  1. I am so glad I looked in this forum. I wondered since they brought back Intervention if they may reconsider on Hoarders. I have had to resort to watching Buried Alive which does not hold a candle to Hoarders. When it first aired I didn't watch. Back in the 80's I was doing community social work and had a couple of hoarder clients but back then there was such a thing or illness of hoarding. I eventually caught a show and was hooked. I hired an organizer to help me clear out a few things and organize a couple of spaces after I retired (no I am not a hoarder). She worked on a show that was shot in our city and still stays in touch with the man to help him keep up with his place.
  2. Catch old shows on Sunday (I don't watch scary things at night, I live alone). I really don't believe most of these stories, they rarely show any real proof but some of the stories are pretty creepy. However the background music is so annoying. It is more like background dialog to accompany the loud music.
  3. Mother of the year!
  4. I have not been tempted to snack during this one. Yikes.
  5. Every show is bringing me tears but I thought I might make it through this one. But no, damn you Norm. I have recorded every show of his since 1985. I am not sure what I will do now with that extra hour.
  6. Danny and Amy are having a baby. http://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/90-day-fiance-couple-danny-and-amy-frishmuth-pregnant-with-first-child-2015155 Son due next month.
  7. I love this show but this season was a sorefest. I really hope they don't try this blind date twist again. I am impressed that a couple of the blind date teams managed to work so well together. That being said, it was just not a fun or even dramatic season. I didn't even care who won so I am ok with the Tyler and Laura winning. Going in I was hoping for Rochelle and Mike but as soon as they left their cab I knew that would be their downfall. They didn't tell him to wait (or they didn't show them telling him) but something about that scene made me think they had not.
  8. That was sure a love fest. It is nice that the kids are exposed to people outside of the family.
  9. Worst gender reveal party ever. If I were the fellows I would have choked Sierra. She does not seem to understand winter, they froze at Jessa's awful outdoor reception and tonight they had to paint flamingos and then drill holes in the ground. I bet they boys hope they get a better planner before the next big event. I too think Anna and Josh are a good match and seem to enjoy being together and with their kids.
  10. This show made me feel more optimistic for the little ones and future Dillards. Pass the rose colored glasses. I was glad to see Derrick's mom so involved and her gift was so sweet and touching. The guys going to the shower was funny and it was nice to see Derrick is still close to his brother and mother to counter balance the Duggar craziness. I enjoyed seeing the little girls flop those babies around when Michelle was trying to teach them how to take care of babies. Jennifer made it clear she was way over taking care of babies. Some of the boys seem to be humorous in their talking heads. But I was mostly happy that Derrick is still promoting education so that gives me hope his kids will be encouraged to be more than baby making Duggars and even Jill was talking about maybe having another Pistol Pete.
  11. I am very late to watching this show so I liked this retrospective. Interesting things for me; the fashion for the kids (and even Michelle) has vastly improved, I like JB and Michelle better before they started playing to the camera, JB does seem like he really loves and enjoys his kids (though he needs to let them go). At first I didn't recognize Michelle during Marcus' birth, she looked really nice.
  12. It was nice to see Mindie meet up with Samantha at rehab. I hope she does well. Her mom was just too busy and no one dealing with her sexual abuse accusations was crappy. She seemed to have some self awareness and a tiny bit of remorse. Katherine I did not get at all. I think I may have missed something in her story, if not she is just a selfish liar. Her poor kids.
  13. Not to defend the Duggars but I have trouble believing anything from Radar Online. There is probably some truth in there but I really don't buy they took the food back.
  14. I don't know why but I hate Tiny House Hunters and their tiny houses. It is irrational. I did not grow up in giant houses and had to share a room with one or tow other siblings. I have lived in some very small places, mostly as a child but also a few small cottages and apartments. I wish my present house was a bit smaller but not Too small.
  15. Yeah, I was thinking he was such an ass but he did manage to come through. I was also not too fond of her, not sure why. I was however surprised by how great she looked at the phone call. I wish they would go back to doing visits instead. She unlike most at the phone looked so alive and happy. Glad she is still sober and hope she keeps it up.
  16. Several episodes showing all afternoon on Destination America. I have probably seen them all. I never understand why people stay in their house even when they claim to have been attacked. I have learned a few things; never buy a Victorian, do not remodel any old house you do buy, don't play with ouija boards and never taunt a spirit.
  17. I do not understand why DC follows the Saga and Elliot when there are other far more competent, deserving and interesting boats to follow. If they really want to keep this show going they need to toss Elliot and add a far more likable boat that people will cheer for and tune in to watch.
  18. I cannot stand to think of TV without Dave. I have recorded (VCR way back when and now DVR) his shows since the 80s. I like his list, loved Amy last night. I hope Bill Murray is on his last show, very fitting. I wish Bonnie Hunt would have also been on the list. She was always great with him.
  19. Duggar story on Access Hollywood, nothing new. http://www.accesshollywood.com/the-duggars-by-the-numbers_video_2740137
  20. I feel so bad for his Dad. On the look back show I teared up for his dad. I think it might be time for some tough love from his dad.
  21. Sad face. Now what, I hate everyone else. For several years I keep saying I am not going to watch because it just hasn't been good. Yet I keep watching. I so want the blues broken now. This has been a boring season and looks to stay that way.
  22. I too laughed out loud when Justin said that. I could have done without the rest of the show.
  23. Here is the People article with a little more about Marjorie. http://www.people.com/article/josiah-duggar-courtship-marjorie-jackson-what-to-know TLC's get to know Josiah. http://www.tlc.com/tv-shows/19-kids-and-counting/about-the-show/get-to-know-josiah-duggar-the-latest-duggar-to-begin-a-courtship/?mkcpgn=fbtlc1&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=19Kids&Counting
  24. Her father's FB page says they live in Springdale, Arkansas. Not only is Marjorie pictured in jeans, her mother is in jeans in a couple year old family picture. Though they are too young, it is nice to see him involved with a little more "worldly" family.
  25. They are way too young to get married hope it is long or failed courtship. He looks older than 18.
