  1. Probably a UO - I think Stiles is a terrible actress. Save for 10 things I hate about you, I’ve never bought her in anything I’ve seen her in.
  2. No don’t get me wrong - I know it’s his brother. I get that. But it still doesn’t make sense to me that anyone would work with him let alone trust him. He’s forever shaking and rubbing his nose.
  3. Finally saw the episode as in watching on SKy Living and have found this season hard to watch so took a long break. This episode broke my heart. From the rape victim to Jo’s mother to Jo herself. I had tears in my eyes through it all. It was so emotional. Camilla Luddington and Michelle Forbes were brilliant in their scenes. While I understand Jo’s mothers reluctance towards her (kind of - I thought her hostility was a bit much given Jo hadn’t actually done anything to her) I can see why Jo would be left traumatised by the whole experience. She was completely rejected. Even if the reasons weren’t understandable How can you not be devastated after that? The only scene that was overkill was the one with Tuck and Ben about consent. That just seemed inserted to really drag the point across. My husband pointed out that the key to a decent episode is no Maggie or Owen. I think he has a point.
  4. Did they recast Jackies mother in law from the pilot? She looks different..
  5. Only started watching this on demand recently. What I couldn’t get over is why the brother, who seems smart enough in covering his criminal activities, could think it was a good idea to do a heist with his mess of a brother. The kid has all the traits of a snitch. It just seemed like such a glaring risk.
  6. Unfortunately agreed. I think this is just a other version of the writers trying way too hard with these two. Also agreed with comments upthread about Maggie. I find her to be the most self absorbed of all the characters. On this show that’s really saying something.

  8. Just finished the Janine episodes. I think Elle McPherson was my least favorite guest star. She was so bland.
  9. This is the same woman who covered up Jackson’s grandad being a perve by paying off his victims.* She probably expected Bailey to let it slide. *ill admit I don’t remember that for sure but I do think she was involved in some way or another.
  10. Pet peeve but I hate that the synopsis always use their full names including Dr.
  11. Maybe and I think had the Jo from a few years ago met her mother her guard would have been up but I think the Jo from last season was in a good place, happy and optimistic. It doesn’t shock me that she was naive enough to think she might get a fairytale ending with her mother. Honestly I don’t think I could blame anyone for not expecting it. Being prepared is one thing but I’d say actually hearing you were a product of rape is traumatic enough that no amount of preparation can dictate how you’ll ultimately react.
  12. Agreed on that - Big a lot of the time kept Carrie at arms length. The Natasha thing is an example of why she should never have taken him back let alone derail her relationship for him. He treated both women horribly.
  13. If not a theme song most shows will have a tune that plays either throughout the episode or at the end when the closing credits roll.
  14. Bradley Cooper - I always thought he was a bit dry and humorless but I really went off him during last seasons award rounds with that whole fiasco with Lady GaGa. Don’t get me wrong I found her insufferable but I think that’s par for the course with her. I just think he came off as such a tool. Not to mention disrespectful to his partner and mother of his child. The whole thing was just so inappropriate and he got so carried away in the praise and popularity of the both of them it’s like he lost touch with reality and how moronic they both ended up coming across.
  15. Yeah the music was terrible. Chernobyl’s win came with a peppy pop song which didn’t fit the show at all. What happened to just playing the theme song of a show. I think they should have had a host. I think even if the jokes fall flat a host still adds something.
  16. Was that the actress choice? I can’t say I’d miss her though I find her miserable.
  17. Was Shay an owner? I don’t remember that.
  18. Since seeing the episode I think they’re trying to hard with the “we now hate each other” angle. You know the love/hate kind of thing. If it was over it’d be over and they’d be civil like Owen/Amelia. The last scene where Maggie says they don’t like each other I could really feel the actors attempting to generate chemistry with the looks only they couldn’t because it’s Jaggie and they suck.
  19. I can only hope they make this Jaggie break up last as I’ve found Jackson insufferable since it started. Maggie is always the worst as far as I’m concerned so no change there.
  20. Agreed on the comments upthread that Herman’s can be a total bully at time. I wish they’d call him out on it.
  21. That doesn’t bother me. I like Vic. i just hope they didn’t break them up though just to have them angsting over each other for the rest of the season. It was bad enough watching them pine and make googly eyes and big speeches the first time.
  22. I just watched that episode last night also. It’s so so funny. The way He looks up from the candy and delivers “hey chandler” is one of his funniest deliveries. I think this is the season they all start to get a little more eccentric.
  23. That’s ..... so embarrassing. Like at least wait until it’s locked down before you start advertising it. Now they just look like idiots.
  24. Agreed Wendy. I think Jennifer excelled at playing Rachel because Rachel was written well (save for the Joey saga at the end when the dumbed her down completely). I don’t think it’s a case of her being an amazing actor that rose above her material.
