  1. Whitney, bless her heart, has certainly gotten more beautiful as the years have gone by! I know she’s lost a lot of weight, but she has such style now. Really, all the girls are more stylish now. Wonder if they had some help amping up their game.
  2. I was so disappointed that I didn’t love “Love in the Sun” because it was shot right up the street from me. It was big news that Hallmark was making a movie here. The dad’s inn looked more like a B & B to me. And that festival! Only a handful of people showed up. Festivals should have thousands of people showing up.
  3. Too bad she didn’t look this gorgeous for her own wedding.
  4. Don’t hate me, but I never had night sweats during menopause, I had night chills. I would wake up so cold that I would get up and put my fleece robe on and climb back into bed, with a blanket, in the middle of summer and I live in Florida! My GYN said it’s rare, but it does happen.
  5. Not to mention, the dusty, greasy dishes from sitting out with all the cooking vapors. I have a few tchotchkes sitting on an open shelf, nowhere near my stove. I couldn’t believe how greasy they got sitting on that shelf!
  6. Yeah, but when you look at it, there are 3 views of the dress and in one of them she is standing up. Maybe they should have had that one as view #1.
  7. I think that’s true. My husband was really overweight and lost quite a bit of weight, but still has that hanging gut. We can’t afford a tummy tuck but he would look a whole lot slimmer if we could.
  8. They had a banquette style table under the window next to their counter.
  9. Didn’t Meri’s house also have an expanded master bedroom so Kody would have a special place to escape to when he wanted to get away from the chaos of the other homes? Her home was supposed to be his refuge. Obviously, it was when they were getting along better.
  10. Something that shocked me about Leanne is that in one house she CHOSE white appliances and in another home she stated they were going to keep the black appliances. Be still, my heart. How are the homeowners ever going to live without stainless steel appliances?!
  11. And really, that’s the house I would prefer! Less wear and tear because of no small kids, not to mention that awesome wet bar (which rilly is quite nice!)
  12. Yes, our adult Sunday School class takes place at the same time as all other Sunday School classes. We call it adult Bible Study class now because some thought Sunday School sounded too childish. So for us, there is no difference between adult Sunday School and adult Bible Study. But yes, some people do meet at other times for Bible Study.
  13. My husband and I teach an adult Sunday School class, although many churches now call it adult Bible Study class. But in the old days, it was definitely called adult Sunday School.
  14. Don’t know if this has been posted yet, but according to Zillow Christine’s house is off the market. Maybe someone put a bid on it and they’re awaiting approval?
  15. I’m looking forward to seeing the Sara Rue movie, True Loves Blooms, next week. It was shot near me in Safety Harbor, FL. Jordan Bridges, her costar, is the son of Beau Bridges. It was hot news around here while the filming was done. The local news stations covered it quite a bit.
  16. I’m not trying to be a know-it-all, nor am I trying to scorn you. I just like learning. Thought you’d like to know the correct spelling is tout de suite (although tout suite is sometimes acceptable). It’s a French phrase for right now or immediately. Consider this your dining room table lesson for today.😁
  17. Did I understand correctly that Mitch and Aspyn did the hand-fasting tradition INSTEAD of rings because, for Mitch, “the ring ceremony doesn’t necessarily hold any special meaning to him”? What? My wedding ring holds very special meaning to me . I have no problem with them doing the hand-fasting ceremony, but they should have rings, too. Is it so Mitch can appear more available to a possible 2nd wife?
  18. I love Abbie’s curls, but I was wondering if you all think her hair natural curly. Her sisters did not appear to have as much curl and I seem to remember a picture of Abbie when she was a child and she had a “Prince Valiant” haircut, with no curl at all.
  19. Not to mention, “Wooden closet doors are so dated!”. What else is there? Did she want plastic?
  20. I live in FL and we have this voice-over actress who does several local commercials and she talks like this! It drives me nuts every time I hear her.
  21. I agree. I would probably never get my own reality show because I would refuse to allow them to make me look stupid. There’s a fine line between acting cute and acting dumb. Kendra was cute, Jessa was dumb, Jana was normal.
  22. I don’t really remember the exact amount he received because he qualified for FL academic scholar and had a FL prepaid plan, so Division of Blind Services paid for the balance after he showed them his GPA for the previous semester. When he was in graduate school, Blind Services paid for everything if he passsed the course. One semester he failed a class and he had to return the money to the state ($700!) and when he retook the class, he had to pay for it on his own. Disability scholarships can be great as long as you keep up your grades and don’t waste their money.
  23. Special Ed. scholarships might be different, although they never said it was a scholarship based on his disability. My son went to a major state university with scholarships from the Division of Blind Services. His deadlines were different and he had to reapply each semester so they could be sure he was keeping up his grades.
  24. They are outside of a Cracker Barrel restaurant which I’m sure has surveillance cameras.
