  1. They are not doing a winners edit on anyone. That was clear when Nelson went out. There is no wonky editing. They are just playing it straight.
  2. That's what I'm saying. For many these days, it is a style choice for men (and women). But, it's also very natural for a lot of men to lose their hair. Some earlier than others. So, where does this objection end? I've never really liked women with short hair styles as a preference. But, I would not make a big deal about it going on this show because I've realized over time that it's how you wear it. Does it work for the individual? Far too many attractive women with short hair cuts or even bald in some cases for me to make a huge deal about it.
  3. They never show all the gifts. Why I don't know. So many women being triggered by bald heads is such an odd thing to me. I've never ever heard any woman have a problem with bald heads in my real life. Only on this show. I know we all have preferences. There is nothing wrong with that. In my opinion, a man with a bald head is as basic as it comes. A lot of the time, it's just a choice at this point. Not something they have to do. If you are that tightly wound about physical characteristics, this is not the show for you.
  4. Shouldn't you be team Shaq then? I feel terrible. I really do but Nicole's mom. If your parents are supposed to be a window into how you will age, yikes. I never watch the dress/tuxedo crap. Not here, love is blind or anything. Waste of my time. Do the damn dresses during the first episode. This should be all wedding. We should be honeymoon bound next week. I wish mafs was made for streaming. They would not get all of these episodes.
  5. Let the story die. It's over. No reason to bring this plot thread back at all. Greg has never been a major character and there is nothing to gain at this point. Tanya is gone. The story is dead.
  6. "I totally fell for the misdirect that Jennifer Coolidge would be back next season. I'll never believe anything Mike White says ever again." I don't like that people feel entitled to answers from actors and the creators. They are trying to tell the story. They do not want to ruin the story. They have to lie because people insist spoiling things for themselves all the time. I don't blame showrunners, actors, trailer editors or anyone for trying preserve their plot as much as they can. Tanya can kick rocks. You can't keep that character around over and over. Start completely fresh next time. Albie is such an idiot. At least got great sex for the better part of week. Not worth 50k bit his father was right. It's not his money so it's easy for him to throw it away.
  7. It's always going to be an either or situation. The sooner they both realize that, the happier we all will be.
  8. I literally stopped the discussion and pivoted the conversation already. It's all good. The redundant nature of this season in particular has reminded why i ducked on this franchise for years. They need shorter episodes or a shorter season for real.
  9. Yes. It's a gold chain. You see it a lot less during the day but of course. People complain about her every single week. Every week. Most of the characters can be annoying but most characters here are also more balanced out than Ava is. Ava will always be Ava. Shes more fun to me when thry dont lean on the cruelty as much.
  10. You can stop responding now. Moving on. Have a good one. I must say I agree with everyone who says they keep so much of this show on fast forward. I find Angela yelling, Andrei yelling, Sumit and Jenny having the same issue every week, the constant Bilal drama and Ed's main squeeze being so dour most of the time very tiring. But, it does help make the show fly by. I'm remaining surprised that really do think Usman loves Kim. He manipulates too much or hides facts but I think his feelings are real.
  11. I'm not trying to pressure anything. All I have been trying to say this entire time is, the response of wow its a PS5 big whoop or Usman is treating Jamal like a child with this gift is missing how many adults have and want the system. Also, the huge demand for them. They were a hot ticket item for a long time. Not just when it rolled out in 2020. Just as recently as last month, Sony reported that a chip shortage is causing the PS5 to be out of stock at many places. There has always been problems fully keeping them in stock even though it's much much better now. It was a cool gift given the circumstances and Jamal's reaction, imo, was appropriate given the circumstances. I have zero interest in a video game system at this point and I would be hyped.
  12. I said depending on the time of filming. For months, when it came out, they were tough the get. I know what I'm talking about. I work for FedEx. I remember the demand. It went for a while with people stealing and selling. Warehouses freaking out over all the orders. It's still in demand but it takes a while for inventory to catch up with demand in the early going for really popular stuff. And sure middle class can afford it in theory. Depending on what else you have going on, you may not be able to. It cost over 500 dollars for just the system. It is not cheap. This was a big get and most people, especially in the son's age range, would be thrilled period.
  13. As I said, they are actually not easy to get. Especially based on the time of filming. Also, expensive. It's not just a matter of want.
  14. I love RiccI but she doesn't have the look or stature of Morticia at all. Morticia should look taller than Gomez.
  15. I dont think some you understand that the new Playstation is a big deal. Its not a kid. Grown man and women own them. Some make money that by filming themselves playing certain games. He's not treating him like a kid. And it's really hard to acquire a PS5 at times because of the high demand with inventory not able to match. It was a smart gift. Forcing Jamal to have to schlep it home is not though.

    S06.E09: Red Flag

    I didn't want to say it but...yeah.
  17. Whatever. If they stopped making it rookies vs vets every year, this wouldn't be such a problem. I'm tired of the vets being whiny punks. Not all of them but too many of them. It's not like anyone is doing anything too exciting this season.
  18. I figured you would have a problem with it (no shade). But, the reality is that a lot of the mcu have dead parents of both genders. We literally start T Challa's journey with his father being murdered right in front of him. We knew him for five minutes and he has only existed to fuel his sons arcs. Ramonda got much more.
  19. There is often a difference between how different culture pronounce names and certain words. It's pretty common. I forgot to add that I didn't cry at all...until Suri did. I almost made it. Shocked I had any tears left after also watching Top Gun Maverick the same day.
  20. This is why i never wanted her as Black Panther. I'm happy with what they did here. But, Nakia would never want that mantle. Okoye wants to serve the king not be one and Suri is more about tech than being a leader. None of them made sense as the new Black Panther. I don't even think M Baku will be King or king for that long. We will get out T Challa replacement but it will be an unknown character so far. I don't think they will be female either. The women of Wakanda are so damn strong on their own metits. Just as a side note (this isn't an attack on you) but I don't know why it's such a thing to lead with that. It wasn't the best movie ever! It has its flaws! I mean, yes. I don't think any of those things need to be said. I would never assume a new movie is the best of anything or that anything was flawless. I feel that this was genuinely a better movie than the first but the heart and importance of the first one trumps this. I think it was always going to be that way.
  21. Killmonger was always going to be in this movie in some form. All the way back to initials drafts of the script. Killmonger made perfect sense. He was the dead relative she WANTED in that moment. T Challa, Ramona and The King would have pushed her to realization she had much earlier. Kilmonger/Namor/Suri all made rash decisions partially based on anger and vengeance. Not logic or reasoning. Killmonger pushed her to do what she already wanted. It made perfect sense thematically.
  22. Loved Dave's monolgue. Hit a lot of points people I know have been saying for a while. It will be unpopular obviously but I'm glad we still have Dave in comedy. I'm never going to agree with everything he or anyone else says but I don't watch comedy for that. I watch comedy to laugh and he often makes me laugh. The house of the dragon sketch wasn't touching the walking dead one but was still funny. I miss my Chappelle Show characters. That turkey waddle joke during weekend update made my jaw drop lower than anything Dave said.
  23. Its not. But, I believe that moment deserved some follow up.
  24. I don't like the way Zanab handled the rejection but the look the pastor gave Cole is one of the funniest things I've ever scene. I know reality tv can be edited and pushed to make narratives. It's almost never 100 percent real. But, that look was straight out of a sitcom and not real life. He had a look like "Chicks. What can you do man?"
