A Night With My Ex - General Discussion
ChiCricket replied to Meredith Quill's topic in A Night With My Ex
I think we're all already in it (aka PTV.) :-) -
Ok, I checked out Mama Pedro's Facebook. All I saw was her asking everyone to adopt dogs instead of buying them, and saying if you can't take proper care of a pet, you shouldn't have a pet. It was all in Spanish (but I can read that.) Am I on the wrong Facebook page? I followed the link given in this forum, and I saw nothing about Haitians whatsoever (and I looked at a lot of the page.) Help, please?

This has been bugging me too! Maybe he wasn't raised by his mom, or something? That's all I've got.

Here's the thing about the end of that conversation. I speak pretty fluent Spanish, and I replayed it several times, and asked my Puerto Rican husband's view of what was said. We both agree that Pedro's mom said (paraphrased) " if you don't believe in Pedro (and his family), then divorce him, let him go!" Then the (bratty) sister said" YES! Divorce him....PERIOD!" I *think* "en punto" = "period." I think Chantal *thought* the sister called her "una puta" (a whore), and when she asked the sister if she called her that, in the heat of the moment, she said "yeah, I DID call you that!" (even though she really didn't.) But I think both families behaved like ASSES ...especially Chantal's brother, and Pedro's sister..both entitled little shits , imho.

My husband said "I guess they gave Cody blue balls because he's been away from Jessica for a whole week" (yes, he's twelve) ;-)

Will she stay or will she go? Whoopi Goldberg demands $3.5 million, an executive producer title and her nemesis - an ABC executive - fired in exchange for her return to The View. Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4452798/Whoopi-Goldberg-stay-View-three-conditions.html#ixzz4m5TW5ntr

And what is on Michelle's forehead? At first I honestly thought it was a woman from India sitting there.

I thought I was going to hate it, but I actually like the whole family (so far.)

I agree, but also agree with another poster that they should have had separate male and female classes to lessen their embarrassment. -

I'm from the North. It's not just Southern manners..it's just plain good manners to say please and thank you, no matter where you come from. Guess the Duggars didn't teach please and thank you to their kids because those words are not in the Bible. ;-) I haven't read the entire book, so I may be mistaken. :-) -

A day?? How about a month? He'd run away crying after a few days. -
How do you know this? :)

I was confirmed in the Lutheran church in eight grade..with only going to look into the door of the first class. I was horribly, painfully, shy, and I looked in, didn't recognise ANY of the kids in the class. I then proceeded to escape to my beloved library across the street and read my heart out until the class was finishing. Then I went across the street to the church to wait for my dad to pick me up. Wash, rinse, repeat every week until it was time to be confirmed...and they LET me (it was a huge class, I'm sure I just blended in) To bring it back to the Duggers, I might as well have BEEN one, since I probably got as much real religion education as they have gotten. ;-)
