I loved Dr. Kildare, but Ben Casey was my true crush (even as a little girl, my instincts were good). Chris in the Morning on Northern Exposure. Titus Pullo on Rome. Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

Yes, the juxtaposition between the way Hearst talks about his beloved Aunt Lou like he's a little boy at her knee and the menacing threat he is when she worries for her son speaks volumes.
-
Aunt Lou was developing interesting relationships with Richardson, N***** General, and even Jewel. She also served as a stark reminder of just what kind of a sociopath Hearst was.

Ronald McDonald convinced me clowns were creepy.

There is a Deadliest Catch - Behind the Lens: 10 Years in the Making special airing tonight after the "On Deck" repeat of the season finale. I always enjoy the behind the scenes specials; I hope this one is great.

Ditto on Nowhere to Hide, which was a most pleasant surprise. I've scheduled the Cyber show to record on Saturday, so if I get bored enough I might watch a few minutes for the yuck factor. :-) The countdown to Kenda continues ...

Gina Liano...the barrister

FACTS is the reason she gives for not believing in psychic abilities, yet she believes Janet is talking to a demon. Alrighty then. -
I inject fucking into the middle of words, so the frequency didn't strike me as odd, at all. ;-) Ellesworth - I had such a pure and simple love for that decent man. Argh, indeed.

I immediately thought of this thread when I watched the show this morning, ABay. Hilarious. -
S01.E01: Richard Blais vs. Marcel Vigneron
walnutqueen replied to FormerMod-a1's topic in Top Chef Duels [V]
I have an automatic response to Marcel (it involves the desire to bitchslap) that I try to ignore, as it is totally irrational. I've never really disliked Richard, aside from his douchiness about the Stephanie win, either. That said, I wasn't rooting for anyone and thought the competition was contrived. Anyone who makes my dinner smell of Vicks VaporRub is going home (unless I'm in my childhood bed sick with a cold & I get homemade chicken soup with that chest rub from Mom or Oma). Apparently Richard needs to spend a little more time absorbing the San Diego chill factor. I think I remember reading that he had moved his family here, and his restaurant seems to be doing well; it must be his other 6 that are stressing him so. Too much on his plate, perhaps? -
I'm so glad I can't afford to travel and stay anywhere (not that I would, because the critters need feeding here!). Funny how my own dirty house doesn't offend me (much), but the thought of a stranger's filth? Yikes! This place had such a gorgeous setting. What's not to love about tall trees and a river, eh. But the story of this family seemed a little skunkweed to me.

Probably to rule out a sinus problem (since her head's so far up her ass). ETA: Oops, shoegal beat me to the punchline! Great minds, fools & all that. :-) -

Yes. British usage, I believe. -
Good thing you didn't grow up in the Pacific Northwest, emotionally stunted, like me!

Just watched the house hunting in Honolulu, Hawaii, and I've just got to say I fell a little in love with the realtor who offered to feed and care for the bird that the owner couldn't take with them. Guess I'm a sucker for animals. :-) I hope the house hunters warm up to the little birdie and spend some time with him/her.

You'd think so, but I obviously watched too many reruns of ER to see Carter as a total badass. :-) Grizzly Adams [/whisper]

I thought that's what they made those bendy straws for, TattleTeeny. ;-) -
I'm going to share a deep dark secret with y'all, because it's Christmas, and you always tell the truth ... I didn't dislike Laurie or Andrea, and I don't dislike Beth, either. I like my women human, flawed and complicated, just like the men. I find something to empathize with in almost all the women of TWD - although I'm not yet feeling Rosita ...

S01.E01: First Impressions
walnutqueen replied to Meredith Quill's topic in The Real Housewives Of Melbourne [V]
So one of the busy birds is writing a book about how to be a working mother, and make long lists of chores for the dozens of nannies and household help at your disposal? I'm sure the working mothers of the world will be ever so appreciative of her expert advise. ;-) Psychic bird needs an e-cig, stat. Trying on your old wedding dress so minion can fawn over your figure 3 whole years later is so fucking lame. Luanne's pirate gigolo looked like Johnny Depp - the musician husband, not so much. Silverchair; international rock superstar?!? I must be out of touch. He needs to wash his greasy hair, too. I need to see the barrister bird in her little while curlywig. My dead grandmother IS a demon.
