  1. It may be the same but that's what editing is for and why we don't usually spend THIS much time in the pods. I think we're interesting chunks here. Like the black lives matter, sexuality and the issues with whether or not you can accept someone knowing your conflict and resolution styles conflict. It was just surrounded by a lot of stuff I wasn't interested in.
  2. No, people just want different things. I personally don't care whether anyone ever stays together on these shows. I want to be entertained. That comes in different ways. It doesn't have to be all drama. At best, I would like balance. A bit of genuine connection and drama. But, if it's one or the other situation, I don't these bland/uninteresting people with their bland/uninteresting discussions. Also, i always point out that most people don't want this. They say they do. I just want to see people with common sense. Well adjusted people. Nothing but love stories. The show can win if they actual bring on people with actual personalities, interesting stories, people that all mostly look the same, different backgrounds. There is nothing here for me to grab onto.
  3. I look at the experts as people there to keep the show going. Keep these people together during filming. They aren't there for the contestants. They will almost never tell anyone to call it quits.
  4. She never let anything go. At any point. She just kept building up reasons to not like him. This was just another one. She was mad at him the whole time for existing and having the nerve to live in his parents basement. Everything else was an add on. And I don't side with David. This whole thing is just nonsense on her end. She wasn't trying. Doesn't actual care. Never did. David is just in the wrong for not waiting. He was in some way involved with someone still actively in a relationship even if that was BS. There was actual hope there. I'm also down for the takedown of Madison and David for being impulsive and dumb. But, the experts can miss me with making Michele "still trying" a part of the issue. She was not. They all know that. They were filming them the whole time. Of course they new. That isn't up for debate.
  5. They had to blur out her non existent cleavage multiple times during the honeymoon episodes. So, everyone in the cast would have gotten a glimpse at some point. I never thought it was more than that was confused why it was a topic.
  6. My point is that she said it. So it is out there. None of this actually upsets her except for the man she found to be bum pulling someone else and people not believing her. She doesn't care about David or anything he has done. Its all about her.
  7. Michelle literally had an issue with him talking with exes. That was outside of the texts. And yes would have used it as her out. She would also still be playing the ultimate victim as well.
  8. One of the main points of reality TV is that we are a fly on the wall. Everyone. They are not supposed to interfere in their lives. They are documenting it as it unfolds. Full on stopping a storyline because someone will be heartbroken is just not their job. It was Madison's job to tell Allen. No one else's. It would be nice if those who know tell him. It's also not their place.
  9. Yes. I just don't believe everything went down the way they are saying and it was just emotional. People reach for its fake so much on reality. Some people are just this dumb. The producers stumbled onto a gold mine and are milking it. They didn't create it.
  10. We do not need individual episode threads for this extremely boring season. As a side note, Joey's voice (Tarzan) drives me up a wall. I know her can't help but it's just super annoying to me.
  11. Well....I believe the Madison/David confessing their feelings bit was bad acting. They want everyone to believe they are just getting their feelings out about each other but are terrible actors so no one believes it. They've already had this talk. can't rate the rest as bad acting. It revolves around Allen who is not acting at all. That man is hurt.
  12. There are a lot of things at play here imo. This show pushes you to keep trying even when you know there isn't a chance. Inevitably, you are going to create situations like this. People mentally out but sticking around out of pressure (or to be on tv, etc.) I still maintain there is no cheating on David's side. There was no relationship there. Michelle can pretend she was trying all she wants. But, damn near this whole cast is guilty of not calling it a day weeks ago. It would hurt the show but save people like Allen from this. I even get why David kept lying. He can't just outright say it because it involves two other people. But, they all went about this all wrong. Such a mess all around.
  13. No it's not producer driven. Michelle found a way to fix the villain edit she knew she was getting. She running with it for everything its worth.
  14. No i live in the world. Also, probably one of the only things MAFS has over dating shows of this type. They often feel more like real people. Not like someone who got printed out of reality show factory. That's part of the reason why I don't run people down for this stuff. I'm not perfect anyway. There is that. I could never be on a show like this. Your looks will be torn to shreds. I know they signed up for it but they are strong people to put themselves out there for the ridicule. The money ain't worth it to me. Madison looks like a standard reality show cutout. Allen looks like a regular guy I would see anywhere. Nothing wrong with him or that. But, they just don't match up well because of that. They can miss me with these makeover segments. These women are not into these guys. A suit or a nice pair of jeans is not changing that. Just straight up wasting time.
