. The S1 Special I watched last night was very interesting. They had energy, were hopeful and positive. They looked fresh. I was taken by Janelle's face-she was very pretty. Unfortunate she couldn't get a handle on that pesky weight and she'd be a stunner. Robin also was very attractive. Christine was full on plyg cheerleader and Meri didn't make me want to put bag over her head. The years and Kody Chaos have taken their toll on the wives. Kody was the same bot he always was. His once love tank is now filled with anger, frustration and defeat. They showed a clip of Meri and Kody on the beach in Mexico or Hawaii and it looked like to me they were enjoying an umbrella drink, sans umbrella. Link worked Panda!! Thank You. Excited to watch!!
  19. "every plate I own is in the dishwasher or the sink" Seriously Janelle, rather that wash a dish or press a button, you grab a paper plate? What cha doin' all day???? Yuck.
  20. Does the app work on the computer or just phone? Not a fan of viewing on the really small screen, can tolerate the medium screen. Can't keep up with the growing number of streaming options and to lazy to do the research and math on cutting the satellite cord and going all roku/hulu/amazon prime/apple tv/youtube tv/peacock/disney/hbo max/netflix/sling/cbs all access/etc. I'm on my last nerve getting nickel and dimed with my health insurance after paying a fortune for the premiums. The thought of this torture going on with frickin' tv is too much for my brain to handle. I chose to lower my expectations, keep the cord, and go retro and read books. So strange DISH wouldn't offer S1 with On Demand, yet have everything else. I thought about calling, but doubt they would have an informative answer or give me an answer that sounds like Meri and Kody speak.🤪
  21. Where did you watch Season 1? I tried last night to find out DISH ripped me off, lol. Only two shows, reunion and a special - no episodes. All the other seasons, but not S1.
  22. https://people.com/tv/sister-wives-kody-and-meri-brown-open-up-about-their-distant-marriage-its-dead-its-over/ I watched this episode, heard the conversations and comments, but reading them really shows what poor communicators these two are. Hard to believe they've been together so long, communicating like this, so I choose to believe it is by design, deliberate. Like this from Kody re Meri's lot: "Last spring, the family "got into a squabble," according to Kody "because it turned out that there was a bunch of confusion." He explained to cameras: "I got in trouble for being the one that manipulated everybody into places and I did not do that. That made me look like an ass---- and an idiot." Granted Meri is playing games, but Kody confirms there was confusion, he didn't manipulate, and he looked like an ass and idiot. Huh? How can you be an ass and an idiot if you didn't do anything. Or his comments re Meri: "My relationship with Meri is at best just distant and amicable," told "You know, I could buck up ... be tough about it, but I'm not interested in it." "For all my marriage with Meri, I've felt like she unloads her emotions into a burden that I am supposed to carry. I'm not carrying this burden. 'Cause there's no reason that I should." "I haven't put relationship effort into that relationship specifically because I have three other relationships that are rewarding and wholesome and with children that need me, need to see me." The last statement really is gold. Isn't that what the plyg lifestyle is? Children that need me, need to see me? His relationships with his children have been sorely lacking in episodes, minimal depth and interest during interactions, and at best, seem obligatory or staged for the camera. Back to the lot issue. Meri: "I get what he was doing. He was trying to give me what he thought that I wanted. But I never said I wanted it." "Moving forward, she still remained uncertain about what she wanted. "I love the trees. I don't know that I want to have a house in the trees," Yikes. Lots of words, no meaning. I get Kody's frustration and disinterest with Meri, but, how hard would it have been to say, "Make a choice, or I will for you" instead of just assigning one to her, resulting in more of her sulking and games. Tough to watch, these two.
  23. Remember in the beginning we would get scenes of the entire Brown family together for their religious service? Haven't seen a scene like that in years, at least since the move to Flagstaff. Viewers were led to believe this is an important part of their lifestyle; at a minimum a reason to bring them together, a bonding event to solidify the family. Good job Kody. We are in agreement that you are the main reason for the most of the tension. Building something is easier than managing it, and obviously maintaining this lifestyle is above your paygrade.
  24. Tried to watched Season 1 via Dish On Demand. Weird they had all the seasons except Season 1. They only had the S1 Special with Natalie Morales. This was more fun to watch with my Season 10 eyes. Time has not been good to them, visually. From fresh faced to worn out/beat up. My how Christine's attitude changed, from cheerful zealot to angry and isolated. Morales asked an interesting question about their finances and health insurance, which they uncomfortably dodged. They did share that one of the kids had to have an emergency appendectomy (?) that cost them, I think they said/don't quote me, a "years wages" and that they make payments; Janelle chimed in they are the experts at making payments.
  25. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/famed-erin-brockovich-lawyer-tom-013305338.html Famed ‘Erin Brockovich’ Lawyer Tom Girardi Loses Law License Tom Girardi, the real-life “Erin Brockovich” attorney and husband to “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Erika Jayne, has lost his law license as the apparent result of an ongoing conservatorship case.
