If you can't sit still while I tell you an important story from life, you are not the one for me. Period. And I'm not giving her a pass on anything. If she would of demonstrated some kindness and understanding after she got busted I would have rolled with it. She wasn't listening to that man at all. Point blank. She cared enough to at least stop at some point for SK. Give everyone that grace if you are capable as she clearly is. I don't even like Bartise. I just don't like Raven in these moments. Edit or no edit. I can't talk in terms of edits. I go by what I see until I know otherwise. Everything could be flipped in that regard in that case.

I feel like a lot of people are taking this too seriously. But, that's just me.

F that. I'm in. But I think Adonis should lose here. He's about to fight the manifestation of Mike Tyson in his prime. He should take that L. And this side of the franchise continues to give black people the shine in blockbuster non oppressive, non super hero ways. Bring it on. The Rocky franchise has shown now they can pivot focus and still be engaging. They are working on a movie where son of Drago is the focus too. Again, bring it on.

I disagree with the person saying they are incredibly attractive but this whole premise is pointless if it's just a bunch of people from standard reality casting 101. While having attractive people for sure, married at first is at least better with not everyone look like dolled up models. There is a series I watch on youtube called the button. They don't always use blindfolds and they let the people see each other before they made they made their final choice but I find the different types of people they have on the show interesting.

Feel bad? She seemed able to turn that off for SK. Also, if someone is pouring their heart outto you about something important in your life, maybe just listen. At the very least, listen to the story WHILE keeping active. I would relate or understand her if she truly sounded sorry after being caught or engaged with him at that point. She can miss me with her nonsense.

I think some people forget that finding ways to relate to people or inform someone is a continous thing in life. Everyone doesn't understand or relate the same way. Ashley wasn't blatantly disrespectful or distracting. Her way of teaching just happens to be distracting. I'm sure it wouldn't be THIS bad but having two classes going in one room is bound to distract. As Melissa begins to relate to her, they may be able to have common ground. Melissa may be able to learn from her as well. We never saw that she wasn't teaching the kids. She is just very loud. In regards to Janine and Barbara, just saying don't do this doesn't work for everyone. The why is important. There was nothing to suggest that THIS would be the consequence and things in the school system need to change and evolve just like anything else. Janine wasn't in the wrong for trying to make this change. No one could have seen THIS coming. Not even Barbara.

It was literally the last shot of the episode and they lingered on a Lottie for a while absorbing the moment. Very important thing to miss. It was delightful though. I look at Van and Earn as truly realistic. When they first were together, Earn was not ready for everything they have now. One could argue Van wasn't either but she HAD to step up because Earn wasn't and was very lost. Throughout the series, we saw Earn find himself and purpose while Van became the opposite. But, they are both much more mature than they once more. Sometimes the right person for you isn't the right one in that moment but later on they are. This is another bizarre thing where ppeople are find extra meaning in everything this show does. It can't even have a simple character focused episode without it being deemed as response to something else. By some people anyway. I understand why this happens but i dont think its always that deep. I think everyone involved wanted to wipe everything else the show in known for in order to focus on these three characters, their dynamic and their future. No distractions. Although, just because it is Atlanta, everything from bug sounds to aspec ratios triggered all sorts emotions just because.

Let me put it this way. Remove your average challenge competitor from the equation. This is Turbo. Is it really out of the realm of possibility that Turbo of all people would want to go directly into the zone and destroy people? In my opinion, nope, not even a little bit. Thus, I understand Nany wanting to clear up the rumor.

I fail to see how a house vote is more drams when most of the time, people vote in a way to not make waves. We get drama both ways with the initial nomination and then the unpredictability of the dagger. She's asking him, as a friend, if he wants to be thrown in. Giving him what he wants. It wasn't malicious. She was just asking if it was true but she never heard it from him. What she was looking for was a yes or a no. It wasn't that deep.

Halloween will never be allowed to nail the landing. The Akkad family has this as their cash cow and they never let the story end when it should. Halloween '78, H20, Zombie's first Halloween and 2018 all had great conclusions that got fucked up by follow ups. Constantly squandering good will. I don't care if the reboot. But, don't ruin your conclusions and THEN reboot it. H20 is the most agregious. I'm still insulted by the retcon they did for resurrection. They also basically made this Michael supernatural which is something they promised they wouldn't do. By the end of Halloween Kills, Myers is not human being.

There is nothing to suggest Earn isn't supporting Lottie or Van. The point is that Van isn't and that's not what she wants.

When I say her child it's because I'm talking about Van’s thought process. She wants to be able to provide for her child independent of Earn. As she always has before Earn cleaned himself up. She doesn't want to depend on him to take care of herself or their child. They aren't really together like that and if Earn loses himself again or leave them behind (which is a fear they explored earlier this season), she needs to be stable. Van's mindset has been scattered since she got fired. It happens to a lot of people. We've literally seen with Earn. But, it was him getting expelled from school. That broke him for multiple reasons. People bitch about the use of Van on the show. Or say she's aimless. She just hasn't found her purpose. As a individual. She doesn't seem to want to teach anymore but what are her goals beyond that? She doesn't know. I just hope the show ends with her finding her way.
-
I'm sure they didn't all know. Engineering a rookie steamroll when you know you won't have the numbers wouldn't have happened. They would have least tried to get a few vet teams on their side first. They are fucked now.

