  1. Wholeheartedly disagree on your first point. Mostly because he is a gigantic baby when he isn't getting way. Even for a second. I wouldn't care half as much if he stopped complaining do much. Wholeheartedly disagree with this too. Laurel started acting like she was over it far before it was a wrap. I don't want to hear someone constantly go on about how awesome they are tap out. F out of here with that. She also never belongs on the challenge mt. Rushmore. Nah. I think they wanted two women and two men up there but no. Her bark has been more than her bite for years.
  2. Nick isn't really because that's just what most of these people want or also want. Hannah is living on social media now and trying to get all the attention she can. She's no better than him because she didn't write down she wants fame. Also, if Nick was truly serious about that goal, he barely did anything to achieve it. He was pretty low key. Especially outside of the pods. I think Hannah and Nick both wanted to make it out of the pods but had few options. So, they just went with each and hoped for the best. They never made sense together.
  3. To go along with the difficulty this show will continue to have finding authentic people who care more about fame, we also have people coming into reunions well aware of their current image and come in going on damage control. They fight to have their narrative be what is heard. There isn't interest in keeping it real. They get asked whatever questions are given, they keep what they don't want to be heard to themselves. Too many people are worried winning.
  4. Yes and most people say she looks good. The dress just did not look good on her.
  5. The term grenade blew up when The Jersey Shore on MTV was a phenomenon. It became a term for the girl you may often see in a group of women that's the "big one" or less attractive. That's the women your friend hooks up with or spends time with so they don't block your efforts with the woman you are going for. A lot of times the grenade thing is weight based. The grenade is the obese one. So, if Nick did indeed say these things, he was rudely talking about Hannah's weight. I don't understand, whether true or not, why these people think they can keep their lives private when coming on here. If you have things going on like kids you kind of claim, it's going to come out on social media as soon as the show starts airing. To go along with that, stop gabbing to would be spouses in a rude or cruel light. People love gossip but men in particular will go to their significant other in a heartbeat about some gossip. Most of these people are not real friends. Shut the hell up. Keep it to yourself.
  6. Why should someone go up for successfully getting someone out of the comp fairly? Especially since Leah is the one who put her up and has no reason to want to avenge Rubina. Why would they hook them up with great quality pizza? It's a week of torture. Also, it's pizza. Not slop. Everyone gets pizza for a week and no slop. They are all winning in that regard. Leah is safe from eviction. She was highly likely to go home if she didn't win. That's all that really matters.
  7. They were with an ill relative. I believe it was his grandmother. But, it was much more important than this.
  8. I felt offended with the reveal and let's look back at all the past moments because it was so telegraphed. Joe is never there when any of the team is and Butcher is the only one who actually responds to him. We also already knew he was hallucinating. I did smile when A Train had his hero moment. Its really wild that in a show about a world of super powered beings, there is very little actual saving or heroics happening. They are just actors/celebrities for the most part. The Boys, themselves, are barely saving actual people. Their overall goal is to do that but in the day to day, its mostly just bloodshed and gaining intel.
  9. There are way too many bulletproof supes in the Boys.
  10. I love being with these characters. In this world. In a lot of ways that is just what this show is. Dropping you into the world. We didnt need full episodes from Marcus, Richie and Syd's perspective last season either but they were a window into what makes them tic. Flesh them out. Through the seasons they take time to show how everyone got here. There is a goal established every season but its always been about the journey. This is Lost all over again. A segment of viewers caught up in plot and wanting answers. Another segment that sees the show differently than how its presented. Others who are there for the journey. To be in the world. The latter are the ones who can enjoy these shows the most because the expecations are not there. You are just experiencing the world presented.
  11. Josh Harnett. Of a tremendous Black Mirror episode from last year. Black Hawk Down. 30 Days of Night. He came in during the post Scream horror boom of the 90s. Moved away from the cute guy leading man roles and now has found his footing as a seasoned actor just getting work in things he likes. He was one of many in Oppenheimer. The man works but he doesnt seem to be chasing the limelight anymore.
  12. Dont feel stupid. You were right on. Tremendous performances from both actresses. I'm also just personally tired of the term filler at this point. Not everything is about plot plot plot. With the shows I love, I love the characters first and foremost. You nail the characters and the show can take me almost anywhere. There is also much weight holding Nat down with her mom. Exploring them two alone deserved attention on their own.
