  1. Well that's definitely a you thing. He's not some random guy as is in a lot of big projects. It's not about celebrities validating the show. It's about showing different perspectives. But, you don't like them, carry on. I'm sure nothing would change that. There are some interesting exclusions. But, not everyone cares about reliving the past or jumping at the chance to be on tv again. Beth is a weird one though. You would expect her to be all over this. A villains episode would be bullshit without her though. Kam is no GOAT. That's nonsense. Great competitor buts that's ALMOST like calling Tori Deal a GOAT. Nah. Really good is GOAT status.
  2. It always cracks me up when peoole deem someone a nobody just because they don't know them. Jake Johnson is a very in demand actor who was one of the leads in the popular New Girl on Fox. He also starred in a bunch of hit movies like the fourth Jurassic Park movie, Tag, into the spider verse, let's be cop and a bunch of other projects. Not a nobody and him and working partner are genuine big fans and made a project about the show. They aren't just random people there like Kim Kardashian. I don't know why people care about super fans speaking anyway. They shouldn't be there in place of people from the cast but they add another important perspective. Entertainment doesn't transcend unless it really hits with the audience. Derrick is very much an underdog. Come on now. People thought they could call him out for years just based on his size. People also didn't take him seriously for years. He had multiple things against his success but became one of the most respected players out there. Wes is in on the joke and plays up his ego. Laurel takes this all super seriously and comes off as obnoxious but not in a fun way.
  3. Once she lied on her application, she did it to herself. There is no other way to look at it. You can keep defending her. I get it. But, Bihn would have never been confused if she didn't first, tell him that lie and then tell him not tell anyone as it was a big secret. She made it a thing every step of the way. Even when everyone else moved on.
  4. Yes, your opinion. I or you don't get to deem someone out of someone else league. Krysten decides that and she's never said so no leagues here. I think she is realizing more and more that what she wants is not what he's giving. Thank God for that. Pull the cord already.
  5. She lied on her application about her current education status. That's is what caused the confusion with Bihn. It's her fault. She didn't have to make it thing. She made it a big bad secret. She has nothing to sue or even be mad about at this point. She did it to herself. Every single person has said and acknowledged that she is a nurse. She wears scrubs even when home. We all get it. The show doesn't need to do anything to appease her. Technically they've already done it.
  6. I hate the concept of leagues. She is not out of his league. They just want different things. The way Mitch goes about these differences is terrible though. But, Krysten would be fine with him as is with his looks and lower than hers salary. So, she's not out of his league. They define those terms. They are just a bad bad match.
  7. Yeah, I'm talking about the I'm doing it for women. I'm doing it for black women. I'm doing it for gay men. It's becoming a crutch leaned on in diary room conversations a lot. I'm sure it's partially pushed by producers. And there would be no need for all this propping up of firsts if it wasn't so hard for certain parties to break through. It just does not interest me personally nor is it is reason anyone should win. Taylor won when she needed to, aligned herself with the right people and had a good social game with the people willing to listen to her. So, I'm happy she won.
  8. People of all races have been pushing back on the Hollywood sanitizing of historical events and figures for years and years. It's nothing new. People are just louder these days. Some people have read up on the actual history and support it. I don't blame them. I don't care what race is on screen. If I don't support the message, then I won't support it period. I generally dont care. Ill see it eventually but i dont care about running out to the movies anymore.
  9. It may not be a great thing to say but I would like to just see people come in next reason wuth a goal to win and that's it. Not the first of certain race, gender or sexuality. Just kick ass. I don't need the mission statements. It's great. I'm happy for Taylor. But this show gets so lost in racial and gender lines. It's fucking tiring. I know the houseguests are the most responsible for the divides and the real world is like this but enough is enough. I will say that I think all in the final 3 would have earned their wins whether you like them or not. As a side note, I bet a lot of the people who don't think Kyle deserved to be labeled as a racist voted hard for him. May not be a popular opinion but I don't think worrying about a cookout 2.0 in itself was bad or makes one a racist. How he got there and how hard he pushed it was the problem. I don't think he was evil though.
