Amy was wearing a costume that had she gone shopping or to a restaurant even one with a family theme like IHOP she would have been served because she was fully covered.

Maybe, but people would have stared at that little person and her silly costume.

Exactly, there’s no way of knowing what people thought of her cleavage on display.

We also don’t know if anyone complained…

so far this year she hasn’t worn any low cut costumes, maybe she was told not to

I agree, i think there's a very good possibility that Amy was told to get some NEW costumes for pumpkin season and ones that actually fit her now that she's gained 20 lbs or more.

The red riding hood costume was low cut 20-30 lbs ago and last year it was ridiculous, it was stretched on to her body with so much cleavage it looked like a huge ass crack on her chest.

Amy's a cheapskate and kept using the same old costumes year after year even though she could barely pour herself into them.

With Roloff farms charging people $25 for admittance they need to present new attractions like Matt's train etc..... old worn out ill fitting costumes are not a good idea and quite frankly looked stupid on her.

Her costumes this year are a big improvement.

"Past away"? She must mean "passed away". I'm sorry that little Felix is gone. Perhaps if Amy didn't take her dog on walks that were miles long and took him to the vet when he began to seem ill, the little guy might still be with us. I remember when Felix was ill and Amy was "waiting" and using home remedies on him. We commented here that she should have taken him to the vet days before....What did the little guy pass away from? Do we know?

Do we know how old he was? He was an adult the first time we saw him. If the walks were a problem Felix would have refused to go. And generally if the dog gas no specific health issues long walks are beneficial. And I've had pets go sour so fast we barely got to the vet before they died.  UT of course somehow this is all Amy's fault.

Exactly she regularly walked him way too far for a small dog and then bragged about walking him 5 miles or more… that’s absolutely too far for a dog Felix size.. period!

She also was too damn cheap to take him to the vet when he was sick and as you said she let him lay in his bed for days while she tried different home remedies which is ridiculous… period!

Hopefully she won’t replace Felix because she’s a shitty dog owner!

They’re also keeping Chris’s fish Henry (IF he’s still alive) in the wrong type of container and it’s too small… they both need to forget about having pets because they suck and don’t know what they’re doing. 🙄

Nope, not alive. He died after the move and they replaced him.

You nailed it Joan! 👍

The Roloff family in general are terrible pet owners and should forget about having pets.

Yes they're like fucking Neanderthals when it comes to pets  😡

Joan is correct they should all forget about being pet owners including Chris, he's another first rate asshole the way he kept Henry the fish in that stupid decanter.

I believe Rocky passed away under a tree on the farm.

What I recall about him was, they couldn’t find him for a couple of days. Then someone opened a bedroom door, and out came Rocky. 😧

I recall a conversation about shooting him and I got up and turned the show off because i was so angry and disgusted

He should have been put down humanely by a vet not let to wander around the farm until he finally died or they shot him

I remember some talk about shooting him but I think in the end he wound up wandering around until he died… they suck as pet owners. 👎🏻

Not so. I used have a Shih Tsu who regularly walked several miles with me. When he began balking we got him a stroller. And a bulldog that refused to go farther than necessary and then broke land speed records getting home. Depends on the dog.

I, too, remember him being ill and Amy waiting to see if he would improve.  The Roloffs all seem to have the "farm animal" mentality when it comes to their pets...  Although this brings to mind Matt taking Lucy to a dog cardiologist at one point, so that was different.

As for the walks, no dog who's cooped up in a house or even small yard most of the time -- especially after being used to running free on a farm for years -- will "refuse" to go on one when the opportunity presents itself.  The question is if he was walked too far and too long beyond his capability, and in my opinion it seems he at times was judging by Amy's posts (Felix collapsed too exhausted to even eat after one of them).  I was always sorry to see Felix and Lucy separated; they always seemed to be such great friends and have so much fun running wild in the fields.  Since Amy had Chris (and Little Henry) for companionship after that move -- as well as her two BFFs -- I always thought it would've been nice if Felix could have stayed behind instead of moving to the suburbs where he'd have to walk on a leash.

Run free (again), Felix!

What?! The Fuck!!!

No one shot Rocky.

Some pet owners, especially in rural settings, on farms, believe in letting nature take its course instead of proactively having pets euthed (or killed, not to mince words) by vets.

There's no evidence that the dog suffered.

On the other hand, I agree that keeping poor Henry in what looked like a candy dish was cruel and inhumane; he had more room in the Tupperware container in which he made the journey from Chris's house to Amy's.

