  1. They certainly seemed to bond over the awkwardness of Vicki's "guest room". :-)
  2. Suzanne and her whack job bio identical hormones ... can take a geo-caching hike in Montana - off camera, please.
  3. You mean, besides torturing an animal for sport? I don't know - fuck North Carolina anyways.
  4. I agree. I loved Phil with all my heart (and all his flaws), but the dredging up of old clips replete with misty memory music is just too much for me to bear when paired with the legacy story Disco & Josh are trying so hard to sell. Perhaps Josh will learn not to pray for Daddy's help finding crabs, considering the dirty lot Phil helped him land on. If the Cornelia Marie starts having catastrophic breakdowns we'll know for sure Phil is pissed. ;-)
  5. Thanks, The Crazed Spruce. I'm a Canadian living in Southern California, and am always on the lookout for a fix from home. I am obsessed with the Pacific Northwest, and Motive is my favorite Canadian show right now. I actually found an obscure local channel that occasionally airs Republic of Doyle repeats, so I'm a happy camper, eh.
  6. So the girls go glamping. Ramona actually wants to go, if only to proclaim it "not as nice as South Africa". Heather wants to stop at their cabin door to take in the view. Ramona says there is no view because of all the trees in the way. Sonja passed out in her "bathing suit" and managed to make me cringe within about 2 seconds of her meeting the unfortunately underpaid 2 cowboy butlers. Kristen and Heather continue their argument. Luann is wearing a bitchin' coat that only an Indian pirate could carry off. Did I miss anything?
  7. Eh, married couples snipe at each other sometimes - they seemed to get over it pretty quickly. Chip did tell Agnes she's always beautiful, and made her giggle, so I guess it works for them. Andy cracks me up. "Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance. The 5 P's." I guess Piss-poor is hyphenated. :-)
  8. So far I am really enjoying the show, and don't mind the hour long format at all. I also enjoy watching scenes from shows I don't follow - although those mostly confirm my pre-conceived notions about shows I'm not much interested in. :-) It's the watchers' reactions and chatter that I'm tuning in to see.
  9. As soon as they set up a town to walk in, I'll bet one or two did. Although South Dakota isn't Montana, I'd hazard to guess they dressed in similar fashion; check out the C********* Couture thread over on the Deadwood forum to see some elaborate clothing. :-)
  10. I just watched the excellent PBS series American Experience on Freedom Summer; it was absolutely riveting.
  11. Oh, noes, beckie! :-( I finally got to see what you were all talking about when they featured clips from Cry Wolfe on The People's Couch. OMG, it is even worse than I thought!!! I actually liked the last 2 cases they covered on Last Seen Alive; probably because both people were found (albeit one dead).
  12. I tune in now just to see how far Joe crawls up Matt's ass. This week did not disappoint as Joe shyly allows Matt to make him a loincloth. Golden! New Zealand scenery is specfuckingtacular. And sadly: In Memory of Alexander Teti who passed during the filming of this episode 1926 - 2014. Condolences, Joe.
  13. Surely the "investors" must realize that website traffic does not equate to sales, since I'd imagine much of that traffic is just people who watch the show and are curious, not interested in buying anything. More selection will not change this.
  14. You spill the best British tea, heebiejeebie! :-) I liked looking at all the hats at the party. I think more women would wear them if they weren't so afraid of hat hair (or hat forehead stippling). I live in SoCal and have a battered old straw sunhat I wear - ladies are always stopping me to ask where I got it (it has really cool feathers around the hatband area, and cost me $1 at a garage sale - held together with hot glue!).
  15. I was most disappointed in Wild Bill and Zack for not taking the concussion more seriously. That greenhorn could have a life threatening brain bleed. I'm not interested in watching Josh, but am especially offended by them trotting out the tribute to Phil's ghost every damned time. Just stop, Disco.
  16. Awesome job, MMLEsq! I will never remember all these names, but am so happy to have this list to refer back to. Thanks.
  17. Funches makes me laugh every time he giggles; I just can't help it. I snorted at "#YesAllGoats".
  18. Ramona's churlish attitude is getting on my last nerve. Her idea of fun seems to consist of getting drunk in posh places and flirting with Sonja, who is sure to be even drunker and more embarrassing than her. They can both go away and take that ass Aviva with them.
  19. As long as the pandemic only infects humans, I'm OK with it. (Don't hurt the dog, don't hurt the dog!). :-) I've been burned by countless summer shows, so I have very low expectations, which have been met. So I guess that means I'm in ...
  20. Does that "not putting up a defense" tactic ever work with juries? Because calling no witnesses, especially those who could offer a rebuttal to the so-called "evidence" presented by the prosecution, seems supremely risky.
  21. Our beloved Joe Kenda (not the one on that Got Away With It crap!) will return in August, TheEditrixHasSpoken.
  22. Yes, I'd imagine they are both a mass of scars; I think Jen's Mom said Jen has had 30 surgeries (many of those were in childhood). Hell, I'm 60 and have never had surgery other than dental and one outpatient arthroscopy (so most of my scars are emotional). :-)
  23. I'd love to see a litter of baby raccoons being rehabbed. They are so much fun to watch; curious, playful and extremely cute. Also, any kind of wild baby birds - they are adorable, and it is really interesting to see how quickly they go from helpless naked little syringe fed poopers to funny little feathered fledglings with attitudes that belie their tiny size. Some wild bird rehabbers have a stock answer when asked what their favorite baby bird is: "Whichever one I'm holding (and/or feeding)". :-) I watch a lot of those wild animal shows about rescue & rehab centers; the latest one I just saw was about sloths - they were totally weird and weirdly cute. :-)
