  1. This show was really well done and I watched all of it, but after the past few weeks of horrible news I was really glad to see Ailes die last night. Judy, the secretary, was my favorite character throughout the show--she had very little dialogue but that actress was a real presence in every scene she was in--and to have her get that final note at the end was kind of fantastic--I have a feeling that she probably knew where ALL the bodies were buried at Fox and they were probably afraid not to pay her.
  2. I can't see the point of a 3-bedroom with such a small living room and no real eating space--and when they told the people touring it that "the island isn't fixed in place---you can move it or put in a table"---seriously? I did love the wall of doors--I thought it was creative and gave the house some character--I might have painted them all the same depending on the decor.
  3. I watched the new episode this morning--it was online early. The mid-century was not the red carpet one--and it turned out beautiful. They've really done some great jobs--all of them different. This one went from really meh to very cool--and the fireplace that was original just looked great. I loved all the green--my whole house used to be in greens so I'm a fan.
  4. Good lord, it's like this guy was auditioning to be on Dateline.
  5. I was just coming here to post about this show. I watched the 2 episodes on the HGTV site yesterday and the couple are fun and pleasant--the wife is very funny, and her design work is pretty clean and attractive. They played a little too much to the camera, but that seems to be the fashion--and I wish they'd show more of the actual work, but I enjoyed them and I would watch more episodes if they have them! I liked that room with the coral accents in particular--her style seems to be a lot of neutrals or black and white with color accents, and I thought that was a little different and came out really pretty.
  6. The Basque house turned out great. Like others have posted I wish they'd shown the upstairs more--I wonder if maybe the owners could not pay to furnish the bedrooms or something? I really like that they are choosing a wide range of different types of homes this season. I know Luke's style suits the mid-century modern but we've seen him adapt that to some other styles--and I really enjoy it. We have a home near where I live that is being re-done and the owners are using a lot of black metal and natural wood on the outside-It was a very traditional colonial home--I drove by the other day and it is starting to look like something the Boise Boys would do!
  7. MSNBC just announced a special show tonight starting at 9 pm --with multiple hosts (including Rachel) I think it was called Crisis in America --and it is about the recent gun violence, I think.
  8. I feel like the last few houses are all alike to me. Not sure if it is because all these places near each other are similar or if they just ARE kind of similar. Once again, I know they made a second sitting room upstairs but it felt like the open living room/kitchen felt smooshed together too much for the number of people who could live in that many bedrooms. And I hope they have kids because there is no freaking way I'd climb that straight up ladder to that second loft space. Blue cabinets must be the trend, I feel like I'm seeing them a lot but I kind of hated them with the butcher block counters and that backsplash looked really random and dingy. And no to the marble cabinet handles mixed with the cup handles on the drawers, I'd have picked a metal knob that coordinated.
  9. They did a great job on the Fire House. Nice to see the story of Luke's adoption.
  10. Oh yeah, but they're just getting warmed up. Rachel's going to need to pace herself.
  11. They are down 1 sub----I think normally they'd have Ali Velshi and Joy to help and Ali is on vacation. Thank god they don't put Kornaki on either Lawrence or Rachel usually. Ali seems to always be the go-to for prime time subs--but I really like that Yasmin is getting some more daytime exposure-----she DID have a long day---she does the pre-Morning Joe show then she did mid-day and then went on to do The Beat. I'm really enjoying her--she is good interviewer. I'll be interested to hear what Ali did this year--last year he went somewhere in asia to do volunteer work when he was off. I think it's going to be a tough year so I encourage Rachel to get her long weekends when she can. A little fishing is good therapy.
  12. No Rachel tonight.....Ari Melber is in for her.

Sorry, I love Chris Hayes so I would prefer he stay but she could definitely have Matthews slot. (pretty much anyone could have the Hardball slot --If Chris M wants to keep working, he has been doing his best work lately doing those town halls--let him do specials like that. I have a feeling she is going to go with doing some special things like this series she's doing with Jacob--she is really at her best on the road reporting and because she has a little guy, her afternoon slot is a good one to let her also have family time while he is so small. I do really like her show and I've missed her in the afternoons.

Oh my, Katy Tur's baby is so big already!
  15. Oh...you're good! I had not gone looking---the gossip site I read it on seemed to think Carole might be deposed to see if she ever saw anything--but who knows if that is true.
  16. I read somewhere that Carole had a social connection to Ghislane Maxwell---that may be why she was in Epstein's book.
  17. No murder (yet) but this is a wicked crazy crime story. I think it would take a 2-hour episode at least! https://www.thecut.com/2019/07/bruce-hay-paternity-trap-maria-pia-shuman-mischa-haider.html?utm_source=tw
  18. Natalie Morales was on with Jenna Bush to promote her new role with Dateline (she got poofed from Today when the Matt Lauer thing happened and then got poofed from Access Hollywood when Mario Lopez didn't want a co-host) I can't tell if she will be narrating a whole episode like Keith and Josh and the others, or if she will be doing the opening and closing tags like Lester.
  19. I would imagine that LuAnn would be playing Matron Mama Morton.--her song can really be talk-sung by almost anyone......i.e. Wendy Williams did it...so I think LuAnn with her height and deep voice could probably pull it off--doesn't require that much movement/dancing or real singing. Next up.......Dancing with the Stars!!!!
  20. LuAnn admits Bravo paid for her rehab. https://www.realitytea.com/2019/07/22/luann-de-lesseps-reveals-who-really-paid-for-her-second-trip-to-rehab/
  21. I'm going to confess.......I am really nosy and I AM interested in these women's money and how most of them live these carefree lives without working. Bethenny I get....altho I never see any Skinnygirl stuff anywhere so I still don't get where the money she seems to spend comes from---she seems to have a lot to invest--especially in real estate. It also seems interesting to me that all of the others except Ramona now don't live in their past homes but all have their new expensive but sort of anonymous apartments. I wonder if Bravo gets some kind of deal for them to get them for the months they are filming. In the past, Sonja's travails with her Grey Gardens townhouse was as much a storyline as anything else. Luann's round house seems a little sad to me and I wonder if she will make enough money with her Cabaret to allow her to "make it nice". She had a nice style in her old houses and I didn't really feel any of that in the new place. To me seeing how they lived was interesting and now it is a little bit anonymous --like they're staying in a hotel to film.
  22. Crew really looks so much like his mom. I didn't see it when he was younger, but he does now. What a sweet smile he has.
  23. First off, I could not believe they got that condo for 30k and it was in such good shape. I see others posting about the practicality of demo for rewiring or other practical things but I thought it looked great and I was hoping they'd keep all the wood trim as is because I love it. I'd have probably done the floors, roof any needed upgrades to mechanical, and the bathroom and kitchen and call it done. It turned out cute with all they did--but what is it this year with things not selling? I also thought the outside looked beautiful painted and with the copper roof. I've read Mina is trying for another baby, plus they''re doing some HGTV things as experts--I wonder if they're gently trying to bring the younger daughter Kelsey in to help fill a void in the future.
  24. Josh liked something I tweeted---I feel like I'm famous now.
  25. Oh my this was a week ago---I can't remember where I found it but if you google Jeffrey Epstein's black book you'll find some.
