I really don't care for Gwyneth. I think she's pretentious and full of herself. That said, I was pleasantly surprised with this episode. The connection she had with her assistant seemed genuine and reciprocal. She also did actually did get in there and do several projects unlike other celebs... who are there just to get their faces on TV. I'm looking at you Kim K. I'm thinking perhaps the bedroom was on the bottom level before coming up to the living room kitchen. Even if this was just a studio apartment/townhouse, he'd have to have a full bathroom somewhere.

And... season 3 is following right along with being as disappointing as the first two seasons. I keep trying to separate the TV show from the books, but it's so difficult when so many of the changes and plot lines just make no sense whatsoever. The heart of Virgin River is missing in the TV show and it's just a silly soap opera. I think I'm done.

I've been trying to separate the TV show from the books (I've read all 20), but it isn't easy. This season is so so depressing and I agree with whoever said it's like a soap opera. So much drama, so many silly plot lines (how the hell is Charmaine not showing with twins!) without any of the heart I was hoping this series would have. It's really disappointing. I take my birthday off every year, because my supervisor thinks no one should have to work on their birthdays. So... okay!

In that talking head, her chest looks beyond fake and reminds me of the Halloween costumes with the plastic breasts.

Thank you @NotChristine and you're right... the episode wasn't marked as new or even titled. It randomly recorded today and I was able to watch. The appetizer and entrée in one hour was a really intense challenge for those chefs. I think the additions of the new food stations add an interesting element too. Glad they're back to filming in the store!

Well heck... I can't find the new episodes! One was supposed to be on last night and the other tonight. I see them on the Food Network website too, but they aren't showing in the guide and upcoming programs for DirecTV. I have all new episodes set to record. GGG got me through the pandemic, especially the start when everything was so uncertain. I've seen almost all the back episodes and put up with the delivery games shows and now want to see them back in the Flavortown Market. Damn it! And thanks YEAH NO!

I agree with you @biakbiak. The new episode with the Jenner/Kardashian friend was so so over the top. The homeowner had a ton of outdoor space, but even with extended family, what does one person do with all that? Now if she was planning on flipping the house, that would make sense. It was so hard for me to look at Kim's face with all that spackled on make-up. She was startling in the natural outside lighting... so fake and plastic looking. Of course she wasn't going to do anything on the renovation; she was only there to be seen. At least Kylie (is that her name? I don't follow those people) and Kris did the "work" segment that's always featured. I do generally enjoy this show and am glad it's back.

It chaps my hide that she really wasn't ever held accountable for abusing her husband and still wanted everyone's sympathy for her struggles. So thirsty. Not surprised that Kelly is gone if Heather is coming back. Didn't Heather say she'd never film with Kelly again? Add Elizabeth to the one and done list. Kam's hair and make up were beautiful. It's too bad she tried too hard to "bring it" and ended up looking like a fool. The chicken foot... geez o Pete. I can't believe this was made into something that attacks someone's culture. I wouldn't have eaten it... or offal, or puffer fish, or marmite, or any live foods, etc. if those were put in front of me. I don't have anything against cultures where those types of foods originate, just don't shame or force someone to try something they've said they would not eat. That's just asshole behavior. I was glad to hear that Tiffany seemed to realize this and about the crickets too. Nothing was ever said about Jen, who she was and why she disappeared. That was just weird. Were we not supposed to see her and realize she was suddenly gone? I would be really surprised if Brandi and Stephanie are back next season. Stephanie didn't even have a video package of her time this season and she barely said anything on the reunion. I really won't miss Brandi, especially after this year, but I will miss Stephanie. She really does seems very kind and genuine. She and Brandi have a real friendship and Stephanie has said she couldn't imagine doing the show without Brandi... so...? If this franchise even comes back, I bet it will have a reboot and a few new housewives.

Amber's eyebrows look like some heavy duty microblading with shading. I agree they are way way too dark for her hair. I thought the guys with Suzanne were the issues on her other challenges. Now... not so much. She would've annoyed the hell out of me with her continuous direction. Who takes 3 days to build a shelter?! The yelling is just so stupid. We know you're an alpha male and now all the game in the area does too, so... good luck with hunting!

I could barely watch and FFD through a lot of the most recent episode. I love Aarti Sequeira, but her husband's antics were so distracting and beyond annoying. Then add in Chris Petroni and his schtick and it was more of a "look at me, look at me" competition, rather than a cooking challenge.

I hope this is okay to post here because it's a media thread... From Stephanie and Brandi's podcast, Kary and Brandi flew out to NY on the same plane. Kary sat next to Brandi and even held the baby. They were tested before the flight and Kary was negative. Then they were tested after the flight and before the reunion and Kary came up positive. She had to quarantine in NY as did Brandi and her baby, staying there well after the reunion. They both appear virtually at the reunion also. Brandi continued to test negative as of the last podcast. Kary was in the middle seat on the plane, so I really hope contact tracing was done and others around them were notified... but I kind of doubt this was done.

