  1. I thought Bill had that talk show America Now. Is that over? I don't thinK I've ever seen it but I thought it was some kind of morning talk show.
  2. Extra reporting that Barbara is back running the morning meeting for the show. She took what, 3 weeks off? Also reporting that Rosie is being considered for a return. I am happy to hear of the end of Jenny and to be honest, if they'd can Sherri too, I'd take a year of Bethenny (that voice!) I don't understand why Bethenny would want to tie herself down to a show again. Her schtick after her show was cancelled was that she learned that it was "too restrictive" and she wants to work for Barbara and Gedde? Crazy.
  3. I thought Kathy was a great guest--it was clear he really enjoyed her.
  4. Oy with the hats again. I wonder if Noelle ever thinks about the fact that Scott is hiding his money from his ex-wife---and she wants to be his future wife......
  5. aiiiiiI! Blurred or not I can't unsee Brooks and Vicki's naked turnover on the massage table. Ew. Shannon: Word of advice. You know how rule number 1 of Fight Club is ...you don't talk about Fight Club? Rule number 1 of the OC is you don't trust Tamra. I'm flip flopping on whether Heather is getting something extra out of the edit she's getting or if she is just dumb. She seems to be playing into the dramatist's hands and everything she is involved in this season seems to piss someone off. Not sure if she's acting, or just fumbling into their hands.
  6. Interesting article here about Caleb. http://www.onlinebigbrother.com/big-brother-16-caleb-reynolds-racist-homophobic-comments-found-on-instagram/?utm_source=feedly&utm_reader=feedly&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=big-brother-16-caleb-reynolds-racist-homophobic-comments-found-on-instagram
  7. From what I've read, Lu's status was changed due to holding out and missing some of the filming, but I have also read that Bravo was not happy with her because she filmed the rest of the season, THEN let it be known that she and Jacques were over, so it could not be part of this season's storyline.
  8. Donny looks like a Duck Dynasty cast member. And the guy who wants to play with integrity and morals? Has he seen Big Brother?
  9. I watched the "Making Of" special for this show on HBO last night and I'm really looking forward to it. My favorite part was the very energetic physicist they had on talking about all the possible reasons for the rapture.
  10. I think mainly TLC reality stars do the yearly fake vow renewal, right up til they get the divorce. Cue the Gosselins.
  11. I don't trust CBS....Why are they taking 2 shows before the Live Feeds? I feel like they are going to spring some coaches or something on us.
  12. Ok, i went back and watched my recording after work--here is what she said exactly: 2 Houseguests win HOH each week Each HOH noms 2 so 4 total on the block each week. For the first time—just because you are HOH doesn’t mean you are safe. New competition called “Battle of the Block”. Viewers involved in new interactive twist called Team America.
  13. I did read that we get to give them tasks like season 1--I want them to clean the damn house once a week. Those people last season were pigs. Instead of them lounging in bed all day, get up and do the dishes or mop the floor and THEN we let you in the storage room for food. The decor is usually pretty cheap and bad but it is depressing by the last month when it's filthy on top of ugly.
  14. Too darn many heartwarming performers way too early. I watch this show for the freaks and geeks in the early part. They've gotten soft.
  15. I didn't think Lester was fleeing in fear. When he drove up on that wall of cops, I thought he did what he'd been doing for the whole past year of his life (and it worked out for him a bunch of times) I took it that he went off in the opposite direction, with the idea that if he could just get past this little speed bump, he'd figure a way to get away. That's what he did every time he was in a tight spot--he never had a big picture plan--he would just make a leap, and if he made it, he'd figure out the next step. This time it didn't work out, and I know it was probably spring so the ice was thinner and melting, but I love the idea that the weak spot he fell through was the one they dug with the auger in a previous episode. That would be so fitting. Somehow I have an image of Lester swimming under the ice looking for a spot to surface, as he runs out of air. When they called Molly, they had not found his body yet, so who knows?
  16. Julie just talked about the twist on The Talk. I will have to rewatch to get all of it--but there will be 2 HOH's each week each get to nom 2. Just because you are HOH doesn't mean the other HOH can't nom you. And something we get to vote about--I got so distracted by the multi HOH's and being able to be a nominee AND HOH I couldn't keep up. It made me dizzy.
