I thought Brian, Rachael, Nicole and Steve made a pretty good team tonight.

What's wrong with that picture?  Especially when you throw in frequent visits from Rick Tyler and Ben Ginsberg.  I want my MSNBC back!  I don't mind Nicolle though, Ana was amusing as a second stringer on CNN.

Nicole is doing her thing on MSNBC again tonight - covering today's primaries/caucus with Brian Williams, Rachel Maddow .  She looks good, but I think her hair is too long.  I just tuned in so I haven't heard her talk/cackle yet.

Nicolle is doing primary coverage tonight on MSNBC.  Rachel Maddow did the sweetest thing for her - she bought her the domain LoseWithCruz.com.  I'm tellin' ya, they are buddies, which I really do think says something about Nicolle.

Nicolle is working her magic on Rachel, just like she did on The Whoopster.  Head/Ass!!!

NextIteration and MedicineCrow, your pics are too damn similar! I think you all need to have a mud 'rasslin' match to see who gets ownership of the red black thing ...

I am sorry, was that too shallow a comment? It's just been that kind of day for me, what with all the fashion talk and whatnot.  Sorry!

Oh merribreeze.....

Thank you so much for posting the wonderful 1997 interview that Rosie did with dear Patty Duke.

I stopped by The View forum today just to see what was new and that was a real unexpected treat.;)

Rest in peace, dear Anna.

Excuse me, Celia, but I don't see any similarity between a beautiful rose (Nextiteration) & my flaming comet.  Just sayin'.

my EYES are so BAD, lol ... I should have probably mentioned that!   I got the astigmatismism so bad I need reading glasses when I wear my reading glasses.

To be honest, MedicineCrow, for the longest time I thought your avatar was a picture of an Indian headdress.   Like it was feathers or something.  No lie.  I thought it had something to do with your screen name sounding kind of like an Indian name.  haha!

A quick search of Bitsy's name indicates that a second lawsuit brought against her by Susan Hassett for plagiarizing GF books

was dismissed at the end of March 2016.

http://radaronline.com/celebrity-news/elisabeth-hasselbeck-plagiarism-lawsuit-dismissed/

I remember a lot of board discussion with the first suit- but was unaware of their second books and this case.

Damn, I feel bad for Hassett.  It sounds like whomever Bitsy got to write/edit her book covered their tracks pretty well.  That sucks.

Yes, but my girl Karma has touched Bitsy in a very special way, don't you think?

From reading the court papers- it seems Susan wrote in much more depth- Bitsy's ghostwriter apparently wrote the Cliff Notes version (so it seemed to differ)

(and to correct myself- Susan has one book- Bitsy has two)

As much as I dislike Bitsy, the Hasett lawsuits seemed legally frivolous. Unfortunately, we can't copyright or trademark ideas or inspirations. It might have been lousy and sneaky for Bitsy to get the idea for the book from Hasett (assuming Hasett's allegations as true), but it wasn't actionable.

RO posted this exchange from her blog -

(Joaquin) When you said goodbye at The View you said that you'd be back for crafting - you have a hot glue gun and you will travel. What happened to that? :)

Anybody know what that means?

I saw that and I tried googling it and found nothing. Many, many more symbols but not that one. Did Rosie make that up!

Lovely. ...just what we need another Republican fembot show. The only satisfaction I have is imagining Bitsy calling up Geddie and begging for her own show, or even a regular or guest shot on this show.

Sweaty Geddie wasn't a host on The Spew but there isn't a thread for other people who worked on the show so I'm putting this here. Apparently he's going to Executive Produce a special for Megyn Kelly that's called ‘Megyn Kelly Presents’ which will air on the regular FOX network and not FN.

http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/megyn-kellys-fox-show-gets-a-name-new-airdate/290713

Wow, Geddie's first gig without Babs!    Luckily, it's just a one-time special and not a regular thing.   We knew Geddie had a love connection with Ailes because that's how Bitsy finally got another job after the network canned her here; but apparently he also talked him (or Kelly) into producing a special too.

He spent his entire career "producing" Barbara Walters - she even pulled the strings to get him a "lifetime achievement" Emmy.  I think that greedy fuck needs to retire permanently.

Watching MSNBC coverage of the New York primaries and there is Nicole Wallace talking about how AMAZING it is that Donald Trump has completely changed in the last two weeks.  It's a story all by itself ... no nasty late night tweets, he met with Meghan Kelly!!!  He is a different man, not the bigoted misogynistic asshole everyone thought he was!  All that nastiness is behind him according to Nicole.  It's a miracle!

