  4. The reason people are wired up is that I gather Andy Cohen made some comment that the letters were to go out the week of 1/6.
  5. Hmmmm maybe those offer letters are arriving? https://www.inquisitr.com/5823984/tamra-judge-fired-rhoc-twitter-instagram/

  8. No Rachel --Ali Velshi just signed off saying he'd be back for her show.
  9. Online there are some special content interviews with the 4 designers from Rock the Block and one of the questions was about how they wind down or how driven they are and Jasmine and Mina both said they feel very driven and work all the time --Mina said she feels like now she is responsible for half her family's incomes--so I assume the ones who work on the show get paid. From the way they talked--it sounded like they do a bunch of houses together and move the key people from place to place to film and have other crew who stay and work on the house. I bet the season where Good Bones did s

I think UP does pretty well in the 8-10 slot so he will probably get that and I'm ok with moving David--I really like him and that late afternoon slot has been kind of all over the place--with them testing newer people on and off--they've also had new people doing the early early slot before UP when Alex doesn't do that and some of them would be ok. David is going to need to change his pastry tray to sandwiches or something---:) I would like to see Geoff Bennett or Jonathan Capehart or Zerlina Maxwell get a shot. I also like Maya Wiley and I'm really surprised they haven't had her cov
  11. I know Rachel doesn't care, but whoever did her makeup in Atlanta did a great job--or maybe it was Tyler Perry's lighting. She looked really good! In NY sometimes the pile it on and use too much of the HD stuff under the eyes. In Atlanta, her skin and coloring looked really nice.
  12. I had never watched Jasmine's show before this, and I watched a bunch of season 1 and I'm not sure if it is that she doesn't have a design concept going in or if she isn't good at communicating it. When I see some designers--such as Leanne or even Alison, or Joanna Gaines, I can understand how it all comes together in their heads--into a cohesive design---not always a design I like or agree with but I do see they HAVE a plan. After I watched Hidden Potential, I noticed a lot of details--she bought or installed pretty things, but all those pretty things didn't make a memorable impression f

Hallie Jackson just announced she's pregnant. Goodness, the Road Warrior women from the 2016 are taking turns this year!
  14. I watched Sarah Richardson's show on the HGTV site---it was good--her designs were beautiful, but here places end up being so expensive it takes the DIY out of it. https://watch.hgtv.com/tv-shows/sarah-off-the-grid/
  15. Nice article about Leanne's wedding https://www.domino.com/content/leanne-ford-erik-allen-wedding-elope/
  16. The thing I liked about Leann was that she talked a lot about creativity, and not being afraid to fail---she said she tries not to take on projects with homeowners who expect something other than her aesthetic--that other people approach her, but she knows she would not be able to do the style that they want. The quote I liked best from her was that she believes that you work to live--not live to work. That you do your job to support having a good life. I'm not sure what I expected, but a lot of things Leanne talked about were things I didn't know about her--and I've watched their little
  17. The realtor/builder judges from Fla evidently have a new show on HGTV--90 Day Dream House. There is an episode online at HGTV under HGTV Sneak peaks. It looks like it aired originally in April. No idea when the show will start. https://www.abcactionnews.com/tampa-bay-couple-hosts-new-hgtv-show-90-day-dream-home I also watched the interview show with Orlando--it was interesting- Alison does TM? Also glad to see that the partner on her show is not her boyfriend---they showed a pic of her with her real boyfriend and it is not that red haired guy. Also liked hearing more abo
  18. I am just watching this---usually with design shows I am left wishing shows were longer and showed more details, but for some reason both of the episodes I've watched so far seem sooooo long. Maybe they should have done 3 designers or something. I've never watched Hidden Potential, but Jasmine seems nice and I like some of her stuff so I will give her a try. Leanne's house looks like she's designing for Kim and Kanye. https://www.google.com/search?q=kim+and+kanye+white+home&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiOqsj2gMzlAhXMtlkKHQ-8AugQ7Al6BAgEECQ&biw=1536&

This looks a lot like Fixer Upper but in Arkansas. https://www.latimes.com/business/real-estate/story/2019-11-01/hgtv-fixer-fabulous-walmart-reality-realty
  20. Aw, well, I'm happy for Karen to be able to retire and do what she wants to do, but I've enjoyed her on the show, so I will miss seeing her. Glad she'll pop in with her projects when she wants to.
  21. I don't think I've ever seen the actor who played the doorman--but he was exceptional in this.
  22. On the last episode, I wish they'd kept more of the natural wood---maybe the beams and I'd like to have seen some kind of natural wood outside---I'm a little bored with all the black houses. I liked that it seemed like they used some of the owner's own stuff (or at least it seemed like they did). I can never think how it would be to move into a home with ALL new stuff and none of my stuff--or they take out all the staging stuff and put in all my old stuff. The one thing I liked a lot was the way they stained the wood wall in the master that dark green--it was different and it added
  23. My thing is that if they are contractors as well as designers why they are not doing more through inspections--they knew there was an issue with the most recent tear down so why not look more thoroughly into why before committing? In terms of finishes or materials, I suspect because they do involve the owners in the final designs, that when more money is on the line, they go back to them and say---you can either have your fancy tile, and it costs $x,00 and we go over budget, or we need more money, and the people go borrow more or whatever. If it was someone with less money, like t
