  1. I don't even understand that. Why not have all of them? I honestly would love to watch LA Law again, I was totally into it back in the day. I won't though if it's not the whole show.
  2. Well what does one say to that ending? It was sad but beautiful. I will hope we get another season and hope Aziraphale can come to understand some things but if not, I'm okay with the ending. We don't always see the light right away, and some never do. I have to admit that I just don't "get" John Hamm, I don't think he's that funny or good looking but I did love the end with him and Beelzebub. They really sold that sweet romance in a small amount of time. I think I would have liked him so much more in the role if we had seen more of it throughout the show but I get why narratively it had to be held to the end though. The acting was so lovely throughout from David Tennant and Michael Sheen. Others have stated it much better than me so I will just leave it there. I do need to bitch about the one thing that did irritate me though and that was how dismissive Nina was about Maggie's record shop. I really struggled to like that character. And furthermore, ahem, vinyl is back in a big way so that whole thing about her store being so dead made no sense! You ought to see my husband trying to fight get the good stuff at the estate sales. So much competition now. If this were 15, 20, years ago then yeah. We could get records for a dime at yard sales and it was awesome, lol.
  3. See, my problem with this show is Conrad. He really lives up to his old man from 1892 name. What a drip. I actually do sympathize with Belly. As a person that did turn pretty between being 14 and 15 all of a sudden I had so much attention. All of it is confusing and at 16 I can see her being torn between them. I very much doubt this is where the show is going but I'm team Jelly. You know until they all grow up and find someone else in college or at their job like the way things usually are. Her calling her mom crying did make me sad for her. She is still just a kid who needs her mama. On another note I cracked up when the DJ guy changed the music for the fight. Loved the look on his face.

    Loki In The Media

Ikr!?! 😁😁😁 Same. The trailer does look good but here's hoping there's way more Loki and Mobius together and way less Sylvie. I am more excited now after watching it than I have been about this show.
  5. It took me a while to get through it even though I really did like it. It just wasn't a page turner like the other two. I did love that The whole time I was reading it though, I was picturing it vividly. I think it would make a great movie and Nurse Ratched was just gold.
  6. This was my favorite R.I.P
  7. How are we supposed to pick a favorite??? Shatner's Creek Better Call Cthulhu Fargo But In Space
  8. Well, it was nice to see them having some fun like actual teenagers. I'm sure Aunt Julia has her reasons for wanting to sell but damn, that was a bitch move to do to grieving boys.
  9. I'd suggest I'm With the Band by Pamela Des Barres, an actual groupie of the era. Whether you agree with the culture or not, I thought it was interesting read. It's been a long time since I read it but I remember enjoying her writing style.
  10. Oops, I forgot about it. It twas this: At first I sang Happy Birthday which was what was suggested, but that ain't my jam. With this one you get to make up funny shit to sing to your cat. And that chorus is a classic.
  11. Belly needs to wake up to the fact that Conrad is never going to just tell her what's going on with him, she's always going to have to fight for it. Whereas she is a tell it like it is person. Let it go girl. I really love Taylor, I'm glad she's there with them now. Her and Belly's friendship is the actual heart of the show for me.
  12. Big Eyes ended up being my favorite too. I loved that she showed a real capability for the job. I also think the actress that played Dulcie was very very good. Loved her simmering frustration with all the shit she had to deal with. Eddie was quite funny when she toned it down some but I get what they were going for, she was not dealing well with Bushy's death. Her getting Dulce to wear "the shoes" at the end was hilarious. Here's hoping "Sexy" gives Cath the boot if there is a season 2. They are not a good fit.
  13. I did read this one, and the Aristotle and Dante one that I just saw was getting a movie. I love that these movies are getting made and I'm crossing my fingers that my absolute favorite, The Carry On Simon Snow series, will get made too. I'd rather have a show for that though. Anyway, this looks like fun and I'll definitely be watching.
