  1. How else will they hawk their eventual line of dogwear? And how much does a purebred French bulldog puppy cost? Didn’t think of the dogwear angle, but I can believe that....unless they buy Jen and Bill Klein’s dog store in Houston!
  2. I noticed that too, and thought it was one of the little girls. When I realized who it was, I said , “Why is Blake being so mealy-mouthed?” Also, if all this drama is contrived about Adam’s job, why would anyone want to show themselves in that kind of light? Good thing I’m not on a reality show because I would refuse to appear so debased.
  3. Yes. My robot is an Eufy 11S. I have quite a high transition from my kitchen to dining room (vinyl to ceramic tile) and it maneuvers it very well. And it goes from the tile to area rugs well also. We named ours Amelia Bedelia.
  4. I am a neatnik, almost to the point of excessive. I diligently dust and vacuum each week. In between times, I run my little non-electric sweeper to pick up crumbs and other debris. I have no pets. I live with my husband and adult son. Because of my bad back, I bought a robot vacuum. OMG! You wouldn’t believe all the dirt it picks up every single week! It’s like I haven’t cleaned in weeks! Or months! And the thing is, before I run the robot, I swiffer my floors (I have tile with 3 area rugs) along the baseboards and under areas where the robot can’t go and it still fills the little bin FULL of dirt. I highly recommend a robot vacuum.
  5. That was realistic. I was itchy for several months and the first doctor I was referred to was an oncologist to quickly eliminate any cancer diagnosis. Turns out my diagnosis was food allergies.
  6. If HGTV does make this house something like an Air bnb, how in the world would they keep fans from pilfering all the treasures? I can definitely see someone taking that cute needle-point pillow that Ann B. Davis made for Eve. Cameras would have to be everywhere which would invade privacy.
  7. I have said this, too, over in the regular HH thread. To me, color is a preference, not a trend or style . How dare any tell me my color preference is out of style! Just because some designer says puce is THE color, why do I have to have it, when I prefer a blue or green.
  8. I know many of you have felt that Jeremy wears his suit pants too short . However, I was just looking through the pictures on Yahoo Entertainment of the Emmy fashions and nearly every male actor’s tux pants just cover the ankle. Their entire shoe is showing. Maybe this is the California style?
  9. I missed the beginning of the show. Where was this place that they held “I love you day”? Was it a rental? Did they stay there overnight? (Although it appeared that the daughters drove to the place) Was it close-by the Bates’ home? Did I use the apostrophe correctly?😄
  10. Oh, man!! Now they will be in my backyard!! I grew up in the town where Weeki Wachee is located. My cousin was a mermaid and one of my best friends is STILL a mermaid in her mid-60s! (you couldn’t pay me to be in a bathing suit now). Lots of girls in high school were mermaids at one time or another. But many of them quit because of constant ear aches.
  11. And the dress looks too small and too large at the same time! How can that be?
  12. I am a former children’s librarian and there are several books written about Sept. 11th that are age appropriate to explain what happened. Maybe she could check one out when she goes to the library instead of just using it as an indoor playground. There’s also a book titled September 12th that explains that even though something very awful happened the day before, everything will be all right.
  13. For many years, I was a part of Florida Baptist Disaster Relief. Even though this is a part of a religious organization, we were approved to go into disaster areas, however we had to wear FEMA approved credentials around our neck which meant we passed a background check and attended yearly classes to keep these credentials current. Not just any “do-gooder” could go into a disaster area, no matter how good you intentions are.
  14. Pascale Hutton seems like such a lovely lady. I’m starting to like everything she’s in because I think she makes them better. So, yeah, last night’s movie was pretty good!
  15. Exactly! The building codes now are much more stringent than they were in the 1950s. And I can almost guarantee that, like you said, there was originally another home on that lot that was razed to build this home.
  16. The neighborhood they live in has many homes worth over $1 million and quite a few homes over $2 million. But you do see several homes for less than $1 million. That’s because it’s an older neighborhood with many older homes. Homes built in the 1950s (like their neighbor’s home) are less ostentatious than homes built today. Also, today’s homes built on the water have a grander look to them because essentially they’re built on stilts with the garages under the house to save it from flooding. I guarantee that when a hurricane approaches, the homes not built up, like Bill and Jen’s, are more nervous than the Kleins are.
  17. Well, I’m on hurricane watch. I’m the type of person who’s had canned goods, bottled water, and batteries since June. I’ve gassed up the cars and recharged all my external chargers . So take that, Dorian (pflatt! 😝)
  18. And I hated how she was so disrespectful in talking about her mother-in-law. I agree that Mom could have had a pull out sofa in the office, but wife saying Mom should just stay in a hotel was just rude.
  19. I was reading that although the Holi powder is not toxic, it’s not safe to get it in your eyes or lungs. As an asthmatic, no thank you!
  20. Re Santa Clarita couple: If she said “cookie cutter” one more time, I was going to scream. What do you expect from a condominium community? Of course they are going to look exactly alike. I agree with everyone else; they picked the worst one. If I had to have a condo, I would have picked the third one. At least it was stand-alone and had a little area for the boy to play.
  21. Aren’t they made of rice? Maybe they disintegrate upon hitting water. I don’t know what happens when you let them off over land.
  22. Where has Paul Greene been? I think he would have been a better fit for Erin Krakow in A Summer Romance. Paul makes any movie better. I can look at him all day. 😉
  23. Dr. Jen was on our local morning show today, talking about the simulation center that she runs. She was so informative and articulate; such a great speaker. But her hair was wild! Nothing like it looks on the show. I’m sure they use professional stylists for the show. LOL
  24. I only wear a bra to church because I have an elastic allergy that has popped up in my old age. (Thankfully, I no longer work). All the rest of the time I wear 100% cotton undershirts from The Vermont Store. But I really would like to get a professional bra fitting. I’m just afraid I’d end up with a really expensive bra and I can’t justify the cost right now. Anyway, I went to JC Penney and asked for a measurement and the lady whips out her measuring tape and proceeds to measure me RIGHT AT THE CHECKOUT COUNTER in front of God and everybody! Needless to say, I told her never mind.
