  1. Ahh so I'm back to being confused by Atlanta critiques. It was a good run. This show has always took shots at the industry. That's the backbone of the show. This show has always been all over the place. Our leads may have been more front and center at times but it's still the same thing. I don't think Glover wants anything but for the show to be accepted for what it is instead of what people want from it. I feel like there is too much talk about what this show is instead of just enjoying the show or just watching it in general. I've never seen a show where there can never be a discussion about it without talking about some bigger issue related to the show. There are tons of black people I know that only watch things with predominantly black casts. Black people who solely support black people at award shows. Black people that will watch anything Perry churns out. Quality does not matter at all. So, all of this was fair game to lampoon. And...I laughed my ass off. Especially the scene where the woman that became Lottie's mom in the scene talk to Lottie like she was an adult, walked out, didn't close the door all the way and just stay on that side of the set. We'll fix it in post! Just funny shit. This was also a little subversive in that Perry really is telling a lot of stories of what black people go through every damn day. His execution and almost wallowing in the shitty parts is where he fails the most.
  2. It's just a phrase. Putting gate on the end of incidents stopped being a serious thing decades ago.
  3. Via wiki Upon sentencing, Dahmer was transferred to the Columbia Correctional Institution.[276] For the first year of his incarceration, Dahmer was placed in solitary confinement due to concerns for his physical safety should he come into contact with fellow inmates. With Dahmer's consent, after one year in solitary confinement, he was transferred to a less secure unit, where he was assigned a two-hour daily work detail cleaning the toilet block.
  4. Watch that hug between Nate and Alexis when Nate and Stacia first arive. They clearly don't like each other. It's funny. I don't think Nate really likes Justin or Alexis but for completely different reasons.
  5. What is the point of this statement? You are saying when or not people should be using toys. I said that's up to actual people decide. I've had very minimal use with toys and it's not my thing. I just don't also judge others for using them and on what time frame. Nate and Stacia have fun with toys. I don't care. I don't think it's too much anything. To each their own. ETA no I don't think these conflicts are written by production. Specifically it's not like these issues aren't persistent the whole time. Just like regular people, there are ups and downs. I can believe production decides in editing which issues to prop up and also switch some scenes around. But, that's about it.
  6. This is how you see it. Everyone isn't you. People move at their own speed with lots of things. For some people, they literally don't have sex without some kind of toy. For some, it's not this big thing. Toys help. They aide into the enjoyment of it all. So, they just use them regularly. It's just something they do. Feel how you want to feel but there is no timeline on when or not to do anything. That's up to individuals.
  7. I see both sides of the issue. I think they are both bringing in previous relationship baggage that's are guiding their current reactions. I think Lindy has been left by people before for in her words being herself so this is constant fear now. Ive heard Miguel talking about him not speaking up in relationships and not being heard. So, in my opinion, he is overcorrecting. They definitely needed some couple therapy this week. I get the experts not being there every single week but one of them should be able to be called in a respond/help inbetween visits. They might of even been able to save their precious success rate with being a little more hands on. I think more needs to be said about how quickly and overly apologetic Krysten was to Mitch. I don't believe she had anything to apologize for and she gave Mitch an in to speak up earlier. He didn't have to be blindsided. But, it was weird watching the cam footage after the pool party. That backbone Krysten got in public disappeared in private.
  8. I wonder if, I can't remember if she addressed this early, that she has had other boyfriends deem her as too much and she still internalized it. She shouldn't have been made to feel that but I still don't like how she expects her mate to regulate her heightened emotions for her. Most people would crack under that pressure. There is a middle ground there. I don't if she'll find it with Miguel though. Their temperaments might not be a match together. He was talking how he over reacted earlier, in the bedroom, because he was tired. But, he is aggravated in the moment from what we saw on screen later on which were two different issues. He snapped on the first, in theory, because he was tired but also just didnt like her tone. But, its not like he let it go and other things built upon it. It doesn't matter if he was tired or not. He had issues he wanted to address. He should of done it better way. It came off as berating after a while.
  9. These things happened on two different days. He could be tired when he got there from the week but feel better after a little rest and fun. Like any other person.
  10. Disagree. It's not that she's being terrible or doing anything on purpose. But, she is doing things that her spouse doesn't like but she's generally in her own world so she doesn’t even notice it while it's happening. Don't get me wrong. Miguel was being an asshole with how he approached it. But, feeling some type of way about how your talked to or ignored is not crazy or wrong. But, he's literally complaining about tone while having a real shitty and rude tone himself. He said on the show he was already tired (and probably cranky) from work that week. People can tired for a bunch of different reasons.
  11. As with most things, it's not just about the photo anymore. I think he wants her to express herself but not be over th top. But, that's Lindy. He's to figure out if he can actually deal or not.