  13. I'm actually not all enthusiastic about this development for Buck. I love his relationship with Eddie. I literally have a best friend like them. But, its because men can be super close with other men just like women are without it meaning anything. So, I always got annoyed by people saying the show was trolling them or pushing for it. They just had a genuinely close bond. Basically brothers. I loved that being displayed on screen. I never once felt that either of them were into men. But, here we are. On TV, in this day and age its not surprising. I think there are also moves to have more than one prominent lgbt character in casts now so there is that too. At least, it is not actually Eddie and Buck falling for each other. Their relationship is still solid as is.
  14. None of these people are ready for marriage except for maybe Lauren
  15. It should be every team for yourself period imo. You are one missed clue or turn away from the bottom during every leg. You don't have to be rude about it but its a race. Do you not know who she is or did someone say that? Because being old (er) would lead you to knowing who she is. Younger people wouldn't.
  16. That's all fine but I dont see the need to look that deep into this. Is term deep dark secret was super extra but he trusted Chelsea with serious information, he put said friend in the spotlight and Chelsea betrayed that just. It doesn't matter what others think of it. Its also a window of things to come. Chelsea gets drunk and throws a bunch accusations and things that will hurt you back in your face. Its hard to trust someone like that. Something important for marriage. I know personally I feel like shit for putting my friend in the situation and having to be blindsided about it later. Now people are turning her into a storyline. Trying to guess which friend it was. Literally what's happening right now. He didn't want that for. It doesn't need to he anything bigger than that. Thank you.
  17. Its not really ridiculous. I think you are kind of trivializing. Not everyone wants to be on TV or be famous. I'm sure the woman would not have appeared on the show if her business was put on full blast. I also bet Jimmy promised no such shenanigans would happen but Chelsea gonna Chelsea. She gets drunk and word vomits. Also, says hurtful things. Any logical person would want to take a step back from that. Alcohol be damned
  18. As always, lack of attraction is not the problem. How you go about that issue is. Lying, dragging someone along, gaslighting, pretending like you don't know why the other party is confused or upset is the problem.
  19. I wish men would not be talked about as we are some monoloith. Whether it be how men express emotions or us being visual creatures, etc etc. Also, ignoring how many women will cancel a man out three seconds after seeing them. People are people. Some people are more closed off than others. Its more about them as a person. Gender is irrelevant. I know a lot of time, we are talking in general terms not every person of a gender but its not applicable. These dudes are just boring and there isn't much THERE there. Even if they were into their matches, I doubt they would be very interesting.
  20. They didn't create the drama. He super overreacted. It probably wouldn't even been made into a thing if he didn't go back to it multiple times. Based on the aftershow, he seems to have been quite the A Hole to Clare as well. I think he's hiding a mean streak under his blandness. What is there to focus on with the other couples? The other ones seem to be tip toeing around potential land minds and not doing much else beyond that. People often complain about one couple or one source of drama dominating a season but the reality is if there were more interesting things going elsewhere, we would get that too. I want to be entertained or at least given something to keep me involved. The other couples have not given me that.
  21. He didn't ask for that and why would that be a turn off to most people? The odds of someone coming into this as a virgin are super slim. I think he's intimidated by strong women. Like from his family. He can't take it. So, he is fabricating reasons to check out. I never believed the attraction was there either.
  22. The last thing this show needs is to go back to two hours. Do we not remember how much complaining there was when that was the case? There is not enough content here to sustain that. What would of been the benefit of that here? I know people are in this huge rush to get off the honeymoon but they are still just married and getting to know each other regardless. The scenery will change but we still be dealing with the same issues that we are already delving into. That's all I heard there. She was so happy to he alone again after a few days married. Good luck with those two.
  23. I don't care that all the women made it. Especially since a few of them have been getting on damn nerves in this block of episodes. People of all walks alive deserve representation. It just doesn't make me root for them. I rather go 50/50 chance any day. It's amazing how many people lost out by just being super stubborn. I rather have some chance than no chance. I love that TJ, other than being a little rah rah and try hard inspirational, he never did anything to draw the hate he got. He was just a good a dude. It sucks that it meant someone like that woman benefitted from his kindness while they were nothing but nasty behind his back. Seeing her cry about "her friend" Ty going out made me ill.
  24. Someone says this for damn near every reality. In actually reality, I think just the usual case of producers at least trying for certain results (keeping their favorites) but it being more about people knowing they are on TV show and playing to that. People are constantly missing the reality that being on camera often informs how people act. They don't need to be scripted anything. People know what they need to do to make good TV, be seen, get a following.
  25. It took this long to have this fabricated men vs women stuff that rears its ugly head on so many of these shows. Sometimes its warranted on shows like The Challenge on MTV or Big Brother. At least at some point. But, this was just strategy wrapped around cause. So many of the guys here were working with women. Whatever. It hopefully pays off for one of them.
