  1. It's basically a service that helps you keep all your streaming services in order and helps you find the best deals. Streaming is already the new cable. This helps you manage it better. A lot of people have one service here and on there. Paramount through Roku. Hbomax through youtubetv. Another service through prime video. It gets confusing after a while. There are already services like this. Truebill for example.
  2. Two completely different situations seeing as though they worked together and bound to root for each other. I never really care how people react to losing as long as it's not actual outrage because it's not that important. These people are human beings, not perfect beings. We will always have moments where we can't hide the hurt or disappointment. I don't need them to pretend for my or anyone else's benefit either.
  3. Of course. But, they also mostly get what they want. To get followers and live a certain lifestyle without really having to work. You got to pay the toll. There is always a trade off. It's not always money.
  4. Nothing wrong with being thick or curvy. Owning it may work best. We all have our insecurities. But, not everything is an attack. Also, any body type can be thick. It doesn't mean fat. There is also the fact that women could request or talk about a dudes appearance all they want on this show. But, don't dare flip it. Part of the process pre selection will involve appearance. But, then, there is having to deal with what you actually do get. It's tricky. They are going to be asked certain questions so nany times. In reality, no one would be hearing these talking heads.
  5. Which is what I pointed out. There is no way they didn't get paid anappearance fees. It's not like no one got paid. The idea that this a competitive reality show is a joke to me as well. They were never promised any cash prize at any point. I also don't see it as exploration either. It's barely a game show and finding a real mate was supposed to he the main prize. If they had said at some point the winner gets x amount of money like Big Brother or The Challenge does and didn't pay out, that would be effed up. Most of these people make high salaries to just influence people to buy junk. They are all fine.
  6. I'm sure they also get paid for being on the show. They all got an all expenses paid vacation for a couple of weeks. Most of these people don't even work. They just do crap that other reality show people do and make a living doing very little. Thus, I don't care how much they got paid. They weren't underpaid workers. They are a bunch of people that don't even need to be paid to do a show like this.
  7. When I talk about the preacher, I'm saying the things he did and said are the rough part of the episode for me. A horse getting shot is not. People die everyday. In this universe its almost always tragic or violent. So, i don't feel anymore upset because it's a horse. I'm not happy about it. The horse didn't deserve it. My reaction was just, oh that sucks. No one is shedding tears over the preacher. I could watch that on a loop. David probably ushered them elsewhere before it all went down. As someone pointed out, I love that this compound wasn't a breeding ground for more side characters. This is not their story. The story is always Joel and Ellie no matter what. So, we get a snippet of their lives. That's all we need. What happens to them afterwards isn't really our concern. They are free at least.
  8. I will never really understand the visceral reactions people have to animals dying to the point where one will be fine with dozens of humans being mudereded over one dog but I assure you that you are not alone. I flinched would I saw the horse got shot because I knew for some, that would be cause outrage. Not anywhere as much as anything the preacher did. HBO, in particular, would not be in the game of putting horses in any real danger after what happened on the set of that show Luck. Isn't wasn't good. Many horses were harmed. Just don't turn off the show. It's part of the shows runtime. You can also watch the aftershow and the official podcast for each episode on hbomax's YouTube channel.
  9. Well I'm not looking to be impressed so that's helps me. In the year 2023, we've basically seen it all. I'm hooked on these characters so investment in there. That's what is important to me. To those wondering why Tommy's wife went so hard on Ellie about trust and what's out there....here ya go. You just never know. I don't care at all that Joel slightly recovered pretty quickly. I'm just glad he's up and about for now. My favorite father and daughter combo are back and on their way. I love how we get to see how ruthless Joel really is. No need for flashbacks to hid early days. I 💯 percent it. I appreciate that we've seen multiple sides of humans dealing with this new world in one season. They all make sense. They are also not all bad.
  10. It is better. Thick means you have Curves. You have actual body instead of a stick figure. You can be in great shape and still be thick. It's not an insult within itself. But, most things can be an insult if you want to take it that way.
