I recorded Dave since 80s and then Craig when he came on. I think I am still in mourning. I have watched many of James shows but I have not yet put it on record.

First Craig left then Dave. I guess I should just go to bed early now.

I just can't understand the allure of tiny houses. I have a few friends who want to get one. When I watch Tiny House Hunters I get this irrational anger especially when it was the family of 6. Those poor teens, the parents kept saying the kids will love this. Yeah, no. A teen girl loves to share a loft with her 3 siblings. No privacy. The other thing I hate about tiny houses is no privacy. Everyone can hear you going to the bathroom (unless it is an outdoor toilet). I once rented a tiny little cottage and the meniscal bathroom was right off the living room. If I had guest anyone going to the bathroom would turn on the water to try to cover any sounds.

I am not a fan of The Bait, I miss the old After the Catch with Mike Rowe interviewing. So tired of Josh and his talk about his dad's legacy. He really is not comfortable in the captain's chair. The CM was always a fun boat to followed when Phil was alive, now I barely pay attention when they show the CM. I feel bad for Jonathan that Scotty was fired. I was actually surprised Andy fired him. I understand him being mad at Scotty but why couldn't he just say No and chew him out or not let him work with Andy but allowing him to work with his dad during king season. There has to be a lot more going on than that incident.

The old Bobby Mackey episode is on now. I have not seen it, I have seen it featured on other shows.

Not a fan of the live show but I think the rest of the season will be like old times. I really do not like the TLC version so I am happy to see A&E/Lifetime version back. See you all next week. Grab a rock and make some plans for it.

Not trying to defend JB & M but I think printing anonymous stories is pretty crappy and doubt the legitimacy of them. Even the one about the woman looking like a boy, I doubt JB saw the movie or read the book to be able to come up with that reference. I really disagree with their beliefs and philosophies but I don't like anonymous pot shots. I am sure there are lots of true stories that are just as bad but at least put your name to it.

I think this was a one time thing for the premiere. I did not really care for the live part. That guy had such a flat affect, he might have just been scared but I think it will not be an easy one. I was eating guacamole because that kind of stuff doesn't bother me. I was a social worker and in my early career I have a few clients who were hoarder but that was before it had a name or diagnosis. However the mice floating in the yellow toilet water was just too icky.

I doubt there was a trial. As someone else stated it was most likely a petition to change or end certain stipulations or requirements by CPS. It may have been filed because he did the requirements CPS put in place and he was no longer a minor. At least that is what happens my state but I do know CPS rules and laws vary in differing states. The one good thing if this was a petition that would mean there had been CPS involvement. *Edited way too late to correct typos.

According to the old post from Alice, they were already with CPS and having to report in every 6 months. That might be what the sealed case is about that was Josh vs The Department of Human Services . Real CPS cannot address cases they may or may not have.

CPS records are not subject to public record request. They are totally confidential, in most states they can only be shared if a judge orders, as related to a hearing.

I think Ben's dad's post was kind of a balancing act. I think he was trying to be supportive of Jessa without upsetting her world. I am ok with most of what he was saying. If he had been too anti-duggar/Josh. It may have been too harsh for her. Hopefully she will find support and comfort with her in-laws.

Not fond of this episode. Glad to see Jake doing well and soon to be dad. Over Elliot . Also over Josh. I remember Phil in the hospital talking about Jake taking over for him and Josh ding something different. I think he was right if only his sons would cooperate.

This reunion show sucks. Why does it take that long to reveal the new cast? Remember how much fun reunions used to be? Talking to all or most of the players, now they wasted so much time on Dan and Will. Ugh!

I am kind of new to this show the last 3 or so seasons. Josh said he and Anna did full hugs, did they also hold hands while courting? I should watch some old episodes. Yeah they tried to make the courting rules sound less crazy than they actually are. They say the couple can decide but I imagine they feel pressured. Wonder what Si and Marjorie's rules will be. That interview was pretty lame but I am not a fan of Erica.
