Michelle does write a blog for their website and if you recall from the advice to new wives she should probably not be writing anything. They have an about us section on their blog where they talk about how they got started and it seems they also write one for the Bates.

Those guys don't seem to know their Duggars. Josh can get into enough trouble without being blamed for something Josiah is doing.

I tried googling and found many pictures of street and arch but I could not find any exactly the same as what he posted. I think he took the picture and they are in Antigua. Not trying to defend them because I am not keen on their type of missionary work.

I had to watch last night's tiny house hunter in Columbus since I live in Columbus. I knew he would not get the tiny house because he kept talking about finding a space for it near the Short North. There are no lots and if there where it would have cost more than he had and snapped up by a developer. I hate tiny house hunters but I really enjoyed those guys especially since he did not buy the tiny house. However tonight's Fl family who had financial problems brought out my irrational tiny house rage. That tiny house was awful. There is something fishy that they moved it on the property of their house that they are trying to sale. Huh? Why not stay in the house until you sale it? They will have to move their tiny house again which was not easy. I just wonder if that house belongs to family or friends. That whole situation is odd.

Derick tweeted about walking to Spanish class and there was an instagram picture of probably Guatemala street. I believe they are back in Central America and don't think they will be back for the birth. There was the picture of Derick's mom on the plane with them so maybe when she comes back to the US Jill will return with her, though I doubt that.

The article was not really definitive about Jill's role in the delivery. It was just a bad article.

I am in tears every episode. I was in NOLA for the first time this summer for a long weekend I wish I could have visited VRC. I wondered about Earl's arm since they talked about it a season or two ago. Hope it helps at least get rid of the pain.

What is wrong with me? I will go with curious about people. Every time there is a link to instagram or such of other parts of the family I have to go look then I notice something and look at many of their pictures. Just now I spent several minutes looking at Jessica Seawalds IG. She is wearing shorts, jeans, swim suits, There was an older pic of her with Bin and they are side hugging, she comments she does not believe in side hugs. Then someone comments if she just wore dresses because she was on 19Ks. She said at that time she lived with her parents and dressed to respect their wishes but now she is on her own she dresses and acts based on her own convictions. She is still conservative so Jessa take note, maybe someday you can decide how to dress and live instead of living how your parents tell you.

Intouch is saying Anna and the four kids are in Fl. Guess they have not seen any of the pictures of the kids at the Duggars.

The comments are pretty harsh, though the first one made me laugh. "Sweet Jinger deserves to have her name spelled correctly"

I don't believe that article. Was/is Anna ever in Fl visiting her family? The Duggars posted a picture of baby M with JB at Lowe's this weekend. I have not seen anything to verify Anna is in Fl.

I agree with this. Many christians feel this way and truly believe they are called to bring the "truth" to others, forgetting the part about helping others with no strings attached. I too hope they are exposed to others brand of Christianity and as they mature they can loosen up and be more open minded. I don't know why, but I do still have hope for them. I will probably be disappointed but someday I just know one of those Duggar kids will make a break.

I went to one of my church's colleges and met many MKs (missionary kids). They were actually more liberal and open minded than most other students. They had a deep love and respect for the people they grew up with on the mission field. They also were open to incorporating the culture's traditions and beliefs into Christian traditions. Missions from the denomination did lots of good things but they still did start churches and minister to the soul. They also built schools, clinics, homes, etc. I wish Jill and Derick's mission was more like that but who knows they may hook up with a more service oriented group in the future. Or better yet, come back to the states and work with and help the needy in this country (anyplace but Arkansas). I have not been into organized religion for a long time and have always been very liberal but I don't have a problem with missionaries. I do understand and partially agree with those who do not think mission work is right or ethical.

The use of the word "home" as well as "extended family" stuck out to me. Even though they are making trips back to the states it does seem like they are distancing and creating their own family unit. It was nice to see Joy look so happy, I am sure she misses Jill a lot and it has to be great for her to be away from the chaos created by Josh. Too bad she can't stay with them longer. I am not the keen on the type of mission they seem to be doing but am encouraged to see they have done some construction as well. Hopefully as they are more established they will do more to actually help people with their physical needs. This is a good thing for Dillards, I hope they mature and open their minds to things beyond the Duggar indoctrination. I am not being Pollyanna but I do believe in people's ability to grow and change when they are exposed to more things in the world.

I have no problem with them being on the special. The seminar was much more than they televised so I am hoping that Jill, Jessa and even Michelle learned something from being there and listening to the presenters and other attendees. They did not say anything to detract from the message, their involvement as shown was not much so it didn't hurt or help. I think any exposure they have to others is potentially a good thing for them and at least an opportunity. I can't judge them for what they said in the Fox interview either. It was a long time ago and they may have forgiven him and let go because they felt they had to or because they wanted to. Suddenly it is brought out for all to know and they have to re-deal with it. Maybe they didn't do it well but that is a lot to put on them. I hope they did get outside help as they stated. JB and Michelle's lack of protection and appropriate response is something I will criticize but not the victims.

Yes to this and what Fuzzysox said. What struck me was in one of her blogs she was writing about how her parents encouraged and supported their children's interests and talents as well as pushing them to not give up as they did with her piano lessons. This is so different than the hand off parenting of M & JB who don't seem to encourage their kids to do anything but stay under their control. It does seem so odd that the Jackson's would have been ok with the whole courtship thing. Maybe they knew it would be a passing thing. Must admit I am curious as to how it came about and ended. I know they must have liked Si since he was spending so much time apprenticing (or whatever they considered it) with Mr. Jackson.

They were too young for such a serious relationship so it is good it ended but still feel bad for Si. I would have liked to have seen what they already filmed about the courtship.

Yeah, I don't see much hope for Laura. She is so selfish. I feel so bad for her daughter. Why did it take him so long to take action? He probably would not have trouble getting custody since she already lost custody of her 3 other kids.

That was hard to watch because of all the rats. I hate mice and rats worse than anything. How did she live with them and not get sick? That was such a sad story. It said the couple had not auctioned Michelle's dolls yet. I would be all over that for $500,000. I thought it was odd that mother and daughter both had such colorful hair and even grandma had a very unnatural red.
