I feel like they’re going really overboard with the Andrea Is The Worst approach. It’s eye rolling. At least if she was semi competent it would be more enjoyable to watch some back and forth. Instead it’s just coming across as Big Evil Boss must be stopped by Goody two shoes Team Kara and co.

This is exactly how he treated April after they split and Harriet was born. Maggie was his new shiny object and he had no time for April except to look down on her. Now Maggie is in the April position with Vic as the new shiny object. I do think they’ll eventually get back together but I think the show have made it hard to root for Jackson with anyone. And Maggie sucks 90% of the time too.

It’s possible but is this the season of babies or something?

Just watched the episode where Rachel kisses Gavin and really think Rachel was a jerk. As usual Rosss overreaction made her come off as the more innocent one but given she was living with him and they had a 4 month old who they were raising together while experiencing fuzzy feelings for each other I think it was lame that she was so into Gavin without considering Ross until after they’d kissed. The whole episode frustrates me from Rachel’s behaviour to Ross reaction to Rachel going back to Joey. Just ugh. Also I didn’t think Ross hiding the message from her was the worst thing ever. I think her giving out her number was bad form anyway. She didn’t get called on any of that though while Ross got the blame for all of it. and then started the whole Rachel/Joey saga..

Why would they bother with the Sylvie/Casey stuff though if Dawson was just going return. Or will it be just to beat us over the head with how perfect Dawson in comparison to all other potential love interests.

Really had to eye roll At the do gooders clutching their pearls at Andreas arrival and ideas. I get it - Andrea, Lena BAD, Karas crew - GOOD. Having said that I do think Lena being all out for revenge is a tad over dramatic. I mean yes be mad that Kara lied to you but I don’t think all the plotting and hatred is necessary. I thought Lena was better than that.

I don’t know I think that Rachel was just as into Ross. As I said above I’m doing my Season 8 rewatch and by the end of that season I think it’s pretty clear Rachel is into Ross. Especially in the last few episodes. I think if Ross had actually come out and said he still loved her or vice versa then they would have reunited pretty promptly. I just think that as always both were too stubborn to make the first move or commitment to working on things. Looking back while the Joey Love for Rachel is still depressing to watch in season 8 it’s still easy to see how he ended up falling for her (I don’t think it was love, I think he thought it was but was ultimately a massive crush). Her reciprocating his feelings in season 9 though make ZERO sense. It just didn’t fit at all and I hate how unlikeable she is during that time. I also hate how they dumbed her down in order to make them seem like a good match.

This storyline has made me despise Bethany though. What a terrible idea to bring her into it.

Onto season 8 of my rewatch and loving pregnant Rachel but HATING the Joey/Rachel storyline which has just started. I swore I’d get through it all but this is tough. While the beginning of the plot was the only part that made sense as I could see how Joey would end up falling for Rachel I still am so uncomfortable through it all. I can’t handle Matt Le Blancs SERIOUS acting voice. Still better than season 9 though when they had to completely dumb Rachel down to try justify her sudden feelings.

Yeah the storyline has really touched a nerve. Very poignant and realistic. Especially her anger, frustration and devastation about it all. A lot of the characters in these storylines have a moment of clarity where they feel ready to die etc. I never find it realistic.

Yeah I do love Rachel but she could be such a mean girl. I’d love to say it was just when it came to Ross but she was the exact same to Charlie when Joey was dating her.

This bothered me too. Especially in regards to Emily and while i ultimately didn’t want Ross/Emily to end up together I hated, HATED how they basically rewrote and vilified Emily to justify Rachel trying to break them up. I know she didn’t go through with it but she was happily ready to move in once Ross managed to mess up on his own. Emily was the only innocent one in that whole drama so I always hated how the made out like she was the one in the wrong.

Not to mention I feel like Burgess is his second check. He’d absolutely still be with Upton if she was into it. Now with the inevitable Upton/Halstead the unit is such an embarrassment.

That makes sense to me as this season is quite pregnancy centric so far. I’d love to see Addison back.

Agreed. They’re nice but bleh. I don’t see them as the amazing Couple that the show seems to think they are. If anything I think they’re a bit over dramatic with the declarations of love and tears etc. Alexa and Ted is my favourite couple outside of Moira and Johnny.

It was weird seeing Hay pop up. Ever since Jesse Lee Soffer and Torrey Devitto parted ways he hasn’t been appearing in every second episode of Med.

Oh god please no to any further Maggie centric episodes. She’s a character who would benefit from the less is more treatment.

I agree on some level. Having done a rewatch it’s evident that they care a lot for each other the whole way through. I think they could just never get passed the issues that broke them up originally - Ross had trust issues and wouldn’t admit this and Rachel rightfully couldn’t deal with his controlling behaviour. They flirted with the idea of getting back together after the baby was born but that ended when Ross deleted that guys number who called Rachel and Rachel made out with Gavin because Rachel felt he was being controlling again... although I think he had a bit of a reason to be mad that she was making out with a coworker while living with him. As usual he just handled it arseways.

I know I know I’m soooo behind but... Another great episode that myself and hubby enjoyed. Linc continues to be awesome. He’s such a great addition to the show. While the writing has greatly improved for Amelia I also think Linc brings out the best in her. Makes me wonder why the writers insisted on wasting so much time with her and Owen.

I also thought season 7 was one of the weaker seasons so eight in comparison was quite good.

At least they’re consistent with Jackson. He moves on at the speed of lightning.

Yeah his voice and everything is so off. I vaguely remember reading that he had to go to rehab at some point during the series but it was years ago so i could be wrong. I always thought the addiction issues weren’t noticeable in his performance but on season seven rewatch it’s glaring.

Also how out of it does Perry seem in season seven. Just watched the first episode and Chandler is so.. off. I know he had addiction issues throughout the series but the season seven opener is one of the first episodes I really thought he seemed different.

Rewatching the squicky mondler proposal episode and on rewatch I think Monica was really inappropriate in going to Richards apartment and entertaining the idea of reuniting with him. I know she came to her senses in the end but she was years with Chandler at this point she shouldn’t have been so torn. Then the whole thing being played off as Chandlers fault was ridiculous. I think she behaved really badly there.