I love how dismissive Rachel Maddow and Bryan Williams were of her non-points.  Does Nicole realize Trump finally hired a guy who is a professional political campaign manager who has forbid his usual bullshit antics and this big "change" has nothing to do with Donald Trump has "changing" at all, but rather is the result of an ultimatum given to him by this Paul J. Manafort, the dude he just hired?  DUHHHHH so glad she is off this show.

OMG they just said Trump may actually LOSE in Manhattan.  Wait, where is Michelle?  Did they just remove her from the stage?

DUHHHHH so glad she is off this show.

So am I. The worst part about her is that she pretends to be more rational and compromising than other Republican types out there like, say, Candace and Paula, but she always falls in line in the end. She'd be kissing Trump's ass everyday on this show right now, just like Paula, and Whoopi would be twice as domineering as she's already been this season with her number one sycophant on stand-by.

Without getting into my views of Trump - which is NOT the purpose of these boards - Nicolle has talked on Morning Joe, somewhat sheepishly, that her father supports Trump. So maybe she's trying to rationalize that.

I wasn't giving an opinion of Trump either? I was discussing Nicolle's opinion of Trump. It's a matter of her colors being on display when you consider what Nicolle has previously said about him as compared to now.

R.I. P.  Prince. Dead at 57. Too soon. Im so sad. Another legend gone.  *sigh*

Maybe Raven will let someone get out some words about his death before she interrupts with whatever crap is trending. Doris Roberts' little moment got jacked thank to Raven's mouth sheesh.

So I heard about Prince's death while reading the episode thread; I'm a little concerned that my first thought was the memory of Sherri making an ass of herself when Prince popped into the show a couple years ago.

Ginger-looks like the part where she asked him to give her his gloves was edited out-still she acted like a damn fool that day. I sufffered extreme second hand embarrasment watching that episode when it aired originally.

I may be in the minority here, but I find Sherri's reaction and response just fine. All day long I've been seeing posts and tweets by people going on and on and on about Prince. Sometimes it was fine (he WAS a genius and should be acknowledged as such), sometimes it was too much (people feel some need to be part of something big, and they either go overboard, or they make it all about themselves).  I think Sherri was just fine - expressing her sadness, and showing a very cool clip of Prince and her.  Rosie posted a video of Prince's appearance on her show, in comparison, and that's fine too.

Prince was a private man, but I don't see Sherri betraying any confidences or secrets of Prince in her posts.

 I  agree.

Also, I cant fault Sherri. If I had gotten to meet Prince, I'd have lost it.

The problem for me though, was, that she acted overly emotional, crying, etc., with every single celebrity that she said she was a "HUGE" fan of.

Damn, she's a worker, despite my opinion that she's basically talentless,  the woman knows how to hustle.   I can't hate on that.

Oh me too, absolutely!   But then I'm not being paid to be a professional talk show host who meets celebrities all the time.   If Sherri had told Prince, "I've been waiting my entire life for you to make love to me!" backstage I probably would have high-fived her after and  it would have only been awkward for her and maybe Prince (whom I'm sure heard that all. the. time. LOL)  but fangirling out on camera made it awkward for a million people.   Or at least a few viewers.   Heh.

Sherri is indeed a one - maybe two - note actor. Most of her roles are for the angry/smartass girl friend of the lead characters. Her "reality" & game show bits show her toothy, syrupy sweet & naïve personas.

Revealing her contradicting true self on The Spew obviously didn't hurt her ability to get work. Contrarily, like Drumpf, Ann Coulter & Kanye West, the more outrageous she acts, the bigger her fan base becomes. They must all have the same agent/manager/booker/PR peeps. I don't get it.

While a small role, Sherri gave a very muted and tasteful performance in "Precious." She played a receptionist at the school for underserved girls that Precious attended - tough and no-nonsense but not mean. She could have played it "sassy" but she kept it understated.

I actually do think that Sherri does have some talent if given a good role and a good director.

I wish Sherri would be given a meaty, quality roll in something. There's no doubt she has potential that hasn't been tapped, but it seems she can't shake the casting list of stereotypes. Precious was a good film, but dark. I doubt Lee Daniels had a problem setting the tone for Sherri's role.

Sherri did a good job in the Carolina White (???) story which was a dramatic role as well. But imo Sherri thinks she is a sexy, sassy woman that is hilarious and I think it is a shame that those that hire her for all other roles figure the stereotype image is her. Let alone the new show she is hosting for some form of the boy meets girl free for all. In addition she seems to prefer Black roles instead of all roles of women much more talented than herself.