  17. Gus killing Malvo had to happen---it is his redemption. If he had been a better cop with more credibility, he might have made his original arrest of Malvo in Duluth stick long enough for them to piece his history together. As it was, he was a weak cop, and his supervisors immediately dismissed him and believed Malvo and let him go, and Gus had no options--he let Malvo go at the original traffic stop, he couldn't make his arrest stick when he DID bring him in. This time he had to end it himself--for Greta, and for Molly. He knew Molly would not stick at the Police station. If Malvo got away, she'd probably be in the thick of it again. If he had called in finding Malvo's house right in the beginning, Malvo was already on his way and they only had the Bimidji cops and Budge and Pepper to go after him--it was early morning, he'd ditched the red car for the black one....the best they could have hoped for was more cops would have flocked to Lester's--but they were not great cops--so more people might have been killed or hurt. I think Gus had to end it with his own hands and he knew it. I think Colin Hanks did an amazing job with a very difficult character. Gus can be percieved as weak and not effective--but this was his chance to redeem himself--to make sure his girls would be ok, and to end this threat, and he did it. If he had picked up Malvo that first time, the list of dead would have been much shorter, and every step of the way, Malvo won out, and more people died.
  18. Oh my god, there were so many moments where I literally jumped and yelled during this episode. Gus was the heart of this show I thought it was Molly all along, but it was really Gus all along---he faced his fear, and he made things right in the end. I loved how both Gus and Lou thought of their daughters every time they were faced with something scary. Simply great onscreen death for Lorne, and Lester was like the ever-ready bunny--he never freaking gave up. The bear trap was brilliant. OMG, the agents names were Pepper and Budge? Seriously--those two were awesome. Every character had a good moment tonight---the chief realizing a quiet mind is worth more to him than the boss's job. The car salesman saying "I'm sorry" when it is too late to the agents. Gus...omg Gus...for some reason when he was circling Malvo's house I was sure we were going to see a wood-chipper out back. I loved Lou sitting all night on Molly's porch with his shotgun. Wonderful finale--just perfect. I wish I knew what happened to the Grocery King and his ransom but otherwise I'm highly satisfied.
  19. These are just real small town people for the most part and the cops are just your small town neighbors and family. In small towns like this--things really ARE like they were for Gus--you want a nice steady job, you look at Post Office, or Police, or Fire Department--it's considered a really decent living. Yes you carry a gun, and you do training, but for them most part, they don't deal with real crime like this--and this is way beyond their experience. You pass the training but would you really be prepared to deal with a Malvo? Or even really a Lester? I wouldn't be, and I live in a small town like this, and I grew up in another one. You get a Vern or Molly or Lou every so often who has "it"--the instincts and the leadership but the regular guys are just that--regular guys.
  20. Here's another article on selling the San Tropez house. http://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2014/06/sonja-morgan-forced-to-sell-st-tropez.html
  21. While I kind of doubt that Tori's show with Jennie Garth will be a big hit, I hope it does well enough to stay on the air a while. The best thing for their family would probably be for Tori to have a full time job that keeps her busy and out of the house--where she gets lots of attention on-set, and let Dean be the parent for a while. He doesn't really look like he's in shape to be getting much work, and he really is the more stable parent. If Candy wanted to do something for them, she'd pay for Patsy or a Patsy type housekeeper or nanny to be there to provide some stability for the kids, especially the two youngest. Liam and Stella get to go to school which hopefully gives them some structure but those babies really have no other reality than these crazy parents. Liam and Stella probably have memories of better times, but Hattie and Finn only know the life they have now. Dean seems to be less stressed and more present when he is dealing with the kids, while even when she's doing ok, Tori seems stressed. I hope at least one of the off-camera nannies is calm and capable.
  22. CDAN has a story today that says that Tre has scheduled a Fabelini (or whatever her drink is called) party that she is planning to attend--5 days after her sentencing hearing. She is thinking positive. http://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2014/06/teresa-giudice-plans-party-five-days.html
  23. I binge watched the entire season this weekend and I'm breathless waiting for the final episode. I'm glad I did it all in one big marathon--I'm not sure I would have been able to stand waiting for each week's episode. I hope this isn't the end of the Molly/Gus family, and there is something in me that hopes Malvo lives to terrorize another day. This is my favorite role for Billy Bob--he was clearly loving this part, and he really brought it. I kind of love him the way I love Dexter and Hannibal--and even tho he does bad things, there is something about him I want to see more of.
  24. Not only is Malvo super-human--he can kill endless numbers of people and escape from everything, but he has an amazing wardrobe. The fur collared overcoats, the beautiful jackets......he's a very stylish hit-man.
  25. This Blind Item reveal at CDAN today made me laugh for some reason. http://www.crazydaysandnights.net/2014/06/blind-items-revealed_980.html
