  1. That's just being a human being. No one is just one thing. Also, cheating on your spouse doesn't make you monster. It means you are a terrible spouse/partner, it's you are weak but it can also mean you were reaching out for connection in the wrong place etc. The show isn't haven't it both ways. Its just complicated like most things. That doesn't actually defeat to purpose. The person is clearly being petty. Both parties know it. But, it's what they want.
  2. I guess you never paid attention to her crooked yellow bottom row of teeth that were visible in every talking head. She never said the movies she wanted them to watch were romantic or lead to romance. She said that those movies show different types of bonds and love. I think she was trying not to force romance on them but show that can get closer in different ways. Maybe romance will grow from there. Of course, it won't mostly because of Gina but whatever. There was never anything the experts could say to help them after the honeymoon.
  3. Of course, we are. That's what reunions are for.
  4. I don't think he does like her much anymore.
  5. I dont think Shaq is asking Kirsten to follow him around all day at work. She's never been to any of his workshops or anything like that. Even on the honeymoon, she went with him but never came to any of his functions. I think it's just something he woud to share with her at some point. He also thinks it will give her better understanding of himself and his work. It's not crazy to go with him once at the very least. I think that Shaq feels that a lot of the stuff Kirsten says is very hollow. So, he wants to see actual action. Not just words.
  6. No, they actually couldn't find enough people so they opened up casting to other cities relatively close.
  7. People needing space is the normal part. Once you mix in work and all that, it can end up being days. It's not crazy. I wouldn't do it in this format because they have limited time. It's not like there is a set time frame for space to figure things out. I wouldn't of done it. I think he should've dealt with things sooner. I also don't think it even touches irrational things people have done on this show.
  8. Meh. I don't think she gave a shit that he left either and that is part of the problem. I'm not excusing anything but nothing he did was out of the realm of a normal reaction. Everything Jackie did or said at a certain point is just baffling. People have flaws so I don't pick that much. But, Jackie just went to another level by the end there. There is flat out wrong in my eyes and wrong but understandable. I even get that his project line was more about seeing the future they could have if they just work on the issues and walls. But, it's still too wild to defend. People seem to keep forgetting that they both straight up said that a woman walking around in Calvin Klein style men's underwear is sexy to them. It wasn't out of the blue or random. I know we burn through a lot in these episodes but it wasn't random. He literally said he thinks Seattle is over priced and overrated. He is not high on living in Seattle. He's also much happier in his regular place because of the life he set up there.
  9. I don't care who bought it if it wasn't her. She was being petty on top of petty so I will continue to clown her for that too. Every single move she made in the break up was a bad look. Every move. It's quite astonishing.
  10. Yeah, I can already see the defense of her online. She shouldn't have to be with someone just because he's a good guy etc. But, that's not the point. How she basically went about everything is trash. Marshall's only real fault was the project line. But, never even took that the way everyone else did. He saw her as someone who was guarded and having a hard time. He also saw the connection there as well. So, he saw working on them and getting down her defenses as the project. Work on gaining her trust and letting him in. Either way, he deserved better than what he got. Ditching the dress fitting to meet up with another dude and....then dumping him? Come on now.
  11. Literally every person has problems, insecurities and things they need to work on. What kind of issues is the point. Like, even with Nicole and how needy she is, she is still open. Nicole is not running or putting walls up. She shouldn't be disqualified from this because of her specific problems. The people not willing to honestly work on things or not bend at all are the problem. Also, the rigid people who need things a specific way or they are out. I get that the show gets good ratings but there are only so many ways to either address the same problems or follow a couple that has none.
  12. My kind of people. No one is wrong in terms of their opinion. This is also not groundbreaking tv but I found it entertaining. I was invested enough that I found myself hoping that certain obvious things wouldn't happen. I felt that way because I wanted so and so to just be good or that person not to die. I loved Rose and our Night Agent together. I was ready for him to be a bland white block of wood but I liked both of them. I also like that he wasn't indestructible. He got hurt a lot and basically stayed that way.
  13. There are obviously black people that are Jewish but I think you know what they meant when they were pointing out those two things. He was probably looking for light skinned/mixed race looking woman.
  14. It's funny to me how many had a hard time catching the set up did. I don't mean that as judgment. It's just something was super telegraphed. Including Dame clearly looking and waiting for the guy to enter and attack. I didn't even to pay attention to the face in the news story which was supposed to be the give away. It was not so subtlety laid out during the scene of the attack
  15. It doesn't matter if it had a name. People come up with their own slang for stuff all the time. It was the sexual assault threat that got to him. There are some fates worse than death.
  16. I'm loving this season. Every couple I find interesting or enjoyable. There isn't a ton of fat. Most scenes have a point. I liked seeing the three black men having sincere discussions with each other. I love breaking stereotypes. Irina goes right into talking about who she wants during the break up. Amazing. Realistically, your feelings would be way more complicated if you were truly into more than one person. I'm not justifying any shitty treatment here. But, I don't expect any of them to be able to magically turn off their feelings. Respect and boundaries should also come into play. We have so many people that would be happier with someone else. It's wild.
  17. Kwame, don't pull an SK my man.
  18. Neither Jazmin or Paramore are new. That's the funny thing. But, it has Nothing to do with age. You need to be super mainstream or relevant for most people to know who you are as a artist these days. Past that, its just about who you gravitate towards. The man got butthurt for a minute. Its not that big of a deal. He was just caught off guard. I'm sure he also thought she was super invested in the relationship when in reality, neither one of them were.
  19. Billy Jayne was married to April? I didn't even know. 80s and 90s heads will know him as the annoying little brother in Just One of the Guys where his older sister pretends to be a guy in high school for a story. He was also the super cool best friend of Parker Lewis on Parker Lewis Can't Lose. One of two tv shows trying use the style presented on Ferris Bueller Days Off. The was ironically a direct TV version of the movie that no one wanted. Parker made it three years. The choices turned out the way I assumed. I call bullcrap on Stephany and April wanting anything romantically to do with their matches though.
  20. This is literally the first time I've heard anyone crap on Jennifer in the movie, Penny as a character or their chemistry let alone with so many people. This is bizarro world. Not saying any opinion is wrong. But, most people would agree that was the most chemistry Tom showed with a woman in a very long time. She also had such a fun and light presence. It was just sweet to me. I don't give a damn how simplistic Maverick was deemed. I always love movies I actually give a shit about being represented at the Oscars. I didn't even see it in the theater. But, I laughed, cried, smiled and was thrilled. It's why I love movies. There should always be space for that among the somber weepfests or overwrought character studies. You can have all of that. I feel like everything everywhere was vastly entertaining and thrilling while also being well acted, directed and written. But, I'm glad Maverick is up there.
  21. He lost his wife and two of his closest friends ever in pretty quick succession. It just hit me how close he was to those two women on top of his lovely wife. That would wreck anyone.
  22. Disagreed on both fronts there. I think time has shown how poorly that pairing was in the first Top Gun.
  23. Clearly cutting people off is not gendered. That shouldn't be the focus. Padding the show with nonsense is the problem. Because that's what causes the scrambling for ways to cut time in other ways.