I've said this before but this is not a change. They did the same thing last season. Early on they have three people from the show come on. When there is less going on in the middle of the season, they add a guest. It's for outsider insight. Giving a voice from the fans. Reaching different demos. There a bunch a reasons. It's not for no reason. And it's my own personal pet peeve but you not knowing someone doesn't make them a nobody. She and her Co host have a popular podcast. Thus, she isn't a nobody. I don't really care where they come from. They write blogs, do recaps, just be a fan. I just hope they add to the discussion. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. It's not a big deal to me. I'm sure it's also a hassle getting three of them for filing weekly anyway.

He's not saying he will be living out on the street or whatever. If he gives up his place, move into her home and they split, he's gone. Literally homeless. He will be without a home. It's not about whether or not he will find another place. You also can't just snap your fingers and get a new place. It takes time. It's something he has to think about. This literally happened last year. Mark and his wife split right after she moved in and gave up her place. She had nowhere to go at the time and had to stay there for a while as a result. With her ex! It's a reasonable worry.
-
And that's not how this works. It is their house now. She knew that coming in. He has to have say and feel like it is THEIR place because it is. Uh...no. That expectation should not be put on him for a situation he did not create. He wants say in his home that he will be living in with his wife. Who acquired or paid for the house first doesn’t negate that. This is their home that they will be raising their children in. This also isn't me projecting. Stacia is saying it's their home to Nate but saying otherwise to different people. This is something she needs to accept if they are going to last. Because, no matter which guy it is, her making this her house/her rules will only work if she wants to be alone. There needs to be a shift in that dynamic otherwise. Obviously Nate should be contributing to the household but that goes along with it being their house that will be maintaining together.

Understood. -
People still want their own independence. Especially with Van who has been carrying the load for so long. Yes, it must feel good to not have to shoulder the burden of the weight but I don't think she wants to Depend on him to take care of her child. We've also had the episode where the worry became that Van would be one of the exes left in purgatory. Even though Earn assured her he would not do that, I'm sure it's still a fear. Thus, she needs to be able to take care of her child without his support.
-
Incorrect. Perry has a very devoted fanbase that will support basically anything he does from his plays to his movies. That's how he garnered his stardom. It was not by crossing over. And Van is not struggling to support Lottie. In that, Lottie is supported. But, Van has been struggling to fine her focus and be able to provide for Lottie on her side. She was the responsible one when the series started. Now, she is floundering like Earn was. She just hasn't found her way yet. People also often don't want to rely on others to support their child even if the other person is a parent.

Mitch has been clear since the very beginning that he doesn't earn much. Most of his time goes into the cause which doesn't actually garner much profit. And he said she makes double what he makes. So, we do know. If there were a in debt situation, the show would use it. At best Krysten's savings is probably light because of how much she blew on that wedding. Pia did nothing to their relationship. There relationship has been broken since the dog incident. She was trying to get to the root of the problem in order to fix it. You can't break what is already broken. They ask every season at the half point if they want to stay now. This isn't new. The experts need to know if the participants wants to stay in this order to give them the tools to move forward.

Ahh so I'm back to being confused by Atlanta critiques. It was a good run. This show has always took shots at the industry. That's the backbone of the show. This show has always been all over the place. Our leads may have been more front and center at times but it's still the same thing. I don't think Glover wants anything but for the show to be accepted for what it is instead of what people want from it. I feel like there is too much talk about what this show is instead of just enjoying the show or just watching it in general. I've never seen a show where there can never be a discussion about it without talking about some bigger issue related to the show. There are tons of black people I know that only watch things with predominantly black casts. Black people who solely support black people at award shows. Black people that will watch anything Perry churns out. Quality does not matter at all. So, all of this was fair game to lampoon. And...I laughed my ass off. Especially the scene where the woman that became Lottie's mom in the scene talk to Lottie like she was an adult, walked out, didn't close the door all the way and just stay on that side of the set. We'll fix it in post! Just funny shit. This was also a little subversive in that Perry really is telling a lot of stories of what black people go through every damn day. His execution and almost wallowing in the shitty parts is where he fails the most.

It's just a phrase. Putting gate on the end of incidents stopped being a serious thing decades ago.

Via wiki Upon sentencing, Dahmer was transferred to the Columbia Correctional Institution.[276] For the first year of his incarceration, Dahmer was placed in solitary confinement due to concerns for his physical safety should he come into contact with fellow inmates. With Dahmer's consent, after one year in solitary confinement, he was transferred to a less secure unit, where he was assigned a two-hour daily work detail cleaning the toilet block. -
Watch that hug between Nate and Alexis when Nate and Stacia first arive. They clearly don't like each other. It's funny. I don't think Nate really likes Justin or Alexis but for completely different reasons.

What is the point of this statement? You are saying when or not people should be using toys. I said that's up to actual people decide. I've had very minimal use with toys and it's not my thing. I just don't also judge others for using them and on what time frame. Nate and Stacia have fun with toys. I don't care. I don't think it's too much anything. To each their own. ETA no I don't think these conflicts are written by production. Specifically it's not like these issues aren't persistent the whole time. Just like regular people, there are ups and downs. I can believe production decides in editing which issues to prop up and also switch some scenes around. But, that's about it.
