Marriott?  HA!  I used to be super addicted to soda (and cigs) and coca cola was all I would drink.  Pepsi sucked!  For me, while it may seem silly, soda is not something I can have a little bit of.  It goes from 1/day to 6/day so I do not have it any longer.  Cigs are a thing of the past also.  My dad was an alcoholic and luckily that was never my thing.  Congrats on beating ambien!

It was not a Marriott - it was a small local place, kind of budget but clean and nice on Tropicana Blvd.  It was open 24/7, as most places in Vegas tend to be!  It was NOT the same place that Tracy and Clint checked into on Love After Lockup.

Congratulations on kicking soda - that is still a vice of mine but I can imbibe with moderation, lol!  Smoking is tough to kick - congratulations!

He is not thinking sober and certainly has not been humbled, Tiffany will eventually realize he is no prince charming she herself will be addicted to the drama and endless cycle of his verbal  abuse/apologies and she is dragging her son along for the ride.

Yeppers - someone said, upthread, that she needs to know and practice the three "C"s - you did not cause it, you can't control it, you can't cure it.  Emphasis on the second two!!!!  No saying, "But yeah......"  or "But I am different!"  NO YOU ARE NOT, Tiff.

I'd prefer it if he blows his own money instead of stealing stuff from friends, family and strangers.  I'm scared for Daniel.  I just do not trust Ronald not to do something drastic to get money.  He had no problem screwing over his own mother to feed his addiction so I don't know that he is really above using a child if it'll get him what he wants.

After all, Ronald's behavior is never his fault....it's the addictions fault.

Seriously, Tiff should never ever leave Daniel alone with Ronald.  Like ever.

What if it was one of those pine air fresheners?

In that case, I can understand why he had to go there IMMEDIATELY and speed like an idiot to get there before they closed at 6:00. But Tiffany thwarted his whole plan. She who didn't trust him to go alone and holds the purse-strings didn't bring her purse! That'll teach him!

What about when he went to pick up her father at the casino? She knew where he was going and was fine with that.

I don't think she WAS fine with that idea, but since they weren't married yet, she couldn't wield her authority. I recall her waiting breathlessly for his return and the news that he hadn't succumbed to temptation. The whole car scene in the episode appeared like each was trying to teach the other a lesson. Since she wouldn't give Rawnold the credit card and let him go by himself, he was going to make her sorry she came along by speeding. In turn, she was going to teach him “a thing or two" by not bringing money along so the trip to the store would be futile.

What's wrong with her loosening the leash a bit and saying, "Here's $20, bring me the receipt and the change." My mother used to do that to me all the time.

A study some years ago asked a sample of women what they thought about during sex, expecting I guess some answer like Brad Pitt; most of them answered "thinking about the things I need to be doing when I'm done here."

Ha ha, I'm laughing at this so-called study because Brad Pitt on the brain is my no-fail place to go. Carry on.

And that is such an unhealthy way to communicate.  What are you, 15?

What were the US occupations of

Deavon

Laura

Jenny

Not sure about Laura and Jenny, but among other things, Deavan was a makeup artist at an amusement park. She did horror makeup for some zombie-type attraction at the amusement park. Seems to me that she might be able to do something similar in S. Korea; is cosplay big there? If so, she might have a niche.

And that explains her own ghoulish frightening makeup!

Didn't post for some reason:

Oh cool, I didn't know that, and I was getting info from a reality site which failed to say that.

She needs to go lighter on the pink  (when she was telling Jihoon the csection date had been moved up).

That was her fabulous job?  A fabulous job would have fabulous benefits, like health, 401K, etc...I doubt this was a job that she could retire from.

She could probably make some money with all the anime loving people in S. Korea.

Devan might be able to get some occasional media or modeling work in Korea (I'll leave that open), but she should invest in whitening her teeth. However, I wouldn't be surprised if she smokes. Jihoon probably does. Anyway, they're not going to get a house or even an apartment  unless they get some family help or Devan has secret savings.

This is an older post now and may have been answered in a new thread but since I'm so far behind and it will be impossible to remember where I read it, I'll post it now.

I listened to part of an interview with her. Someone asked if she would be back to do something with the horror makeup for some Halloween festival and she said she couldn't answer because of her NDA. She then said that the show made her say she was a model and not disclose her real job, even though she only worked a little as a model and it was usually for a family member who was a photographer and for the shoots where she did makeup and modeled as part of a group where they would trade services for photos to use in their portfolios.

She said she did the horror makeup more than model but wasn't sure why they didn't want her to say that, and someone suggested that it may have been because she wasn't a licensed cosmetologist, which could cause issues for that group. Someone else suggested it was because Tiffany's job is being disclosed as a cosmetologist, which makes just as much sense. also, this show has a fixation with modeling for some reason.

Her primary, good job was not disclosed because the show said it could cause people to show up at her employment just to see if she was there and that the employer would not be too happy. The actual name of the business wasn't disclosed, but her job was:

Spoiler

She worked at a furniture store selling furniture for commissions. According to her, she made $60-70k per year. There were other people who confirmed her employment and that the yearly salary sounded correct.

Devans teeth look like she has a side hustle building beaver dams.  IJS.

I remember tooth whitening being painful.  Is there a less painful way to do it? If so, she should invest in that.

Mine was uncomfortable and expensive, but I wanted it so much I did it gladly. I keep it up at home with industrial strength dental bleach and custom trays. There are whitening strips, but they don't deep bleach the teeth. My smile is one of my few physical assets left at this point in my life, so I'm willing to suffer a bit for it.
