  1. Oh wow, I didn't realize this was a whole series. And even better it finally struck me that I can watch YouTube on the big tv. I'm just over the moon about this.
  2. Has anyone found a link for the GBBO Red Nose charity clip? I love everyone baking and am dying to see it but so far my searches have yielded nothing but stills/
  3. I think that is a big part of the shows with kids appeal for me. I would be fine with 6 or so episodes a year to let me see how they were doing. What changed, what was the same. I really want to see the empty nest. Does Kate downsize and the kids have to really bunk when they come home? I see how tight she is with money and I can't see her maintaining all of that for an empty nest. Then how does she do? I know my mom cried like a crazy woman every one of us that left but once we were all gone she said don't replace the dog, I'm in heaven all on my own.
  4. I'll speak up. I do watch it. I don't watch (anymore) any of the housewife franchises, Dance Moms, Honey Boo Boo. So in doing self reflection I think I watch because it reminds me of a house I know. I shared a room with 1-2 siblings. When I was a senior in high school and the older sib went to college I had my own room for the year. I know what it sounds like to ALWAYS have a washer or a dryer running. I know about the noise and the activity even when everyone is getting along. I was well into my 20s the first time I called home and there was NO ANSWER! What! How can that be? Is someone in the hospital? I freaked out. So I put up with the melt downs and the Mady nonsense. I like the moving of the rooms. We all moved rooms and that is what it's like. The EVERYONE is cleaning the basement. If you aren't there you can't guard your stuff. That's why I watch.
  5. I read somewhere that you need a cold season to grow rhubarb. So that might be why some places have it and others don't. I live in MN and its a big pie/cobbler filling here. Most gardens have it since it is practically no care.
  6. You know a lot of this is that if you have 6 2 year olds some things don't happen anymore. Mostly because in order to be fair it is one for one. So if you are okay with 8 kids in and out of your room and all 8 of them in your bed and talking or watching tv then that's fine. It doesn't make my mother and the millions of moms with large families hateful. I know it was why she wanted a big comfortable sectional for the tv. So they could all do popcorn and movies.
  7. That came second to her asking Burt if her glasses where one her head. Then in the puppy case we get a visual of JJ laying on the floor begging a new puppy to eat the chicken she cooked for it. 'Been there, done that, made that mistake.' What is that? JJ made a mistake? This is a whole new JJ to new.
  8. And this is where wrangling 8 is different than managing 2. Everyone has to follow the rules cuz you ain't got time to be Columbo every time there is an issue. As a result large families have more rule with less wiggle room. I see it in the Duggars as well. There is NOTHING on the floor of that house.
  9. I did that too. It's called granite but it's not really granite. Mine has a little ledge on the left with a colander. I love it. I love that I can soak a roasting pan right in the sink.
  10. The court filing TMZ had said parental rights, which includes tv. Of course this is when the tabloids realized she could move to LA and started reporting house hunting rumors. So yes it was parental rights.
  11. He was in arrears on support. The state was going to toss hin in jail. Kate waived all child support in exchange for him signing over parental right. He still has the same custody. That means visitation every other weekend and one night a week. So he signed over the house instead of sharing upkeep. He signed over the right for his signature to be required on things like contracts, passports, school enrollment, medical approval etc. he pretty much is living his twenties. He has no responsibility for anything other than himself.
  12. Yes of course. Bella is an alcoholic. Kyle is an alcoholic. But Kim has been sober for three years and is comfortable enough in her sobriety to have friends like Brandy that drink. (insert eye roll here) Interesting that the sobriety coach friend, Gennifer?, hasn't stepped in to break up this codependent group of nut ball.s
  13. I have no more time for this vile little person. She is deliberately hurting people now. It's gone quite beyond the scope of someone that isn't taking responsibility for the hurt they've caused with their addiction. It's too bad Kyle can't just walk away since Kim's behavior is truly toxic. She deserves a friend like Brandi.
  14. I would just like to take a moment to remember Theo James with long wavy hair, dead in the bed. I don't think Divergent buzz cut is nearly as heart stopping.
  15. Yes this is the one of the two dogs that were sent back for training after they sent Jon's mother to the hospital by jumping on her. And of course she locked him in a cage for hours. It is called cage training, very common. Once Shoka was professionally trained he set up as a guard dog. So his home is probably near the garage although judging from the dog bed on the steps he must like to take sentry duty on the front steps. It looks like he has an electronic fence by his collar. I'm just imaging a big dog like that with acres to run on and at least 3 energetic kids at any time to play with. I would guess that Nala was untrainable and happier as a pet. I think I saw article that says he was with the breeder. Maybe he has some breeding talent. :)
  16. That's about 1/10 the time the Kardasians probably spend. I'm sure that these were a combination of family photos and publicity shots. If you're on tv you need publicity shots at the agents I'm sure. I thought Kate and Mady forcing Cara into a group hug was one of the best bits. That and the six on the sofa discussing hugs. I had high order multiples in class and that is exactly how it goes. Producer: Do you get hugs. Chorus: No Leah: I get hugs at bedtime. Chorus: Yeah me too. Oh yeah I get those. Aiden: And I get hugs when I go to school. Half the chorus: Me too Aiden: And if Mommy is going on a trip. Chorus: that too So you're left with what? what? Wait are there hugs, who gets those hugs, etc. The teacher would ask about homework from one of the quads and all four had different answers and good luck figuring out what the answer was. I don't see any of the neighbors having a problem with Kate. I'm sure there could have been something that was edited out but there was so much tabloid coverage something would have been caught on camera. Kate did say some of the proceeds so the $1000 and change was probably a percentage. I thought the pay what you want was an interesting way to go. If it was my yard sale I would worry about people just stealing things. Maybe I have rough neighbors.
  17. There is a type of sugar called Bakers Sugar in the US which is the same as Caster Sugar.
  18. That's what I heard it as well. I bet none of the younger kids are allowed in the twins rooms either. That many people in one house and everyone needs to respect the spaces. And with kids you don't want to start letting them lock their door.
  19. Great find. She gives me courage to try one of these myself. I don't mind semi spoiling myself for the future technical bakes we'll be seeing.
  20. This evening there is a new kids baking show. That Duff fellow is one of the judges. Unfortunately the description states that midway through the challenge the kids are told they need to make a third item with this and that. So manufactured drama. I'll skip it b
  21. I had no idea they have these at IKEA. It's on my list now. I just need to try one.
  22. He had a very unique case. He actually felt really bad that he messed up and stole her money. That was unusual. Ate all my popcorn so now I have to watch the dirty old man with the mutual friend crack dealer introduction to blondie. Where do they get these people? I live in MN, land of 10,000 landlord/tennet craziness.
  23. I'm so excited about hair flipping crazy girl today I can hardly make my tea.
  24. Very pleased that Chetna finally won star baker. I really do think that it's interesting how Nancy and she manage when things go bad. Still just love all the heart that someone as young as Martha shows.
  25. The only way this episode is well written or Shonda's favorite is if every single thing Olivia did was done knowingly, from telling the cellmate about the Prez, getting caught trying to jimmie the window, complacently walking back to her cell.
