Tommy says Christie would have to use her power, otherwise it looks bad to the rest of the alliance.

Tommy still has hope that one of the 'others' will be evicted this week.

Tommy is revved up now.

Tommy - how is he going to look to America after he takes their side

and then Jack says something about an American flag (that maybe cliff has?)

Jack thinks that Cliff getting an American flag is proof that he is America's player.

Nicole continues to be adorably dim. When will the cool kids learn that if you treat people like Nicole well, they'll do anything for you so long as you include her.

I always like to note how much Derrick was aided by someone else bringing Christine in against his objections and that was one of the biggest things that helped him that year (along with a bunch of other stuff he had no control over).

Cliff just told Holly that she and Jackson are not who he wants to see go home this week.  I also love how people are coming out of the woodwork to tell Cliff that they've always wanted to work with him.

God I just do not understand Holly and Jacksons appeal. They are a couple but Cliff wants to piss me off just having to work with them. Hes being stupid

And I hope since Cliff is both a fan of the show and a mature adult (unlike so many others in the house), that his ego will not be swayed by their nonsense.  Does Holly not realize how transparent she is when she tells Cliff she just wants to play a game her parents will be proud of?

Sam and Christie are talking.  Sam's been saying that Unde9able is a joke to him because he knows he's at the bottom of that alliance.  Then he started talking about how much of a threat Jack is.  Christie says she yelled at Jack last night about something.  She's kind of trashing Jack to Sam.  I'm curious to see if she tells Jack later about what Sam was saying about him.

Son is now upstairs with Cliff talking about Ovi's power.

Cliff sounds pretty dismissive.  I'm not sure how that was suppose to sway Cliff.

ETA: Now Son is suddenly not happy with how Nicole was treated, either.

Please.

And he's telling Cliff there's people in the house who will blow smoke up his ass.

You don't say.

Cliff is telling Nicole that a lot of people are wanting to be best friends with him.

Nicole says she feels like the 6 are trying to pull her in.   She says she feels like Nick is trying to pull her in, too.

Cliff says he has no respect for Nick and Bella's game and that he doesn't trust him, but from a numbers standpoint he feels like he has to work with them this week.  He says he doesn't want her to think he's really in with Nick and Bella as a result of this.

Christie says she wants to get down to the final 5 with honest people, blah blah blah.

There are 5 honest people left?  Are there 2 honest people left?

Bitch, did you high kick yourself in the head or something?  'Cause you were sho nuff part of the Nicole bully brigade when it suited you.

FOH with that.

The image stuck in my brain was the group ragging on how Nicole was a liar and a sneak, and whatever else, and Tommy was jumping up and down with absolute glee, being in on the smack talk.

The only satisfying end to this is Cliff, Nicole and Kat being the last three standing.  then I don't care who wins.

I need clarification on Christie’s power. So say Jack and Jackson are on the block, Jackson wins veto and Christie activates her power. Jackson become the beneficiary of the special veto, correct? But he is already off the block as he is using the regular veto. Can he also take Jack off the block and name both replacements? Or does he just take himself off the block (like he would have anyway) and name his own replacement? I assume it’s just the latter which is not all that great.

I'm pretty sure in that scenario Jackson can only use the veto once (and would presumably use it on himself to come off the block) and he would name the replacement.

It's only 1 veto - the regular veto becomes a Diamond Veto if activated. So if Jackson wins, he takes himself down and names his replacement. Or takes Jack down and names a replacement and stays on the block himself.

I do like that Cliff's target is Jack. That's not the worst target he could have chosen. An obvious one, for sure, and I think someone like Christie, Tommy, or Jackson would be better to go after, but not a horrible target at all.

I hope Cliff puts up AnalySis next to him. That would give Christie less reason to use her power.

I am disappointed that Cliff likes Jackson (and Holly). It just means that Jackson is likely to get farther than he should be.

Re:  Jack’s body language/mannerisms/‘talk’ with Kemi in the kitchen regarding her water bottle in the fridge and with Ovi in the supply room regarding Ovi being untouchable.

Has he done the same or similar with other houseguests?

I don't have feeds so the first time I’ve seen it was on the show.  Didn’t think my opinion could drop any lower.  Or am I reading too much into it as I’m not a fan?

I usually don't get affected by these things - like, I get angry and I go on rants and whatnot but that's about it. So maybe it's because I'm PMSing (tm Christie) but the Ovi/Jack moment in the storage room really bugs me. I think it's because Jack is all amped up - his eyes are shining, he's practically dancing on his toes, he's got that asshole smirk on his face and telling Ovi, "I can't touch you, right? I can't touch you."

I think it reminds me so much of an asshole ex of mine that used to pull the same shit ("I can't hit you. I can't hit you because you're a woman and that's wrong, isn't it?") that I get actually angry every time I think about it. I can picture Jack so clearly in my head in that moment still and it's shitty and yeah, I'm gonna hate him all the way through the season no matter what because of it.

(And yes, I eventually woke up and realized how much more awesome of a person I was than him and I packed up all my shit and moved out while he was away for a week with friends but conveniently "forgot" to take out the garbage from Day 1 of his vacation. In the middle of summer. With all the windows and doors shut. Oops.)

Then I picture Cody listening to that long spiel about the water bottle, then saying, "Hold that thought" and walking away.

One of the best things I ever saw was an edit of that moment, where someone took the moment that Paul stared at the door like he was actually expecting Cody to walk back in and stretched it out to 10 minutes, making Paul look like the biggest goober ever. It doesn't seem to be up on Youtube anymore. Sadness!

Jackson is pissssssssssed.

tommy says if he wins veto he will take someone off.

Sorry Tommy, that doesn't save them both lol

Jack - you put me up, i'm playing veto and fucking winning it.

But Jack, you couldn't even win this HoH even though you were right there. You got beat by the old guy and it was your comp! It was your specialty! You're the greatest Big Brother player of all time! (He said it sarcastically but I don't care, I'm rolling with it.) AND YOU LOST, ASSHOLE.

I'm stunned and thrilled that Cliff gets the whole "enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing. Isn't it hilarious that him moronically getting caught set this all up? If he hadn't been caught, Nicole would be evicted, Ovi would be back in the house and Cliff and Ovi would be helping out a nine person alliance to eliminate Jessica.

OMG.  Could it be?  Could Jackson make another Marcellus Moment?  ::Oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please::  Come on, everyone...we manifested Snackson getting on slop, let's manifest a Marcellus Moment!

Watching the kittens reminds me that I will always and forever adopt adult cats. It's like when a random kid has a meltdown in the middle of the grocery store and suddenly I want to send the doctor who did the husband's vasectomy an Edible Arrangement.

My best friend and her husband coined the phrase "kitten brain" to explain the random psychotic behavior. Scout, the cat in the picture, is six now but I brought him home when he was about two months old. That was the first time I had had a kitten in over 19 years (the age my beloved orange kitty Milo died) so I had forgotten just how much work they are! It was karma, though, for my other cat, Willow, who was five and had bullied and scared poor old Milo the last few years of his life. She's the first female I've had and I didn't know how bossy they are when I got her! Anyway, I didn't have much sympathy for her when she was being chased around and under attack from little Scout (at 22 lbs. he is no longer little!).
