Lu remains in denial in regard to her alcoholism.  She still hasn’t hit acceptance yet, so her rock bottom will just be deeper.   I hope she reaches it and turns things around before her disease kills her.

Fairly new to RHONY, and I like LuAnn so far. Watching her on Ultimate Girls Trip though, and she is wild! Call me old-fashioned, but I don't think it's classy to flash married men.

It’s not! You have to go back and watch pretentious Luann with her Countess manners. It’s hard to believe she wrote an etiquette book.

WHO ghost-wrote her etiquette book?   Her husband's family's title went to Luann's head.  She was mean and demeaning to too many people on her too many years on the show.

Friday, today.  Did I hear right?  The whole cast is new for this coming season?  No oldies coming back?  I am devastated.  Who has a job and who doesn’t?  Lu has cabaret .. Ramona has something, the rest I don’t know.  Sonja better find a sugar daddy.  I don’t believe this .. my favorite show.  It’s just WRONG.  Anyone know anything? Friday, Nov. 18, 2022

I feel the same. I was rushing through the show, now I’m taking my time since I don’t want to run out of RHONY.

Lou loves younger guys.  The younger, the better.  I just saw somewhere they all are not coming back.  New cast.  Is Bravo nuts?

There are two shows. The Legacy with some of the old HWs including Luanne and unfortunately, Dorinda, but not Ramona, and a relaunch with an all new cast....

Oh geeze.  Is all this on Peacock also?  Of all people Dorinda, who I can’t stand anymore, especially since I saw her special in the Bezerkshires.  She was HORRIBLE.  Thanks for the info.  Not liking these changes.

They might be. Eventually. None of the new shows started filming as far as I know.

My Daughter saw her on stage in the beginning.  She hardly sings .. talks along for a few lines.  It doesn’t matter if she can’t sing as the audience goes wild as soon as she comes out.  Her gowns are fabulous.  They all just love her.  This was in the beginning,  I don’t know about now.

Do you still pay for cable? I recently ditched it because it just costs so much. I mostly watch Houseswives anyway.

Yes, I pay for cable.  Then I go from one to the other .. Netflix, Hulu, whatever.  I loved the N.Y. Housewives the best, plus I could watch Sex and the City all day long when it was on.  Love the marathon when they show it, as it’s the best.

Yeah, Ramoaner was getting a little testy and crabby the last season.  Guess she had it.  I will watch the Legacy tho, even tho I don’t care for Dorinda or Jill.  The earlier seasons were the best.

Hey, you might not have to add Peacock. It’s possible that they air first on Peacock, then only a few months later on Bravo. That’s what they did with Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Trip, at least.

I have Peacock, Netflix, and HBO Max. I think I like RHONY a lot because it reminds me a bit of SATC. Luann and Samantha/Kim remind me a bit of each other actually. Both naturally beautiful, aging beautifully and super confident ladies.

Lu looks very good. The cosmetic surgeons and Housewives in New York have much more restraint. Jill Zarin looks very natural on RHUGT, too.

The reboot is filming right now, and one of the HWs quit because of antisemitic remarks on social media. She is Jewish.

Yes, I read she quit.  I’m going to miss the others .. Sonja, etc.  They are like family at this point.  Too many changes, not good.  LuAnn lost a ton of weight.  Drinking, not eating.  She looks great tho.    We’ll see how it goes.  No choice, unfortunately.

My daughter was in the first row when Lou started.  Lou sort of sings, but you can’t hear too well as the crowd is singing and screaming, so you can barely hear her very few notes.  They just love her, no matter what.

I specifically bought HBO Max for it.  I watched it morning, noon and night for four weeks.  I was shocked it was R rated.  They showed everything.  My husband ran away.  He said “what are you watching porn for”. Lol.  I told him I was learning new things.  Hahaha.  Samantha was a hoot.  To me, she was the show.

I was late to the RHNY party too.  I was always “too good” for this show.   It was sooooo beneath me.  
 

Not only did I binge it like a maniac, but I PAID to watch “Bethenny Gets Married”.  
 

LuAnn in those early seasons is TV gold.  Falling in the bushes is captured on film forever.

I just saw the show - Luanne doesn't really say much - at least in the edit.

But she is painfully thin. She was always slender and had an enviable figure but she was never unrealistically emaciated looking. Her face is really gaunt.