Wow... Kary is truly a mean, nasty drunk. The way she went after Charles was appalling and disgusting! I noticed her apology to Stephanie didn't mention anything about her behavior towards Charles either... just that she had hurt Stephanie and made Stephanie cry. This tells me she really doesn't care about what she said to Charles. She's a true bully. I was glad to see that Stephanie didn't laugh off Kary's behavior and held her accountable for her actions. Though... I think Stephanie's faith in Kary, saying she is "better than that" is very misplaced. That behavior IS who Kary IS! I've always thought that Alcohol = Truth Serum. I've always liked Brandi, but no more. I really do hope this is her last season. It was nice to see Kam, Stephanie and D'Andra's wine making excursion. It was fun and no drama. More of this please. One thing I like about these ladies is that there are no glam squads anywhere with them on these trips. I get so tired of that on some of the other shows.

Is 24 years old still a kid? This isn't Hunter's first time on a TV show where he'd deserve to be cut some slack. He's been on many, many episodes of Guy's other shows and his delivery or presence is the same on all of them. Maybe he just doesn't have the personality for TV? Just my opinion...

What was up with Guy's voice on the first two shows? He was really hoarse. Not sure if he mentioned something and I missed it. Please... no more Hunter. He is wooden beyond belief with zero personality. Everything he says is like he's reading from a 2nd grade primer.

There's a reunion. Andy has mentioned that it took a long time to film. I love Heather... she called Jen out, putting the blame directly back on Jen's ugly behavior from the night before. I've said it before, Jen is seriously damaged and it's not fun watching her spiral. I like Meredith and her disengaging. It might not make for the best reality TV, but I respect the hell out of her removing herself from drama that's negative to her well being. Now if I didn't have to see or even hear Brooks anymore, my like would move to love. This franchise needs an Archie or a River. And not just for shitting in a closet.

I would bet the most recent shows were filmed sometime after the initial lock down in CA around mid March and before we knew as much as we do now about spread and precautions. The last few shows have been filmed exclusively at one market - Fields in Canoga Park, CA and there are not many cars in the parking lot. I suspect (I hope!) also that testing was done of the participants, judges and Alex... especially as the judges had to eat the food the participants made. The judges are spaced farther apart than on the shows before COVID also. Though having someone paw through my groceries when I came out of the store, even back then would've made me very uncomfortable! Even with all of this, I still prefer this version of the show than the rehash of episodes with "What Would Alex Make." No thanks.

Jen has such low self esteem, which I think is why she demands undying loyalty from her "friends." I suspect Coach Shah has cheated on her numerous times and she's scared to death of others "leaving" her also. She's a sad, pathetic woman who needs therapy in a big, bad way. Heather's quick reflexes and grab definitely saved Jen from a really nasty fall off that bar top in the shoe store. She was going down! Lisa at the racktrack... hell, I drive faster than her on the 405 freeway and I'm not even in a Ferrari! She missed an awesome opportunity to ZOOM! Bravo... if you're reading... no more Brooks. PLEASE! He is beyond annoying and I FF through every scene he's in.

Tiffany's vocal fry is beyond annoying. I can barely stand listening to hear speak. I'm open minded about trying different cuisine, but there's no way I would've eaten that chicken foot and would not have been even 1/2 as nice as Kam was. Loved that she had the bowl with the pieces of the foot hid under the table, just like a kid. D'Andra's face is painful to see and her lips are so overinflated. I think she had a facelift during the hiatus and it and the fillers must not have settled by the time they started filming. I notice her lips look way less full and more natural in her talking heads. I don't miss LeeAnne one bit.

Yes... Right from the first meeting, Elena was noticeably interested in Grace and to me, not just because that was her lover's wife. She seemed fascinated and mesmerized by Grace and that grew with each interaction. That seems to give some credibility to Jonathan's claim that Elena was obsessive. I'm finding Nicole/Grace's hair very distracting. In a lot of scenes that's all I see is her hair. I was glad to see she has a couple of other coats to wear though other than just the green one. Does Elena's husband only push the baby around all day in that pink pram?

Yes, Bennett was eating with a whisk. Were there not enough forks for everyone or was this just another attempt at quirk? Miles sharing his feelings at breakfast (I think?) with everyone... I kept talking to the TV, telling Karen to reach over and touch him in some way... his arm, his hand... SOMETHING to show her support of him and his vulnerability. And... nothing. That made my heart hurt for him. Also, in everything we're shown, Karen's body language is turned away from Miles. She's definitely not into him and after four months???? I also wonder why Karen didn't participate in the talks with the other wives. Could it be all editing and she's actually into Miles and is showing him affection off camera? Damn you show! I want Amani to be my friend. ❤️ She won at dominoes. Did we ever hear what her coupon prize would be? Maybe for a puppy?!

Marcus... really? Was that housemother thing real? Even if she's a housekeeper, any woman needs to run from that needy, helpless momma's boy. I'm shuddering now thinking of having to take care of him. Does Kyle remind anyone else of the actor Adam Driver? Kristie sure seems to have chemistry with him more than she does Stewart. She was all up on Kyle on that bed.

This past January I attended a "An Evening with the Celebrity Housewives" show in Arizona. Sonja was on the panel along with LeeAnn Locken from Dallas and Kelly Dodd from Orange County. Sonja was absolutely delightful, charming and very gracious. You'd never think that Sonja and the Sonja from this week's episode was the same person.
