The movie "Infamous" is amazing. We see Harper and Truman in Kansas.

If typical TV does its thing, they will ruin a series. Case in point: The Wheel of Time. I don't get why some of the show runners hate the source material and the people who loved the books first get screwed over. Some are only here because of hoping things would resemble the source material. Rafe Judkins (sp?) basically gave the finger to the book fans.

I'd like a Mark Paul appearance this season. Bummed about Faith and Hot Doc not dating. I wonder if we will get Sara in the future. Angie needs to be single and work on herself.

Will and Angie are a toxic pairing and Will deserves better. I can't see them as endgame. Payback, thy name is Gina Ormewood. Reap what you sow, dude. I thought Ulster died at the end of last season when he drank a poisoned drink, or am I due for a rewatch of that ep? I'm liking the recurring side characters like Clark Gregg, Greg Germann, and Mark-Paul Gosselaar. RIP Cricket!

"The GIrl" was also great. He really did torture poor Tippi. I got it via Audible. Great book.

Another great Truman Capote movie is 2006's "Infamous." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infamous_(2006_film) It has a lot of heavy hitters in the supporting roles like Sigourney Weaver as Babe, Sandra Bullock as Harper Lee, etc. Toby Jones loses himself in this role in a way PSH didn't in "Capote."

Will is very smart and can read. They just have different ways of working with it. I love Youtuber Emily D Baker who is dyslexic and has ADHD. As a book reader, please don't make Angie nice. She is satanic in the books, but the show is not really following them. It's more of an 'inspired by.' Slaughter is not a nice person. I went to an event where she spoke. She wore sweatpants (this was a nice event and everyone wore suits or dresses) and insulted the crowd. This was a library fundraiser. I stopped reading her stuff after this.

Angie is pretty much the devil and has zero redeeming qualities. Lina is not far behind.

I gave in and am watching. The actor who plays Will is driving me nuts. No one in Atlanta talks like that. You will rarely find a Georgia or Atlanta native here. Even they don't sound like an extra from "Gone With the Wind." Despite my username I did not grow up here and my husband is from the midwest. He's on Foghorn Leghorn levels.

I thought Consuelo Yznaga was one of the first dollar princesses (Consuelo V was named for her)? CY is the inspiration for Conchita Closson in the Buccaneers book.

I think a spin off with Peggy would be great, and if Gladys winds up with the duke, a spin off of that as well. Peggy's storyline was so far from the Manhattans.

I think there was an attachable under ruffle that could be easily removed and cleaned. They also wore a few layers of slips/chamise to avoid sweating on their clothes. I got confused with him... should we call him Baudin or Borden? LOL

I also want comedic family dinners with the Russells and Agnes. If Gladys must be a dollar princess, let her and the duke fall in love. She deserves better than Consuelo Vanderbilt. George is Team Gladys and so will be Larry. If he marries Marian that will get them connected to 'old' NYC. Turnerton just can't let things go even though Bertha was never mean to her. Enjoy your money and your indulgent husband. Glad Peggy peaced-out on the newspaper. Perhaps she'll teach writing at the school. So what is Oscar to do now? If there's a season three, he can go on a mission to find Maud.