  11. The whole this person is gay thing with this show has got to stop. Every season, somehow, someone is repressing their sexuality and not once has anyone been proven right on that. People like what they like. People act how they act. It doesn't ever have to equal one thing or the next. I know people find it shocking but he may not be attracted to Jasmine. Neither am I. The jacked up teeth dies play a part in it. But, I'm no male model. Understanding that doesn't change my attractions to others. I'm just tired of hearing them talk about it.
  12. That means nothing in a world where kids don't really even have a childhood. This is not our world. We can't put our worldview on them. These kids had to grow up really quick. They also don't talk any different than your average teenager anyway.
  13. Well...you hadn't been to a mall in ages. They had a bunch of different types of stores in malls in 03. They still do. Not all malls are designed the same and malls hadn't hit their complete downturn yet when in 2003. It was still filled with people and had something for almost anybody.
  14. Damn, that's a lot of aging. Why did that boy even take Charlene on that date? He already made it clear during those speed dates her outgoing/sexual nature was too much for him. Literally wasting time there. Did Charlene's son always have that accent? It was odd to me. Keli is almost single handely trying to play into what many people thought they were getting with a show like this. Of course one boy massaged his mom. But, since he has ears, he had to know it was his mom so why not hold back? I can't take Joey. The boy is 20. No one is doing anything with him.
  15. On Kristen front, that defense is nonsense 3 years (2 years because if filming) into this. I still don't believe that's her real place. Shaq and the cameras will never leave it.
  16. He literally lives in the same building Gina does. And viewers who know Clint have come forward about where he works. It's a huge company that probably doesn't want to be a part of this.
  17. He normally says it to couples that say they wanted that like Chris of Paige and Chris. Black people are generally the ones that come on and say they are looking to be in a power couple, I'm looking for my king or queen and looking to grow their legacy via kids. That's just an observation. I am black and I mean no disrespect. I think a lot of it is just regurgitated rhetoric they've heard elsewhere.
  18. That's not pretty common at all. It especially depends on where you live and other variables like the complex itself.
  19. Gina - unwilling to really ever talk about her part in the mess on the honeymoon and putting their marriage at a standstill while Clint is at least trying. Domynique - completely checked out and thinks she has no flaws. Also, not willing to bend at all. Kirsten- the woman who has been mentally checked out since she saw a damn bald head Nicole and Jasmine are fine. So I'll be over her on the opposite side of the wall. I feel like he's almost self sabotaging because he's waiting for the other shoe to drop instead of just accepting that they are a good match.
  20. She's not a freak. He won't say it but he has completely shutdown romantically since she wouldn't vibe with him about sex talk.
  21. I haven't actually fast forwarded through anything on this due to cringe but Ryan and his mom confronting...Stephany? That did it. Although, the oral simulation was in fact the most cringe. That and Charlene nearly in tears talking about how important that stupid sex exercise was.
  22. Every success Tommy had stung him. It reminded him of how much Tommy distanced himself from Joel. It probably also reminds him what he could of had with Tess. This is all the benefit of following Joel and Ellie's journey. I'm not going to judge Maria for her caution. We know Joel. From the outside looking in and with whatever messed up stuff Maria has seen, she is probably always on high alert with strangers. Her approach wasn't great but if she had been right, it was good for her strike during the minimal time when Ellie and Joel were separated. Exactly
  23. Well....she might. Not about Joel personally but trust is probably the hardest thing to do in this world so she may understand things Ellie doesn't. Also, she only knows Joel through Tommy. Joel probably sounds dodgy as fuck with only that knowledge. I love that this episode was like one season of walking dead but without the usual fuckery going on under the surface.
  24. Tons of complexes don't. Especially dogs of a certain size.
  25. Well...I mean,I think Alexa is an attractive woman but some of her styling choices are just bizarre. Including walking around ass out in front of friends and family. Cole was a lucky man that day.
