You can stop responding now. Moving on. Have a good one. I must say I agree with everyone who says they keep so much of this show on fast forward. I find Angela yelling, Andrei yelling, Sumit and Jenny having the same issue every week, the constant Bilal drama and Ed's main squeeze being so dour most of the time very tiring. But, it does help make the show fly by. I'm remaining surprised that really do think Usman loves Kim. He manipulates too much or hides facts but I think his feelings are real.
-
I'm not trying to pressure anything. All I have been trying to say this entire time is, the response of wow its a PS5 big whoop or Usman is treating Jamal like a child with this gift is missing how many adults have and want the system. Also, the huge demand for them. They were a hot ticket item for a long time. Not just when it rolled out in 2020. Just as recently as last month, Sony reported that a chip shortage is causing the PS5 to be out of stock at many places. There has always been problems fully keeping them in stock even though it's much much better now. It was a cool gift given the circumstances and Jamal's reaction, imo, was appropriate given the circumstances. I have zero interest in a video game system at this point and I would be hyped.
-
I said depending on the time of filming. For months, when it came out, they were tough the get. I know what I'm talking about. I work for FedEx. I remember the demand. It went for a while with people stealing and selling. Warehouses freaking out over all the orders. It's still in demand but it takes a while for inventory to catch up with demand in the early going for really popular stuff. And sure middle class can afford it in theory. Depending on what else you have going on, you may not be able to. It cost over 500 dollars for just the system. It is not cheap. This was a big get and most people, especially in the son's age range, would be thrilled period.
-
As I said, they are actually not easy to get. Especially based on the time of filming. Also, expensive. It's not just a matter of want.
-
I love RiccI but she doesn't have the look or stature of Morticia at all. Morticia should look taller than Gomez.
-
I dont think some you understand that the new Playstation is a big deal. Its not a kid. Grown man and women own them. Some make money that by filming themselves playing certain games. He's not treating him like a kid. And it's really hard to acquire a PS5 at times because of the high demand with inventory not able to match. It was a smart gift. Forcing Jamal to have to schlep it home is not though.
-
I didn't want to say it but...yeah.
-
Whatever. If they stopped making it rookies vs vets every year, this wouldn't be such a problem. I'm tired of the vets being whiny punks. Not all of them but too many of them. It's not like anyone is doing anything too exciting this season.
-
I figured you would have a problem with it (no shade). But, the reality is that a lot of the mcu have dead parents of both genders. We literally start T Challa's journey with his father being murdered right in front of him. We knew him for five minutes and he has only existed to fuel his sons arcs. Ramonda got much more.
-
There is often a difference between how different culture pronounce names and certain words. It's pretty common. I forgot to add that I didn't cry at all...until Suri did. I almost made it. Shocked I had any tears left after also watching Top Gun Maverick the same day.
-
This is why i never wanted her as Black Panther. I'm happy with what they did here. But, Nakia would never want that mantle. Okoye wants to serve the king not be one and Suri is more about tech than being a leader. None of them made sense as the new Black Panther. I don't even think M Baku will be King or king for that long. We will get out T Challa replacement but it will be an unknown character so far. I don't think they will be female either. The women of Wakanda are so damn strong on their own metits. Just as a side note (this isn't an attack on you) but I don't know why it's such a thing to lead with that. It wasn't the best movie ever! It has its flaws! I mean, yes. I don't think any of those things need to be said. I would never assume a new movie is the best of anything or that anything was flawless. I feel that this was genuinely a better movie than the first but the heart and importance of the first one trumps this. I think it was always going to be that way.
-
Killmonger was always going to be in this movie in some form. All the way back to initials drafts of the script. Killmonger made perfect sense. He was the dead relative she WANTED in that moment. T Challa, Ramona and The King would have pushed her to realization she had much earlier. Kilmonger/Namor/Suri all made rash decisions partially based on anger and vengeance. Not logic or reasoning. Killmonger pushed her to do what she already wanted. It made perfect sense thematically.

S48.E06: Dave Chappelle / Black Star
Racj82 replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in Saturday Night Live
Loved Dave's monolgue. Hit a lot of points people I know have been saying for a while. It will be unpopular obviously but I'm glad we still have Dave in comedy. I'm never going to agree with everything he or anyone else says but I don't watch comedy for that. I watch comedy to laugh and he often makes me laugh. The house of the dragon sketch wasn't touching the walking dead one but was still funny. I miss my Chappelle Show characters. That turkey waddle joke during weekend update made my jaw drop lower than anything Dave said. -
Its not. But, I believe that moment deserved some follow up.
-
I don't like the way Zanab handled the rejection but the look the pastor gave Cole is one of the funniest things I've ever scene. I know reality tv can be edited and pushed to make narratives. It's almost never 100 percent real. But, that look was straight out of a sitcom and not real life. He had a look like "Chicks. What can you do man?"
-
They tried to make her finally admit to her part in it all and she barely did so they didn't push. It's bullshit but they will never badger the women the way they do the men. It should have been asked why Nate isn't close with the guys. Justin said it. Not one person disputed it. Not even Nate.
-
I mean...most of them don't. At the very least, the physical package that nice guy comes in is more important than women tend to say.
-
All Justin has is his height and the stereotype that he can take advantage of. So, he basically made that his identity. In reality, that's all a woman could want from is height and a possibility of a big D because he has nothing else to offer. Shitty personality, soft as fuck, matchbox apartment, not conventionally good looking. I'm also starting to notice a trend of women embarrassing men on these shows for not being able to go long the first time. I need these women to understand that the excitement of that first time with a certain woman they are truly into may cause the uncontrolled finish. It's not indicative of their sexual prowess. Also, imagine if the guy in this scenario went on tv and said something like well it was rough the first time. She farted, she queefed or something completely natural but embarrassing to admit. Those men would be labeled the biggest piece of shit in the world.
-
He shouldn't have to deny anything. He never hit on Justin. The lying was the issue. No need to acknowledge his ridiculous accusation.
-
There just isn't that much to touch on. It should be first hour just the couples are interviewed individually and the second is group stuff. A four hour reunion is not needed here. I think Justin knows he came off like a loser on the season so he is trying hard to compensate. Making him look worse. Kevin needed to get a handle on the situation much quicker. Also, at some point, Nate was just antagonizing Justin. It really shouldn't bother him that much that Justin blocked him and everyone else. I don't believe Nate was ever hitting on Justin but Nate comes off kind of iffy and soft himself being so pressed about this.
-
People keep disputing this on here but i really don't think you can rig shows like you are claiming when money is at stake. It's illegal. Even if it isn't, that is a lot of accusations for something so simple. Tommy was weak. It was two rookie teams. No one really cares which one of them went home enough to rig it. It made sense for most teams to think that the man holding was smarter. In theory, it would be easier for the woman to jump on and the guy not lose control. It also makes sense for the first team to break that to be Jordan and Aneesa because she's probably heavier. Or harder to catch anyway.

S07.E10: Just Give Me a Reason
Racj82 replied to greekmom's topic in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After
Mid life -
I don't really need things like this spelled out for me. And it wasn't a magic potion. Drugs like that gave existed for years. My one and only thought during that scene was oh, he has some type of adrenaline and...that was it. I don't everything he uses to have an origin or explanation.
-
He basically shot up adrenaline. It didn't fix anything. Just helped him shoot through the pain. Batman is a human being. It stands to reason that he would have something that would help him push through pain in a battle.
-
Tommy is the very obvious gay guy. It's not that hard to remember him. There are no other male cast members this season like him.
