The end left me thirsty for the next book but not yelling out loud like book 7. Argh! Brianna also finally became a likable character and loved seeing Claire's modern BFF Joe Abernathy again. I so wish Jamie could travel. I'd hoot out loud at his response to modern life. Snort!

I thought the acting was fine, but was bothered with how much was changed from the book. They made it too soapy I'm surprised the folks who've mentioned North and South haven't mentioned Brendan Coyle being in it. :D Also an Outlander fan here. Read the books first years ago while browsing at the library and got sucked in and addicted. The casting for the show has been excellent.

Makes me think of Wharton's "The Buccaneers." The mini-series is pretty good though much grittier than DA. You can find it on Netflix and Youtube. Carla Gugino and Mira Sorvino are in it. I think Mira's Conchita is supposed to be inspired by Consuelo Vanderbilt who was part of the Marlborough set.

I would love Henry and Tom's car biz become fabulously successful and be the next Rolls Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, etc. According to Wikipedia, Jaguar was founded in 1922 by two men. And later, Marigold inherits the magazine and becomes a publishing Grande Dame.

Even after rereading the books after a not looking at them for months, I pick up things I never noticed before. There's a lot going on in this series. I think if you read them, you'll find that Diana doesn't write in a black and white world. There's many shades of gray. :)

I'm beginning to not care about the identity of the tub baby(ies). Were Wes and the 'Waterfalls' chick ever married? I can't remember if they said. I always assumed they were. What do we know about Tub Mom? RIP Candle Jennifer. So who was the RD that got Boone out of the morgue? Since Gigi wears a different disguise I assume it wasn't her. I'm guessing tonight was her first time in 'uniform' and probably helps organize things. The Chanels seem too small and waifish to be the other RD. I could buy Dean being one of them since she's tall so I'll go with Chad or Pete.

I loved Autumn/Taylor. Heck, I've watched stuff just because I knew she'd be in it. She's got charisma, talent and had chemistry with the cast. Mischa was a drag.

Brielle has a degree of charisma and if she gets an education (girl, seriously, go. to. college.) and interns, she shouldn't have a problem. G Rancic has zero charisma and has a broadcast job, but she worked her way up and even has a Master's degree in journalism. If she pays her dues, I'm sure Kroy has some friends in sports broadcasting who can get her in touch with the right people. She's got all the connections, but with no education, it's no help.

This show is starting to lose me. IMO, this was the lamest ep so far. Why is Z mysteriously missing? Enough of the Nancy Drew meta stuff. JLC is even pathetic.
