Isn’t that where Matt is right now. Arizona?  Seems I just saw him posting from a plane flying into Arizona.

Amy always has to have her nose up Matt’s butt!

Go away Amy!  We’re divorced and I’m free!

Well, Matt may be in Surprise, AZ at his vacation property but there's been no recent mention of being in AZ on his instagram. Meanwhile  Amy is in Sedona AZ - which is a two hour drive from Surprise, and actually farther away from Matt than when she is home.

I am sick of that scarf also. I am surprised she doesn't have several in rotation since she is usually pretty put together with a variety of clothes. I don't like that jacket either. I wish she had worn that stylish ombre puffy coat and a scarf to match it instead.
i wonder if they are thinking of getting a vacation home? It would be fun for them if they do.

A vacation home in AZ (how original of them if they do)?  I'd think C&A would prefer traveling to a wide variety of locations; you know, having adventures!  M&C had specific reasons for securing their second home there...  Her parents live nearby, and Matt needs warm and humid weather for his aching bones and joints in the winter, as well as a retreat from the pressures of running the farm.  It doesn't seem C&A need that reliable "escape" in a particular location.

Well, since there's no indication they're buying a vacation home at all, I'm not stressed over it. If they did buy in the Sedona area, they'd be close to a lot of hiking and road tripping things. Surprise, where Matt is, is much more of a retirement community.

If they were to be looking at vacation homes - and again I doubt it - if they can afford Sedona then I am a little jealous. I'd love a home there.

Maybe Amy’s bones ache and she likes being in the same state as Matt!

Didnt Amy follow Matt and Caryn to Hawaii?  I know different islands but same state!

Do something different Amy. Go visit Florida.

That's hardly different. How about....Kansas! Upstate NY! Wall SD (I can just see a whole new recipe collection: We Dug  Wall Drug).

There's a whole wide wonderful America to explore. Do that!

Chris not liking corn has made me laugh for some reason.  I guess I am in a weird mood.  But corn?  It's literally the most inoffensive, uncontroversial vegetable out of all the vegetables.  It's not as weird as asparagus or as divisive as broccoli; it's just harmless, bland corn!  Even peas are more exciting!  🤷‍♀️  Too funny.  And p.s. and by the way, I love asparagus and broccoli but have a husband who hates them both but loves corn.  Us humans are a complicated bunch.

I've never heard of corn in chili, but sometimes she adds whatever she has left in the fridge to soup.

I actually googled whether or not people put corn in chili thinking it's a regional thing and google tells me that southwest chili does in fact have corn.  Santa Fe chili and corn chili and the like came up as results.  I guess I just took her post too literally in that he hates corn period, but yeah, maybe she just means he doesn't like it in his chili, which is fair.  I am way too involved in this now.  I need to step away.

I never had corn on pizza, but had it in the UK several years ago. I love me corn, but not on a pizza half wound up on the floor.

fwiw- I was sick while visiting a friend and it was the only place nearby that delivered

I don't generally care for chili, but in the southwest I have seen it with corn in it.  It is a regional thing.  I have also seen corn offered as a pizza topping.  Not to my taste but to each their own.

Someone mentioned Amy making soup out of whatever she finds in the fridge. That doesn't bother me because it used to be a common way of using up odds and ends of vegetables and meat when you don't have enough for a meal or using things before they go bad.

With all of that said, I still don't see me looking to her for any for cooking advice.  I don't find her recipes appealing and her videos drag on.  Prepare the food.  Cook the food.  Show the final product.  I don't need to see ten minutes of let me tell you what's in the can, let's talk about the can, did you know there are different sizes of cans, let's talk about what's in it, did you know that different things can come in cans, watch me open the can, let's discuss the different ways to open a can . . . .

Agree. I've had it, its not a favorite variation but it tastes fine.

Thats a weird bridge too far for me, and I like both anchovies and pineapple on pizza (but not together on the same pizza, oh god no)

This. I'm not a huge fan of cooking shows anyway but there's a reason Lidia Bastianich's show on PBS is so good despite being 24 minutes long - everything is ready to go and there's a finished example already there so we don't have to sit thru an hour of cooking time while the host natters on

Not to mention the added time in Amy’s cooking videos because she forgot ingredients, forget whether she’s already added ingredients, putting the wrong ingredients in the dish, telling us the wrong amount for the ingredients, and my personal favorite, getting the ingredients stuck to her face 😊

Don't forget the inevitable "where is my this," and "where did I put my that"...

As I think about my can comments, I recall the time she used a canned product without waxing on about opening the can - the frittata of horrors.  Yes, that was when she put kidney beans in a frittata.  Of course a frittata is another recipe where you can use up small bits of things.  For some examples that don't make most people hurl: cheese, onion, bell pepper, tomato, spinach, other green vegetables.  However, master chef Amy put kidney beans in a frittata. Kidney. Beans. In. A. Frittata. 🤮.

Salmon video!  Jacob's birthday.    If she mentioned one more time how big the salmon was I thought I would scream.  One ingredient she always forgets to mention is the dead skin cells scraped from her hands and fingers.   Also, Jacob's siblings conveniently couldn't make it.  Were they busy or is it they just don't want to be around each other anymore?