  14. Oh no, not Ray! He was an awesome psycho though.
  15. OH HELL NO. How dare those dick nuggets use You're The Voice as their rallying cry. 😆 Yep, I was starting to think we'd been misdirected and it was a man. I hope it's the Douche and if it's not I hope he's the final victim. I think either it's Margaret's brother or she was sent his tongue. Either way something is going on in that island cemetery and she knows it. I wonder if those jars she was giving away a couple of episodes ago contain tongue meat. 🤮
  16. This had made for a fun Question of the Day. Come on over and let us know!
  17. Mz Peaches posted this in chit-chat and I thought it would make a fun QotD. What did you sing? My answer to come. I'll bet nobody else has it. 😁
  18. I agree with Cath being a weird choice. It could be anyone else but I will seriously side eye if it's Cath. It would come out of nowhere and would make no sense. I also wonder if we're getting misdirected and it is a man. Either way, I'm enjoying that I have no idea who it is! I usually pick the killer by ep. 2 of something.
  19. That's fucking cool.
  20. I've been thinking maybe the therapist, I don't remember her name. She's been in the show but low key. I think she was the one running the naked on the beach thing. Not sure what that was all about. I am thinking about watching again if I have time. I know there's stuff I'd probably catch 2nd time around.
  21. That makes sense. I can't remember everything on this show, there's a lot going on! I feel like something was mentioned at one point about nobody having seen Margaret's brother for a while. I believe it's him in that portrait with her that we've seen a couple of times. I almost feel like I want to go back and watch the show again, I'm feeling like I've missed some things. Dulcie & Cath. I really don't like Cath. I think maybe as a person she's probably quite nice but as a wife she's very insecure and all her actions are because of that. I don't think she's someone terrible but like I said before, these two people are a bad match. I'm more a Dulcie type and I would not be able to handle my SO dropping by my work all the time and just making all the decisions without me. I'd be mental.
  22. Okay, you know I was expecting a body to float up not bodies. That was a shocker. Where was it that Miranda got her earrings? Can't remember. I feel like it was the shrink lady that I should have mentioned last post that I have on my killer list. And why is it I wonder that Margaret doesn't want anyone in that cemetery? Her brother is there is my guess. Pardon me if I got any names wrong, I'm terrible with them. I think this episode was the funniest one yet, I lol'd several times. I think because Eddie's toned down some now she's much funnier. I still love her and Ray, and Big Eyes still needs to dump the Douche. I hope he's the killer cause I can't stand him. 🤞 Please don't be Ray 🤞
  23. So, out of everyone we've seen, Skye seems to be the only person with the smarts to be the SK, but with 3 episodes to go it's not likely. The only other one I would think is the rich lady. I definitely do not like Dulcie and Cath together. I can see why Cath is insecure if she'd been cheated on and I think that's why she calls Dulcie Sexy. Like she's laying her claim. She does at least voice her problems but Dulcie acts like she can barely stand her. They don't seem a good match. Also, Big Eyes needs to break up with the Douche. As far as Eddie goes, she was too much for me in the first few episodes but when she put that cardboard shoe on, I started to love her. Now she's wearing all that hideous outdoor gear and it's just hilarious. I also love whatever thing she's got going on with soft spoken dude. I also love whenever the two teen girls are in a scene. And Sven. Him locked in the toilet reading that awful screenplay was the best.
  24. Growing up watching 30+ playing teens in Grease I guess I'm immune to older people playing teens in these shows. Plus I have two sons who pretty much have looked the same from 16 to 30. My oldest is just now starting to show some age at 35. So I had no problem with Paxton, I thought the actor was really good at showing Paxton's sweet heart even with being a douchey teen at times. I really enjoyed the whole cast and I hope to see them all again. I had only known Ramona Young when it started. ETA: Oops. I did know Sendhil and Niecy. I need to be accurate.
  25. This show just gets me with the family moments. Always so well done. I'm really gonna miss it, I loved Devi and all her craziness. I see good things for the actress, she could just break my heart with the scenes about her dad. I also enjoyed the friendship of the girls and agree with you guys that this season needed more Fab. I missed Manish too, I just love him as Jay on Ghosts. As to the Ben thing, I don't really care one way or the other. I would have preferred them staying friends but the ending didn't bother me. As was said up thread, I picture McEnroe talking about their breakup in the near future. And speaking of McEnroe, anybody that's read my posts at all knows that I enjoyed the hell out of him and I think it was brilliant getting him to narrate Devi's thoughts. He killed it on the very last line too.