Sorry, but the "Matt's a farmer, a man of the land" argument is tired at best and false at worst. He farms from his office. He was planning and talking about having Jeremy shoot the dog in the head in the barn when it was three years prior to the dog's actual death because without going to a vet, he decided the dog was too old and needed to be put down. For all his "I love Rocky" sympathy scenes, the dog died alone in the rain.

And honestly, I know PLENTY of farmers and people in rural settings who love their pets and take them to the vet despite not being able to afford it. Please don't equate "lets have Jer take Rocky to the barn and blow his brains out" when the dog was three years out from death as "letting nature take its course".

Matt was talked out of this crass plan by Amy.

Judging by the tender loving care Lucy is getting (including the aforementioned cardiac specialist), it could be inferred that Matt has turned over a new leaf here.

Amy, not so sure.  She certainly wasn't home much when she was off on her many trips with Chris, with girlfriends, on speaking engagements, out dining and drinking, etc., and I assume Felix was left behind with his sitter or home alone.

I personally consider cancer treatments for elderly pets to be...undesirable, so there are many different viewpoints on that one.

That's just not true. Dogs as they age or when sick WILL refuse to walk.

Of course leaving Felix behind does not take into account  his emotional attachment to Amy. Or is Amy so despicable that Felix couldn't possibly love her?

I don't know anything about Henry but if he was a beta they rarely last more than a year because the fancy males are spent breeding stock. Even if kept in 10 gallon tanks.

Yes. Being a farmer does not excuse you from cruelly letting your pet suffer until it dies  “naturally”.

Wait a minute...  "A few days before the wedding," Amy was partying at the beach with Lisa -- and Deb, Felix's regular go-to sitter.  I hope she didn't board him instead; things can go very wrong there, or at least they have for dogs where I live.  Maybe Amy will eventually disclose the cause of death, but I doubt it...

Oh, I think he would have been fine at the farm with his buddy Lucy.  It's not like Amy is never there and he'd never see her again!

I'd worry more that Matt would resent having a dog foisted off on him... and I can't imagine there wouldn't have been an outcry if she abandoned her dog on the farm. Can we stop with how cruel it is for someone to have a small dog with a small yard? The counter arguement that the dog was walked to death makes the 'yard is too small for him to get exercise' thing silly.

Also if tbe dog died aug 26, Amy was not partying, per comments here and her Instagram the last pre wedding outing was the weekend prior.

Finally, plenty of people board their dogs. Like any service, there can be bad apples but I know plenty of good kennels.

I kinda wonder where Lucy goes when Matt heads to Arizona for weeks... well, based on prior behavior, Matt probably just leaves and assumes it will all work out...

Except that he's been a successful Realtor for many years. Aside from Molly and maybe Tori, he's about the only person who has or had a secure career with longevity.

Tori has not had "a secure career with longevity."  She taught (I think kindergarten) one -- maybe at most two - years and is semi-literate...

As for real estate, you can work at that about as hard as you want to and, depending on the market at the time, you'll make more or less money selling more or fewer houses.  It's not like he's showing up day after day for a 9 to 5 for 30 years to earn a pension.

I'm going with Molly as the only one with "a real job" and, of course, Matt for successfully owning and running the farm for however many years.

Selling real estate is a "real job." According to his client reviews, Chris "shows up" when he needs to. I wasn't aware that earning a pension was the criterion by which jobs are quantified as "real." I guess all the doctors, small business owners, and other people who fund their own pension accounts don't have "real jobs," either.

And, whether Tori has taught one year or 30 years, teaching Kindergarten is a career with longevity and even a pension.

Matt didn't and doesn't "own and run" the farm independently, lol.

What difference does it make? The point is that he was successful enough selling real estate to support himself for many years (which takes work ethic) and apparently keeps his hand in the business (he sold a house on 10/7/21). He's also near or at the age when many people start to work less and transition to retirement.

Just now, all4mom2 said:

As has been pointed out...posts here are the posters' opinions, and that is mine.

YMMV.

I'll be sure to let me FIL know that he didn't work at a "real job" for 40 years when he owned his own roofing company and funded his own pension, lol.

But let's be consistent. If we're using company pensions and a 9 to 5 schedule to quantify "real jobs" then Matt hasn't worked at a "real job" in 20 years.

Certain things have to be done - every day - to successfully operate a farm.

Again, realtors can sell as many or few houses as they like; if one lives frugally and has simple needs as a single man with no dependents, one can be "semi-retired" all one's life.