  15. As I get along in life, I see more and more people with bad teeth. I mean genuinely bad, crooked, missing teeth in the back teeth. Allen's teeth aren't bad. Just not perfect. This is another thing that the world has convinced people of. That super straight, bright teeth are the norm. They absolutely aren't. There are a bunch of reasons for that. But, Allen's teeth are fine. It barely registers next to what I see in the regular world on a daily basis.
  16. David isn't cheating. They were pretending this was a marriage for weeks. There is no relationship. Its just on paper. But, he sucks for not speaking up and ending things earlier when she wouldn't. Also, Allen doesn't deserve this. This show conditions people to pretend and lie under the pretense of their being a "chance". They need to let people part ways and stop trying to push interest that isn't there. To be fair that stuff is dumb. Or t9 be fair at the very least, someone finding it dumb doesn't mean they aren't open minded. Most people won't believe in it.
  17. She died and I was not surprised. She is high profile among this cast. They do that to make the death more shocking. There could be more going on here but even it isn't, that's the goal. They also got someone to play the character in a way that you would feel the loss even with minutes of screen time. Mission accomplished
  18. No. They would just use prosthetics for the peeing scene. And ER staff get all sorts of bodily fluids on them some point.
  19. You said five couples and no match but then talked about the one match they do have. Thomas and Camille are fine. Also, this is a tv show. We are taking a look into the lives of a couple. That also includes their sex life. Nothing about this is normal. Also, obviously people are more comfortable sharing their lives in general anyway. Their talk didn't even make me blink. I get more annoyed with couples on here being so secretive and coy on the show. Ultimate privacy and having your life documented for a tv show do not mix.
  20. 1. I said like money. Transactional as in money is One way to look at it. 2. Regardless of how you would like describe it, sex being transactional is not a way anyone wants their sex life as no matter how you put it. He was at a loss for the proper word and that's one of the worst he could of chosen. From everything else he said involving his first impressions, what he was saying was never going to go over well. Whether he thought she was shutting, a party girl, etc. It all could of been taken and handled better but of course it wasn't. This is Madison we are talking about. The worst part about this David/Michelle thing is that he put her in the power position. He rightfully had the high ground this whole time. Now we have to live with her playing the victim for the rest of the season.
  21. Yeah, i said he was struggling to find the right word. That's what he chose. Some people will take it how she took it. He never really found the right word and kept floundering to explain himself. I get it. He saw her as a party girl. But, he already threw a word out there in error. You can't help or judge how it will make someone feel. It is what it is. I don't think she should of gotten so upset about first impressions. But, I feel like at this point, he is just having to avoid landmines left and right. He would of eventually said something to upset her.
  22. I mean, he used the word transactional. He was at a lost for the proper word but that word makes it sounds like he thought she only had sex if she got something in return....like money.
  23. My comment simply meant that there would be more talk about not knowing Sunny or not liking this episode because it's not Abbott. All valid thoughts. That was just my assumption when I saw what the episode was going to be about. I didn't know about the crossover beforehand. So, I was caught off-guard. Pleasantly though. Sunny has been going on for nearly 20 years but they took Jerry Seinfelds advice. Jerry told Rob (Mac) to never end the show if don't want to. Do it as long as you want. So, it's never canceled. They just do another season when they have time and want to. Its definitely a contrast in styles. Like I said, I had fun with it. I always appreciate trying to do different things. It doesn't always land and I won't give them a pass. But, this was a pass for me.
  24. I figured people not watching Sunny before would hijack the discourse. I watch and love both shows so this was a lot of fun. The thing is, Sunny doesn't have a ton of limits. Abbott does. Its on network tv. So, the Sunny characters were never going to be able to fully be themselves. These crossovers always works better when it's the same network at play. But, I enjoyed myself anyway. Then again, I can't relate to the this show isn't as funny anymore discourse either.
  25. What guys? Plenty of men don't and it ends up being their downfall. I dont understand where Dislike for Emem would be coming from? Is there anything besides her eyelashes. Carla loves showing cleavage when she is all chest. There is no cleavage.
