  1. Why would it matter if Knox knew Jamie was in Ardsmuir? Jamie did his time and was released. It’s not as if he could arrest or even harass him for that. The only thing he could do is pressure Jamie for info on Murtaugh. Why couldn’t Jamie just plead ignorance to having seen him or knowing his whereabouts? I’m not really understanding the motivation for killing Knox.
  2. Would people in the 18th century really have been so accepting of a mulatto baby? It surprised me when the daughter agreed to nurse the baby and then when they wanted to raise it. Did it happen the same way in the book? I don’t recall.
  3. Beautiful episode and glad to have it back. My only side eye was the extended sex montage set to Roger singing. It felt cheesy and out of place. ETA: Did anyone else cringe during the flashback to Jamie and Murtaugh in Scotland when Murtaugh promised to always guard Jamie’s back? My first thought was that was a really poor choice of words from the screenwriters.
  4. V. Unbeatable was amazing. I was gasping in amazement through the whole act. When that kid flipped through the air and landed on the bike seat, I cringed. That had to hurt his little coconuts, right? I love their act, but I’m always afraid someone is going to get seriously injured.
  5. Wow! That was a great episode. I hate Kai, but he sure makes things interesting.
  6. I thought Hans generated the most energy tonight. Tyler the violin player and Marcelito the singer with 2 voices bored me. Alexa the dog act was ok. Duo Transcend’s Greatest Showman routine was interesting, and the Russian Trio on the bouncing board grew tiresome after the first few jumps, even with the fire underneath. This should be V. Unbeatable’s to win next week.
  7. So the first 20 minutes, every time "cupid" appeared on my screen, I thought, "this guy is so beautiful. I could look at him all day." Now I'll be having nightmares of Pothos' sharp teeth and evil grin. Kudos to the makeup department. Why would Dorian and Emma think they're not married? Even if they were under the influence, they still went through with the ceremony. And I hate Alyssa Chang. She's irredeemable at this point.
  8. I just finished watching the 5th episode, Little Rock, and I loved it! The positive, uplifting vibe of this show is a nice change of pace from what you usually see, and AJ is growing on me. The best moment was when Robert went to talk to Brick’s dad about letting him be “too much” and comparing how wearing dresses made his son feel happy to how guns make the dad happy. I thought this whole episode was really well done. And why am I feeling sympathetic for Damien? He and Robert can’t get back together after the breach of trust. I wonder where this is going.
  9. Wow. That was a tough episode to watch. So much damage was inflicted on so many people. Dasha giving Jenn some hope was nice though.
  10. Looks like poor Marcus is in for a world of hurt. He gave up Stanford to join the ski team and be with Kat. Looks like a bad decision.
  11. That secret monster was all kinds of ridiculous. Was he directed to dance around like he had to use the bathroom?
  12. The juxtaposition between the package for James‘ final dance talking about his loss and Hannah’s talking about The Bachelorette was jarring. It just made her look whiny and insipid.
  13. In what universe are these people considered “Hollywood elite”? Contestants have always been D list celebrities and athletes past their prime looking to recapture (or stir up) a few minutes of fame.
  14. Sean really should have been eliminated 4 weeks ago.
  15. Maybe there will be some backlash after tonight. After Sailor’s total snot fest breakdown, maybe some people will rethink their votes for Sean. (I know, who am I kidding? I fully expect him to make it to the finals.)
  16. I’m shocked that V. Unbeatable came in 4th. I thought for sure they were Top 2 material, at least.
  17. The Terry Bradshaw vs Adam Rippon matchup was hilarious. So many funny moments. My favorite was when Bradshaw was saying to take it easy on him and start with a football question, and Steve Harvey pretended to read off the card, “we asked 100 figure skaters....”
  18. Well, the Chicago station decided to cover a possible tornado for the whole freaking hour, and then show only the last 3 minutes of AGT. So the 5 spots went to V. Unbeatable, Detroit Youth Choir (2 youth choirs, really?), the military singers, Emanne and who?
  19. I wonder if the ridiculous princess bride had her alterations done at Kleinfeld’s. The straps kept falling on her PEPPER GOWN!
  20. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but Shay didn’t bother me this episode. In fact, I liked him. He was helpful and fun with his bride, and seemed pleasant with the new guy. Yes, his first few shows did not paint him favorably, but I have a feeling that was more due to producer manipulation than his actual personality.
  21. Really? I’ll say it again: too many kids.
  22. Aside from Benicio, Robert and the Massoudi Brothers, who would you even put through?
