  1. Get Smart. When I'm not well, this show can make me smile and shut off my mind.
  2. I used to like Darcy. I thought she was a strange duck, but I found her vulnerable and basically kind. Now she seems full of herself and arrogant.
  3. She wants to cook for him? That's a good one! Anyone remember a few seasons ago when Michael wanted help preparing a meal for his family, and Angela would have none of it, but ordered pizza instead?
  4. Well, that turned dark fast. Of course, a show about vampires is going to be dark, but that's not quite what I was expecting. What was I expecting? I really don't know, but that wasn't it. I've also decided I don't like these characters much, any of them (well aside from maybe Rashid), but the actors are great and are acting the hell out of their roles. Not to say I didn't like the episode. It definitely held my interest, and I look forward to seeing what's next.
  5. I finally got around to watching this and quite liked it. I see not everyone cared for Lestat, but I thought all of the actors really brought their A-game. I felt the time change worked and so did changing up Louis' history, giving the show its own flavor without much straying far from its source. It's been ages since I had seen the movie or read the series even though I knew the general story, so it was nice having things brought back to me. Some things were definitely different, yet the Benji story seemed vaguely familiar to me, although I don't remember it at all. Was this in the books? I know it wasn't in the movie. I admit I got laugh when Daniel kept asking 'Did you eat the baby?'
  6. Temperature is only part of the problem. I have lost mad respect for Kobe. Clearly Kobe no backbone. I think he knew, after telling Temperature how felt about Emily, that Temperature would butt in to take up for Kobe. Temperature coming in hot when he first met her was inappropriate, especially in front of her parents. The two of them speaking in their native tongue about her, right in front of her was obnoxious.
  7. Okay, Yve is now saying she really has no contact with her family, and the "squad" is the only family she has, so I am wondering why the big need for a venue.
  8. That was very good of Caleb!
  9. This is disturbing. I used to watch a lot of true crime shows, and I've decided I will never talk to the police without a lawyer, under any circumstances.
  10. I have only half been paying attention to this show lately and was starting to check out. Salen was an awful character and really not even a good villain. I'm still bored, but I can say I did like this episode.
  11. I'm not even sure he wants to get to America as much as he wants his face on TV. Otherwise, he'd be banging her brains out!
  12. Strong and empowered people scare me. I'd just as soon be friends with someone weak and vulnerable.
  13. Caleb seems strange but harmless. On the other hand, Alina and her "protector" seem somewhat sketchy to me.
  14. I don't know what to make of these two. Overall, I think their story is completely made for TV and they probably have a perfectly comfortable room and just used this one for filming. I have a hard time believing that after 13 years, he would know so little of her condition, even if she only sent waist-up photos. For the sake of argument, I didn't find the backpack Caleb brought very offensive, misguided and ignorant sure, but I don't think it came from a cruel place. I also thought Alina should have taken some responsibility to make sure she had the things she needed for her stay. I also thought it was somewhat inconsiderate to leave Elijah behind so she could meet up with Caleb alone. He was in a situation that he was ill prepared to deal with and was then expected to deal with his luggage, push her around and manage making sure she was cared for. I do think he was rude and dismissive of her in the car and at the hotel though. As for Elijah, I feel he is going to be a shit stirrer.
  15. Or almost certainly a bakery and/or confectionary shop.
  16. About the Summer Wells' case, based on interviews and what has been allowed by the media, I can't help but wonder if the mother wasn't stoned and lost track of time and that something may have happened, whether accidentally or she met up with something more sinister. It's hard to believe the mother only noticed her missing for 2 minutes or so. Pure speculation of course.
  17. This was an odd and confusing story. One minute, mother and son were the best of friends until they're not. The next minute, the best friend was all too glad to take him in, saying she was envious of their relationship, all while saying her family kept wasp spray around because they were so afraid of him. Just curious, but how would wasp spray help, if someone snuck up on you in your sleep, and if you were that afraid, why would you agree to keep him in your home?
  18. I’ve been bored with this show, but because I still like the characters I've been watching. I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but I find Salen entertaining, and I had to laugh when Glassman shut the garage door on her.
  19. I think it was the anniversary special I was watching where someone asked about this, and Keith said he didn't think so since there already so much coverage of it.
  20. Having worked in the medical field, I am confident in saying that HIPAA laws are held to any person working in a health care setting who has knowledge of the patient's health and/or care, whether they be a janitor or an administrator.
  21. It appears Freddie has gotten married. Freddie Highmore on Getting Married, Smuggling “Cocaine” as a Child & The Good Doctor Storylines - YouTube
  22. I completely forgot the show was back until I watched Jimmy Kimmel on YouTube this morning (I will post a link in the media thread. It would seem I'm losing track of time with all the Covid and other craziness going on. In any case, I'm glad the show is back. I hope Andrews and Glassman get through their issues as I really like them both. I have also surprised myself by actually rooting for Sean and Leah.
  23. Somehow. I have to doubt this. I just started this franchise when the lockdown began, and I thought the first couple of seasons were somewhat interesting, but as things went on, everything had to progressively become more and more outrageous with each season. I quit watching when Angela was pulling worms from her dog's behind because, really? What is next? Will they be defecating on each other or eating puppies?
