  1. Never been a big fan of Terrence Meyers episodes but this one was great. Loved seeing his alternative life and family. Lots of twists and turns. I enjoyed seeing Watts and George help the boys with the basketball team as well.

    FBI - All Things Media

My take was that Maggie is out for the rest of this season (Season 4) and will return for Season 5 (assuming that they get picked up, which is in the works).
  3. I had stopped watching about a year ago and tuned back in for the last two episodes. Loved the funeral and the dancing with the cast/crew. My favorites have always been Jack and Diane; its been great watching them grow up.
  4. Just watched EPISODE 1 OF SEASON 4. I have really missed this show - - and the theme song which permeates throughout. Loved seeing Amanda Redman again - she is the reason I started watching. Interesting to see which cast members did not return. Looking forward to more. Same excellent quality and storytelling.
  5. I am in the middle of the second episode. I agree - the first was good! I am a big Nicola Walker fan so I was predisposed to like it. The "breaking the fourth wall" is interesting; I was not sure how I would like it but it is different. Interesting cast and having the action tied to the water is a bit different. ETA: Binged all 6 episodes tonight. Recommended. I hope they make a second season.
  6. Started binge-watching Imma Tataranni on MHz Choice - female Italian deputy prosecutor with a great memory who solves crimes while tossing out wise-cracks. So far, so good. Also started bingeing Lupin on Netflix - which has its own forum here and has acquired a lot of great reviews. I watched two episodes so far and it deserves all of the acclaim. Very watchable, smart and well-done so far. Looking forward to Annika with Nicola Walker on PBS, which is supposedly available today.
  7. I miss Jess. I didn't love Remy's style but I didn't hate him either. Looking forward to seeing how he does with Barnes. Jess was more cerebral... Remy strikes me as more of a tough action guy although I did like the opening scenes with the baker and the doorman.
  8. Annika starring Nicola Walker as a marine homicide office in Glasgow starts streaming on PBS Masterpiece on April 17.
  9. It's also going to be interesting to see the team without Sheryl for awhile. She was closest to Jess. 2 of the 3 remaining members just arrived.

    S01.E01: Omelette

Huge fan of Sarah Lancashire so I tuned in specifically to see her. I thought the episode was quite good and will definitely continue watching.
  11. I'm almost finished with Season 3 but was spoiled. Not sure that I want to continue. I thought that I read that it was the actress's choice to quit?
  12. Candice Renoir Season 4 is now coming on April 11. Harry Wild (starring Jane Seymour) debuts on April 4. Tandem (on MHz Choice) is very similar to Renoir and even stars one of Renoir's main actors.
  13. I've started keeping track of the body count in my head during each episode. :)
  14. Finished Chelsea Detective tonight. I really enjoyed it and hope they are renewed. The mysteries are not overly gruesome and the lead detectives have a very nice relationship.
  15. I thought that Amy did particularly well. I wasn't particularly cracked over either Regina or Wanda but neither bothered me.
  16. Huge admiration for Lady Gaga repeatedly telling Liza "I got you".
  17. Tracee Ellis Ross is dangerously close to a wardrobe malfunction.
  18. The rest of this show hasn't been good but that whole moment was amazing.
  19. I really enjoyed Blood on the Tracks (15.4). The volleyball team was an interesting catalyst for Misses Hart, Cherry, Newsome and Ogden. I would like to see more of that grouping. Murdoch being outwitted by Baby Jordan was quite funny -- and out of character. I must have forgotten that Watts' boyfriend's wife was aware that he was gay.
  20. I just subscribed to MHz Choice - which has a ton of foreign mysteries and detective shows with subtitles. The first one I am watching - and enjoying - is Tandem - which is in the Candice Renoir style (and coincidentally stars one of Renoir's lead actors). It is set in the French police world with a Commander and Captain who were formerly married with kids. Light and watchable.
  21. Just finished season 3 of The Bay. I thought it was just okay but I did like the new lead actress. The story dragged a bit and the murderer seemed to come out of left field.