  12. There is no such thing. If it's something you enjoy sharing, it is what it is. Some women, as I've heard or been told, can't even reach orgasm without them. That may actually be a mental block but it's a real thing. Lindy and Miguel are not terrible. There are multiple issues at play imo. Your spouse want to feel heard. I don't think Miguel always feels that and it's manifesting itself in shitty ways. Lindy isn't awful but can be annoying for some at times. I can see her being very agitating after a while. But, Miguel needs to learn how to express himself without sounding like a parent. Lindy needs to just take it in, express herself but not freak out. Also, don't apologize if you don't really know what's going on. Also Miguel, time and place. At Lindy's prom where you wanted to give her a special night? My God man, it wasn't that serious.
  13. They were showing another side of Hannah's job which is managing actor complaints about scripts. But, she wanted to show her dad that we should be open to all their thoughts which obviously isn't true. If the episodes don't need the writers, they aren't there. I don't care about the show within the show. This could simply be Hulu trying find success in the same way Netflix did with Fuller House. There is no rule that says something like this couldn't exist on Hulu. Especially with so many shows being brought back all over the place. This would be like bringing Reba back which is literally what people are trying to do right now. I love how much heart this show has. After a more straight forward start there are exploring the leads and different relationships within the main cast through different scenarios. My favorite part of this episode was the make up chair. Knoxville was perfectly comfy with the gay hairdresser. They both gave good, snappy banter while not being offended while Bree actually just enjoyed it all instead of just being snarky at Knoxville.
  14. He literally said why. He has a image as a train wreck that he wants to keep in public. It's also his personal business. It's alcohol anonymous for a reason.
  15. She still looks like Molly Ringwald! But, I've come to realize I don't have trouble identifying faces. I know you said this was silly nit but come on. They were trying to set a mood. It also really really doesn't matter.
  16. There was also a neighbor who actually dealt with Dahmer. They just put the two people into one character. Which is a standard in biopics.
  17. Well that's definitely a you thing. He's not some random guy as is in a lot of big projects. It's not about celebrities validating the show. It's about showing different perspectives. But, you don't like them, carry on. I'm sure nothing would change that. There are some interesting exclusions. But, not everyone cares about reliving the past or jumping at the chance to be on tv again. Beth is a weird one though. You would expect her to be all over this. A villains episode would be bullshit without her though. Kam is no GOAT. That's nonsense. Great competitor buts that's ALMOST like calling Tori Deal a GOAT. Nah. Really good is GOAT status.
  18. It always cracks me up when peoole deem someone a nobody just because they don't know them. Jake Johnson is a very in demand actor who was one of the leads in the popular New Girl on Fox. He also starred in a bunch of hit movies like the fourth Jurassic Park movie, Tag, into the spider verse, let's be cop and a bunch of other projects. Not a nobody and him and working partner are genuine big fans and made a project about the show. They aren't just random people there like Kim Kardashian. I don't know why people care about super fans speaking anyway. They shouldn't be there in place of people from the cast but they add another important perspective. Entertainment doesn't transcend unless it really hits with the audience. Derrick is very much an underdog. Come on now. People thought they could call him out for years just based on his size. People also didn't take him seriously for years. He had multiple things against his success but became one of the most respected players out there. Wes is in on the joke and plays up his ego. Laurel takes this all super seriously and comes off as obnoxious but not in a fun way.
  19. Once she lied on her application, she did it to herself. There is no other way to look at it. You can keep defending her. I get it. But, Bihn would have never been confused if she didn't first, tell him that lie and then tell him not tell anyone as it was a big secret. She made it a thing every step of the way. Even when everyone else moved on.
  20. Yes, your opinion. I or you don't get to deem someone out of someone else league. Krysten decides that and she's never said so no leagues here. I think she is realizing more and more that what she wants is not what he's giving. Thank God for that. Pull the cord already.
  21. She lied on her application about her current education status. That's is what caused the confusion with Bihn. It's her fault. She didn't have to make it thing. She made it a big bad secret. She has nothing to sue or even be mad about at this point. She did it to herself. Every single person has said and acknowledged that she is a nurse. She wears scrubs even when home. We all get it. The show doesn't need to do anything to appease her. Technically they've already done it.
  22. She did lie. She has nothing to sue for.
  23. I hate the concept of leagues. She is not out of his league. They just want different things. The way Mitch goes about these differences is terrible though. But, Krysten would be fine with him as is with his looks and lower than hers salary. So, she's not out of his league. They define those terms. They are just a bad bad match.
  24. Yeah, I'm talking about the I'm doing it for women. I'm doing it for black women. I'm doing it for gay men. It's becoming a crutch leaned on in diary room conversations a lot. I'm sure it's partially pushed by producers. And there would be no need for all this propping up of firsts if it wasn't so hard for certain parties to break through. It just does not interest me personally nor is it is reason anyone should win. Taylor won when she needed to, aligned herself with the right people and had a good social game with the people willing to listen to her. So, I'm happy she won.
  25. People of all races have been pushing back on the Hollywood sanitizing of historical events and figures for years and years. It's nothing new. People are just louder these days. Some people have read up on the actual history and support it. I don't blame them. I don't care what race is on screen. If I don't support the message, then I won't support it period. I generally dont care. Ill see it eventually but i dont care about running out to the movies anymore.
