A friend of mine was approved to be on House Hunters and when I asked him about it today, he said the HH producers canceled him and said no more HH will be made or produced. Has anyone read that the show is canceled?

I restarted my iPad and Voila! dark was listed as a choice! I should know better. Restarting always seems to solve a myriad of problems. My eyes are happy now. (yay!!)

I read it...it says to select dark. But the only choice I see is light (which is the default setting).

Does anyone know how to make the background theme to dark? When I go to theme drop down menu at the bottom of the page, light is my only option. Dark background and light words works better on these old eyes.

There was an interesting article in our paper today written by a 25 year old wife who recently miscarried a baby at 13 weeks. I know Lauren was not that far along, but I see many similarities between this lady’s thoughts and how Lauren is acting. We had 3 families from my church that went full-on Gothard in the late 80’s. They each had a slew of babies (one guy even had a reversed vasectomy) after having kids who were teens at that time, they homeschooled, and embraced the belief completely. And now.....they are all divorced. I’ve lost connection with them to feel like I could ask them what happened, but the wives still attend church, (not mine) but much more main -streamed beliefs now.

Re: Columbus couple. I agree with everyone that yes, he appeared miserable. However, “man-child” was the perfect term for him. Dude, grow up! He only thought of his own comfort and happiness in life. He didn’t seem to want to make a happy life with her, or anyone else for that matter. He said, “The life style we live is really fun right now. And I don’t know if I really want to cut back at this point in my life”. That says it all.

I want to know if Danielle had a tummy tuck. After carrying quints, her stomach had to be stretched all out of shape. “All” I had was twins and my tummy muscles were never the same again.

Do cameramen, directors and producers secretly hate these TV reality stars? Everyone of them are shown in the worst light and they act like imbeciles. Kate, the Busbys, the Kleins, the Sister Wives, House Hunter buyers, and so many more that I refuse to watch. Is the almighty dollar so important to them that they would allow this to happen?

That is exactly why we bought a fire pit. We are not “sit around a fire and roast marshmallows “ kind of people. We bought it to burn documents. First of all, it’s safe because fire pits are made to be safe and they are legal in my area. Just burning a pile of papers on the ground is not.

My 34 year old son went to the ER a couple of weeks ago for heart palpitations and pain between his shoulder blades. Although he’s in great shape (he’s a runner), heart problems run in my family and I didn’t want to chance it. Long story short, he’s fine, but he got the bill today’s mail...$3200 total, his insurance paid about $3000, he has to pay $120. Anyone using an ER for minor maladies is crazy. And I suppose Gil told them he was unable to pay because he had a bazillion kids. No wonder health care is so expensive.

That must be the style now for men who are relatively slim. We have a meteorologist on our local TV who is very slim, but his suit jackets are cut so tight he can hardly raise his arms. That’s got to be so uncomfortable!