  10. And it's like reading an Aliens view of this series to me because the opinions are so foreign. But, opinions, we all have them. Damn was this season amazing. My favorite shows will always be more about me enjoying spending time in the world and loving the characters that live in said world. i especially appreciated not dragging out certain plots forever. They know which ones to hold on and which to spend less time on. I laugh. I tear up. All this conversation about netflix having nothing to offer and strangers things/cobra kai are my favorite things I watched this year full stop.
  11. That's doesn't even matter. Neither one of them looked into how to properly have two dogs meet. They did it in an enclosed placed and were unprepared. The conditions were not right for a successful meeting. Regardless of Maya's history. The best and most behaved dog would probably lash out in an uncomfortable situation like that. But, Alexis never makes it a fault in her part. It's all on Justin and his dog. But, in reality, they are both at fault.
  12. Yep. She goes out with friends all the time because he’s not there. If she were into him, she’d include him, want him to get to know her friends, figure out how they can socialize together. She’s not, so she doesn’t. Justin is finally figuring it out. To be fair to Alexis, she did try to include him. It's not his scene. She's not excluding him. But, she wants a plus one in her life as it was. Not melding the two. That's the problem. This is also not a regular arrangement. In theory, they have 8 weeks to figure out if they want to do this for forever. If she's needs to run out every week, even in this time frame, that's a problem.
  13. I was thinking like this. But, both make the point.
  14. People analyze product placement too much imo. People use products. People watch actual tv shows. There is no need to keep coming up with fake stuff these days. It's not all product placement. It only sticks to me when the pimping of the product hits like a sledgehammer with the framing and dialogue.
  15. Because it was built in storyline to work with. There weren't THAT many stories to tell. Fun little catch up. All decisions being made seem to be for the best. Bring on season 3.
  16. Which is why I said back then that her "I'm the captain now!" Was mostly bluster to me.
  17. My thoughts on the friends to lovers situation is that if not making it as a couple could break your bond or if one does something bad enough to destroy it, the bond was never that strong to begin with. Doing as much as those two do together but not being a couple gives me a headache.
  18. There is nothing to say we are fully done with the father. Of course, this is getting another season. Why does anyone think it would end with Kreese breaking out of prison? The showrunners said after season 4 they have ideas for two more seasons. Also, the tournament will no doubt be challenged again with the cheating being unearthed. I guess Kreese gets a figured head to run his dojo while he lurks in the shadows. I assume, no matter where they are, Robbie and Sam win next time around. Miguel already got his. It's time for the other two leads to win.
  19. There is nothing missing between Krysten and Mitch. Literally everytime she says they have a perfect marriage she follows it up by complaining about him or his attitude. They were never a happy couple. I think Krysten has been so concerned with everyone being team Mitch that she overly sugar-coated their marriage before complaining. But, she has had these same complaints the whole time. On screen. She's just finally fed up.
  20. You should always feel free to express yourself hear. He'll, you keep the threads going a lot of the time. I would just encourage you to talk about your experiences but not push them on to others like Miguel. It might actually be that Miguel felt ganged up on for one thing but it was really another. Kids and people in general are also assholes so they can pick on you for anything. There is also the issue for some that you get picked on for not being ENOUGH. You are not black enough, not man enough, not Puerto Rican enough and that sucks just as much. But his journey is his journey and I thinks that is what others are saying. Not yours, mine or ours.
  21. Still no Bihn or Morgan on the afterparty. Come on now!
  22. Eh. Why not explore the chemistry they developed? It wouldn't hurt. People saw it. They felt it. That's why people would be interested in it.
  23. And there is no way Julie wasnt a part of his life if she was being cared for by Miyagi. Miyagi and Daniel were in each other's lives until he passed. He would know her. It was way less likely to see his part 3 not love interest than Swank. Although props to them for working in their combined trauma at the hands of Silver.
  24. Man, if this series as far as to bring Robin Lively in this they might as well bring on the Swank. I was against this because I didn't want or need EVERY character to be brought back but screw it. She would also be able to identify and work with Sam and Tori's anger issues.
